It's a lifetime service agreement not a warranty. They will attemt to repair first then if thats no longer possible they may offer a replacement tool. Should not be confused with a warranty tho.
@@Nate-m8y It's because it's great marketing. They think it's automatic but you have to fill it the paperwork to get the lsa or is a standard warranty. People always use these, wear them out, and buy a different tool because they forgot about the lsa or they want a better, newer model. BTW, Makita gives a longer warranty on most of their tools if you register them on their website.
