The guy's on the sky forum stated Dave from DDMworks said this creates zero HP gain and doesn't help with air flow. Im interested in buying but is this soley comestic?
Job Done Right - The charge pipes do allow for better airflow at higher engine rpms, and with higher lb/min airflow from the turbo charger. These are a supporting modification that allow our Stage 2 and Stage 3 tunes to breathe easier in the upper RPM range. Simply adding the pipes themselves without the tune will not gain you any power, since the ECU's stock program has a "learn down" feature that prevents the engine from making more than the factory programmed power output. All of our tunes have the "learn down" feature defeated. DDMWorks does not tune the Solstice and Sky first hand, and do not have the tuning experience with these cars that we do. They use a 3rd party service called Trifecta to provide a tuning solution for their customers. We write our tunes in-house for each unique customer's car, and perform a few hours of datalogging and revising of the tune to calibrate the car properly. The charge pipes happen to be nicely cosmetic as well, which is an added bonus. We paint ours either to match any factory color, or in custom colors depending on your preference to really help them stand out under the hood.
So, you had stated that we need the stage 2 and 3 tunes done by you guys. Is that something you do on the computer or do we have to bring our car there? I'm hoping you can do it over the internet since I live in Ohio and coming to AZ. isn't an option.
Is this REALLY accurate? Any dyno results with factory sky, solstice, Opel GTs with just these aftermarket charge pipes Holding a linear powerband after install? Someone shut me up....
Just ordered these in GREEN for the dragon. The charge tubes were made by several manufacturers but RPM makes their own. They look great.

I stall the stage 2 kit with a high flow cat and a tune with it .yeah definitely fell the power
My gxp dyno at 320 at the wheel and over 400 of torque
I'd love to give you my money, but with no dyno proof, I have to assume it's snake oil.
