Hi Sirin. This cardigan is a STUNNER. SUBLIME LOVE IT. You teach beginners to use COMMON SENSE and LOGIC. Your T shirt measurements are great. I have never tried this. I make a swatch, 10cm X 10cm and calculate according to instructions in pattern. TIME CONSUMING and the finished garment is a FLOP 😩. I sew my own clothes by drawing the outline of an old shirt or pants on paper. Then keep that as my pattern. Your measurements are amazing, NO FUSS NO GUESS. You make crocheting SIMPLE and EASY. You are a RARE PEARL in the ocean. Thanks for sharing caring and making me smile 💋. A big hug from my Newfoundland to you and your kids. 🥰🌹💖👍👍👍

How clever to use a fitted shirt for the measurement. I crochet three and had to end up tearing it all out, too loose or too small.
This out came out just right on the body. Fix good and half way done.
    Thank you very clear instruction.❤

Thank you for showing me a wsy to crochet myself a sweater I can fit based on my measurements. You have me stitches for the back the sleeves and the front. You made it where I understand. Thank you so much. To use my own tee shirt as a guide really helps even more.

Hi Sirin. I have just seen that you have almost 68k subs. Thanks for sharing with us your projects. I wish you unlimited creativity and inspiration. P. S. Maybe you can make a pullover top down sweater with round yoke with some ornaments-special stitches like popcorn or bubble stitch? It's only my wish 😉💜💚💛God bless you.

Great tutorial (as usual) and I adore the colors. So if I wanted to make this a pullover, no front opening, I can just keep going in rounds, right?

Did you make this as a pullover? Can you post a picture please?

    • @remedy9648

Kate Pacholl I did, I already gave it away but when you’re making the starting chain just connect it with a slip stitch, making sure you don’t twist the chain. Continue crocheting as the tutorial shows. Once you get to the point of making the armholes, just continue going in rounds instead of row by row. It’s up to you, you can either slip stitch and just continue in rounds or, after each slip stitch, turn your work and go in the opposite direction. The latter makes it so that there’s not an obvious line at the point you slip stitched. I hope this helped! Stay safe and healthy! 💜🙏💜

Brilliant! But how to calculate how many yards for the sweater, based on bust measurement? You can’t know until you’ve got the sleeves marked and go into the body. She never talks about yardage! Many patterns say about 1100 yds for xl, which would be about 44” bust. Otherwise, great tutorial.
