I hope you know how much you mean to your viewers, your squad. I, for one, certainly appreciate you taking the time to let us in on the different aspects of your life…enjoying it to the fullest. Thank you, kind sir. Take care.
I can almost smell the woods, the river and the cooking trout. What a wonderful trip. A grand time for all. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing and “bringing us along”. DOL
Is this Pastor Joe? I just happened to see that a name by 'Viking Preparedness' had posted. I'm a fan. Anyway, take care & God bless
I spent every hunting season and many of a summer packing horses into the Bob.
Man I love it.
You've gotta do long form versions of this type of thing! I know you're tryna escape in a way, but it was lovely to tag along. It helped brighten my day and give me a break from the politics and artificial world we live in. I look forward to getting out with the kids myself.
Brightened my day as well. Couldn’t put it into words, but that’s exactly what it did. Thank you, Pat Mac.
Hard not to feel blessed with good scenery and good people around you.
Brings back some great .memories of camping in the Western states
Beautiful location for a week long getaway. Thanks for the video SMG.
Wow thats a Wicked Awesome trip ...I will add it to my bucket list! Thanks for sharing such a sucky view ! Rock and Roll 🤘🤙😎
That's the area I grew up in! Glad you enjoyed it.
Such a great sequence of activity, loving the IPA to finish. Physical and mental wellness.
The Bob is high on my bucket list. I see them every day but I've never been. Thanks for the video
Thank you, very good of you for taking the time to film this. I enjoyed this, again cheers.
Thank you for sharing sir!
Awesome. And best way to eat fresh trout at camp.
Almost done reading Pete Blaber's book "The Mission, The Men, and Me". There's a great story about the Bob in there!
Yes. I took him there
Born and raised in montana. Know the Bob well. Great video.
I love cold weather camping last time we did this was up north in Manitoba Canada called Clearwater.
It was wet and was around 32 to 40 degrees we stayed out for a week tenting and fishing loved it
Beautiful country!
Thanks Mac ☘️
Remember reading about this in Blabers books. Cool to see it, finally. Thanks for sharing, love these slice of life adventures
Thanks Pat for taking the time outta your trip to show us a snip it of the beauty of BM!
Never camped like that n never out west in the real mts…but u def motivated me now🤙
What a view! Awesome brother rock and roll!!!
Thanks Pat Mac!
Beautiful country...enjoy every breath...
Awesome! I love the uptick in frequent short clips. I am going to make that trip with you. 2023 is the year
I’ve been in the country many times. Try coming in the North end via Hungry Horse Reservoir along the south fork of the Flathead towards Big Salmon Lake. Great hike., a lot of up and down….but worth it. Great fishing. Keep up the awesomeness!
the BOB traverse is the last real adventure in the lower 48
that's incredible. looks awesome
Pat, I’m far from a talented fly fisherman but I had a good mentor. On a ranch I worked on in Wyoming I was given some Bitch creek Nymphs that just plain old caught trout. Black and orange was the preferred pattern but black and yellow fished well also.
Nymphing can be tough, easy to miss a strike. But productive for those who know how to run a nymph. And you can't always pick when topwater dry fly work gets you something.
I'm with you, nymphs are where the action is at here in NC, but I always keep a 1/24 oz single hook rooster tail in case things get lean.
@@seanoneil277 I’m Agreeable with everything you said
Looks like a great place to camp and fish.
Beautiful country. As a native East coast guy, i'm infatuated with MT, UT, CO and WY. I can't get enough.
It's so much fun. Just going out there and seeing how long you can live off the land is alot of fun.
Check out idaho and the sawtooth wilderness. It’s hard to beat
@@totenfurwotan4478 I've lived in Washington State, California, back to WA, Virginia, then Idaho, and finally back to WA again. I can say the Sawtooths are an undrrated national treasure.
Me too Dave I am fascinated by these places and outdoor skills but I just don’t have practical experience with it-time to change that
@@markiannuccilli9577 only way to change it is to get out doors and do it. Everyone has time to get outdoors unless you live in some disgusting city
I'm lucky enough to have the bob marshal in my back yard. It's some of the most beautiful country to be in.
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.
Great job Mac.
Happy trails.
That looks so awesome. Rock on
Ok ok I’m jealous! Thanks for sharing
My dad used to say we make our own luck good for you Mr. McNamara thank you for your sacrifices I think you’ve earned yourself a good time
Nice! Looking forward to this video!
The Bob Marshall is a beautiful place. I spent a week elk hunting with my dad out there as a High School graduation gift. We packed up our gear and headed out from Michigan, stayed at a lodge similar to the one you did. I'll never forget that trip.
Awesome! I go climb fourteeners in the Colorado back country at least once a year. Next trip is in early August. Just seeing your footage of trails, creeks, trees and grass, I can feel the breeze and smell the rain! Man, I can’t wait to get back out there!
Thanks!
Beautiful!!!
Looks like a lot of fun. I remember going camping with my son when he was in scouts. I miss those days going out enjoying God's Country.
God bless brother
Thanks for this. A friend and I hiked into the Bob Marshal and spent 3 nights up there. On the way out we saw a Grizzly bear crossing our path at a 90 degree angle about 30 yards in front of us. Fortunately (I don't know how or why) we scared him and he ran straight up the mountain, at least , as fast as a horse can run. Never seen anything like it. I had a .44 mag revolver and he had a short single barrel 12 gauge. But we didn't have them out and I doubt if we could have gotten them out in time had this fellow charged towards us. My friend Tim had some pretty serious blisters by then I and think I could have outrun him.
Outstanding
Looks awesome 👏
Wow Pat! I’ve been waiting for this for a while.
Yeah, you can go ahead and color me envious :)
You would love hiking the remote coast of Washington state.
Thank you brother for taking us along. ❤️
Awesomeness- thanks for sharing- can’t beat time in nature
Nice video! As a Montana resident we really appreciate the Bob. Especially the west side. Next time consider changing it up and enter from the west. It’s all mountains, no plains or foothills.
Glad you upgraded to the Nemo👍
That is rock and roll, indeed!
Spectacular
Thanks for sharing 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Wow.....Beautiful country...Beautiful girl..living the dream warrior. Be safe Bruh.
always had the feeling that i'd be a sleeping bag burrito in big bear country. ⛺🐻
Looks like great time
There is not a better feeling than looking to the horizon and seeing an ocean of mountain peaks
Pat Mac, Bob Marshall, gotta love it.
Need to come up to Alaska...some good fishing up here...
Dude this is a rad trip!
Beautiful fresh trout with a fisherman's appetite.
Good stuff Mr Mac, enjoying these tidbits of skill, knowledge, and wisdom. Thank you sir.
28 yr old American here thanks for this inspiration.
Yeah Man. Rock and Roll.
I really appreciate this video! Hope to see more!
I was hoping to see some birds . Cool video Mac!
I am blessed to live halfway between the Bob and the Frank Church and I’ve explored both of them, but not as much as I would like to!
Beautiful country. Looks like a great trip.
I have takem thst same route along the sun a few times
Cool adventure.
Amazing landscape! 🇺🇸👍🏻💪🏻💯
What ya gotta watch is some of the temperature drops that come with storms. I’ve seen it drop 30 degrees in a half hour. It can sure get to your muscles after a day of hiking.
"A bad day fishing", huh? LOL
Excellent get out and rock n roll
Awesome. Sun Canyon Lodge has great burgers and beer. I’m lucky enough to work in that area. The high speed internet y’all used. You are welcome.
Hope you guys had fun Pat, Blaze On.
Great job.
Thanks for sharing that.
That fishing/cooking combo looks pretty slick.
What an awesome dude
I am just west of the Bob , beautiful country 🇺🇸
Helllll yea that would be awesome
Looks like lots of fun. Enjoy!
Glad to go along with you. I can taste the fish and smell the smoke. See you up there some day.
Come hike the Juan De Fuca Trail on Vancouver Island!
Thanks for taking us along 🤘🏼
highly motivating Pat thank you so much!!!
That was bad ass !
Changed fly's Pat!
Awesome trip, thanks for sharing it.
Might be cool to do a follow up vid of the gear used what you like & don’t like from experience over the years
you should walk from there to Glacier National Park... pretty brutal but incredible... or just drive up to the Flathead and I'll take you out on the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi!
Cool stuff!
This looks awesome
Nothing better than that
Awesome video
Good times! Yes Sir!
Wow, thank you for sharing some great videos. Beautiful scenery mountains and stream and cool that you're a fisherman; love fishing myself, got the fly rod but haven't tried it yet. Might want practice first, so I don't catch myself instead of the fish.
