Good choice on the aftermarket charge tubes, especially if you go with a Trifecta performance tune which I highly recommend, I think you'll be quite impressed!
Hi-As a '99 Ford Mustang GT owner who just weeks ago, bought an '06 Solstice (base), I'm having fun soaking up as much info as possible. Good video, but (no offense) I was actually more impressed with turbo "hiss" (spoolup) than the exhaust, ah.."'notes". Not your fault. I've been around ALOT of motors (I'm 75), and relatively slow revving 4 bangers just have a hard time sounding impressive. I've learned they (Eco-tec motors) were never intended to be "Hot Rod" motors, so I get it. Still, fun car. It REALLY likes corners😮. Just Say'n
Best performance mods you can do for the money." Trifecta performance tune"! $450.00 makes this car run really good, quite a bit better than stock. The nice thing about the trifecta tune, it can be hooked to your main cruise control button, the one with the yellow light on the steering wheel. You can also hook it to your traction control button, you get to choose which way you want when you buy! Trifecta is the only tune you can switch back and forth from stock to performance tune! I have it on my 2008 GXP aggressive red. Install the tune with 18,000 miles, now have 51,000 miles, 6 years later, absolutely not one problem, car runs really strong. Stock 15 lb of boost. Trifecta performance tune 23 lb of boost. This tune will add about 40 horsepower, 60 more pound feet of torque! All done through your laptop, takes about a week to get the tune sent to you, about 15 minutes to download.
Doesn't matter what you do to the solstice performance-wise. Full 3-inch exhaust, aftermarket charge tube's the car is not going to make any more horsepower than it does stock. The ECM has what they call learn down, as you drive the car will automatically learn back to its 260 horsepower. If you add a tune, it will bypass the learn down feature, so you can take advantage of your bolt ons for horsepower! I strongly suggest installing a Trifecta performance, it's worth every penny and more!
With an o2 sensor delete and no cat the performance will be worse. You may think its better because its louder but thats not how modern day computer controlled engines work.
that honestly sounds pretty decent for it just being a dump behind the cat.
Yeah, it'd not to bad
Nice job buddy it is not too loud or over powering. With the straight pipe to tge back you willbe fine. Good job.

We have a ported head with stage 2 cams ready for it. Will do a video soon!

Sweet😊
I got one to, get a new intercooler would like to see how it’s done
May do one in the future
I did mine. There are a few videos on it. It was pretty straightforward. The bumper was a pain in the ass to do alone

Sick dude, yall should try to find a halo kit for the solstice I can’t seem to find one that looks good and isn’t 900 dollars
I wish they made cheaper light options. Haven't found anything

I know. I usually throw a tune on once the exhaust is removed. Working on a 3in downpipe and exhaust.
You are installing mods at a car wash????
😂 needed the cover
