Thankyou for the review! Do u think it's good for fitness class eg body combat or zumba? Bcs I've been struggling looking for the right shoes for these workouts and keep having calluses on my feet n i think it's bcs I've been wearing the wrong shoes this whole time. Thanks b4! 😊
I chose the 3s over the 4s. I have wide feet but still true to size and stuck with my usual 10.5 US. They were initially a bit snug over the bridge but wore in after 1 day. Triple black in these look great.
I have a pair of original Nike Free RN 1.0 from 2016. A guy in the running store can see my knees collapsing in just when standing up so they really don't have any lateral stability or torsional stiffness. I know these aren't the same shoes but they have that similar flexible sole. Did you notice anything like that or is it just a totally different shoe? Maybe the flexibility you mention can really work against some people.
My absolute favorite workout shoes for everything. I used to squat barefoot but these feel so good to squat or deadlift in so I just prefer these now over everything.
@@shitijsablania4995 I feel they are perfect for running they’re more geared towards cardio/hiit than powerlifting yet still excel at powerlifting I’m surprised they’re not talked about more maybe they’re just my preference but I love the versatility. I’ve PRd in squats and deadlifts in these while running 3 miles post workout.
i mostly do hiit workouts.. what would you recommend? i had the adidas cloudfoam pure.. it worked well but looking for a new style but with the same feel
my shoe size is 43 but nike free metchon 4 shoe patterns are different can you help me ? What is your shoe size number, nike free metchon 4, which number should I buy?
I feel something strange at the right shoe, under my heel! Its normal? Its just like, the material missing at the middle,or its just strange to me for first,or its wrong product?
I’m getting back in shape from a shattered femur and have been using the free metcons because they provide support and flexibility which has been great for recovery. I used to play basketball but haven’t since the injury. Im finally at a place where I feel comfortable getting back into playing again, though I’m worried about switching back to basketball shoes. Would you recommend the 4’s for playing basketball? If not is there a good basketball shoe that I wouldn’t feel uneasy wearing/playing in?
I wouldnt. the metcon sole would be too soft, might induce ankle undulation which would be deleterious to your recovery attempt. Nike HyperDunks are a great basketball shoe.
At this point I can’t really send them back, though I really wish I could. They just don’t fit well, none of the sizes worked and I tried to settle, but they’re hot garbage.
Are they good for walking, aerobics, and cycling? Do it have good arch support? Since you stated it’s not a good training shoe which is the best shoe for all types of exercises or training?
Are these comfortable for a daily shoe? I just think they look cool, and don’t want to use them for training. I would like to wear them around town casually lol
Hey! I was wondering which shoe you would recommend for the gym, i usually do boxing, some interval runs and some light lifts, is there a shoe youd recommend for under 100$? Cheers!
I’d try to find some of the older free Metcon 3s on sale, even 2s but those fit odd. Another great current choice are Puma fuse or Lane Eight trainers.
I had to send mine back, I couldn’t get my foot into the new model. Sizing just seemed off and they were super tight for my normal size 10 for all other Nikes.
How do these fit compared to the metcon 6's? I like the width of the free's especially around the arch area but the 6's look like they're a bit narrower there.
I didn’t know that the elastic strap with the Nike logo on the 4 was designed to keep the shoes in place. I personally dislike the huge Nike logo and cut them off. In my opinion, the 4 looks so much better without the massive Nike logo. The 4s are normally tight shoes and I haven’t had any issues with the heals coming off from the shoes without the elastic band
So glad that Nike fixed the ankle issue. I can't wear my 3's for working out because how loose it is around the ankle, no support. Nice review!
I was waiting to see what they'll do with this one since I liked the frees but the react metcons have won me over after seeing both reviews !
Thanks for the great review!! Looking for my first lifting shoes and this is really helpful
You'd be good with Converse for squat + dead
Awesome review !! Just a question which training shoe would be the best right now to get?
Do you recommend free metcon 4 or zoomX superrep surge for a sport that needs to be stable on ground and includes a lot of lateral movements?
I slept on the 3 last year, the beige ones were soo nice!
Which one you’d choose between free metcon4 vs The project Rock 3?
would you recommend these ones for flat feet crossfit athlete?

Any idea when the Free Metcon 5 will release? Does this shoe series usually release same time each year?

So my feet are 28 cm. Which size would you recommend in UK size?

Do you Think they will ever release metcon free 5 or is the last version ??
Can you please review Toomey's new rogue belt?

How are they for treadmill since I am looking for an overall shoe and my knees end up hurting at times?

I bought my usual trainer size but I struggle to my put my foot in! I didn't realise its a slip on shoe! 😖
Will there be a metcon free 5 ?
Nike Metcon Free vs Nike Metcon Turbo what's the difference anyone can help?
metcon 4 or the metcon 7's?
Is it ok for 5km running
Would you recommend these for Zumba?
I thought they would be comfortable running but I found that my feet hurt when walking a while just after purchasing them and going to Walmart

Are you going to have a review of the NB Minimus TR's coming out soon or did you send them back?
At this point I can’t really send them back, though I really wish I could. They just don’t fit well, none of the sizes worked and I tried to settle, but they’re hot garbage.
I got the 4s in all black. I have wide feet, sized up 1 size. My feet are nice and snug. It is hard to get my foot in the shoe, the opening is tight
1 full size? Or half a size?
metcon 7 or metcon 4 ?

They’re fine for general purpose stuff, but there are better options like the superrep line.
The arch is almost nonexistent
@as many reviews as possible hi sir good day is this okay to use for treadmill running and endurance training?
They would be okay but I think there are better options that are mainly running shoes
Would you go with the free metcon 4s or the reebok speed TRs?
They’re very different even though they sound the same, I think I would do free Metcons for the extra cushion. Speed if you wanted a minimal trainer.
Are these comfortable for a daily shoe? I just think they look cool, and don’t want to use them for training. I would like to wear them around town casually lol
I recently buy one pair for daily wear and sooooo comfortable. (I have very sensitive feet) I recommend it.

They run small
Same. Sent them back. What did you end up with?
@@Arlyndonnelly I got the Metcon 7s, they fit much better.
@@michaelblair awesome. I think I may try them the free 4s didn’t fit right for me

The 3 and most likely the 4 are more narrow than the MEtcon 6
I have the 3 and I love them, best shoe to work out at the gym
Do they fit true to size or should I go up or down half a size
@@willhansen1307 I went up
Would they stretch out a bit ?
Yeah they do
Are they good for running and sprinting?
They’re usable, but I wouldn’t pick them first.
I think they look pretty good
"I ordered 2 pairs cause I need 2 pairs" in university gold and crimson red 😃
I guess Im quite off topic but does anyone know of a good site to stream new tv shows online ?
@Desmond Fox i use FlixZone. You can find it on google =)
@Desmond Fox I watch on FlixZone. You can find it on google :)
@Desmond Fox i watch on FlixZone. You can find it by googling :)
So it is true to size? The toe does stretch?
Yes and yes
I normally wear a 12 but bought a 13 and it’s PERFECT!!
I scour the internet daily for the og Free X Metcon......these look like dinosaur teeth were glued to a platform sole
My fav workout shoes ever. Still holding strong.
