  • Here is the all new, brand new Imalent LD70 flashlight kit. This features the OLED display of lumen output level and battery voltage. The magnetic charging cable is improved and more stationary on this LD70 from the previous LD10. The world famous Cree XHP70.2 LED for an incredible flood beam performance. This is a perfect size for EDC. the sheer wall of light this light provides is very impressive for its size. I agree with other people this should have a clip option for easier carry on ones body. This provides 900 lumens without step down which is still a lot of light. Imalent is always pushing the boundaries when it comes to features and lumens on their flashlights. Another excellent flashlight review -- thanks Charles! I'm a fan of Imalent's lights, but I"m going to wait for this this model to evolve a bit more before I buy. Reasons: The absence of a clip -- non-removable battery -- funky proprietary charging port/cable -- lack of knurling

Excelent review. The most important requirement for me today is how many lumens the flashlight offers after the step down and for how long. 900 lumens is excellent for this size and edc. I bought a MK34 manker for fishing, it offers 2000 lumens after the step down for two hours (linear), for a 10cm flashlight that can be used with one hand is excellent.

My charger is from a plug outlet for its USB connector and has charged all my other devices, but presently my LD70 flashlight's charging display is dark. Is it faulty?

so when they say High : 2000 Lumens (Gradual step down to 900 Lumens) / 1.5 Minutes + 39 Minutes
and Mid I: 900 Lumens / 45 Minutes is that 2000 lumens for 1min 30 then for 39 minutes its 900 lumens? and is it 900 lumens for the entire 45minutes?

in other words this 4000 lumens beast is only a beast for 1 minute per charge? i love my olights but i'm willing to expand my brand choice, but i have been reading reviews and comments. the negatives seem to out weight the positives . the clip isn't a huge deal. many people claiming the output on turbo is closer to 3400-3600 lumen. the fact that whatever the turbo is only lasts according to specs for 1min. real world test if these people are telling the truth are only seeing 23-45sec on turbo b4 stepping down. untill you recharge it you wont get turbo anymore. last the power duration. i havent seen anyone that got more than 25-30min. im not a brand snob. i have wowtac, thrunite, klarus and olight. i like the look of the LD70 but if those comments are somewhat accurate then this ones a pass.

I am able to use turbo way more than once on a single charge. I do not have to recharge it after using turbo for 1 minute. Turbo is not meat to run continuously on any high power flashlight. Thanks for watching!

Casually unleashing 4000 LU from your car keys for the “hard to impress with a flashlight” crowd.... hahaha Anyone can dig out their big iole light baazooka but, when you fire that lil bad boy up from your keys? Oh that might get their attention.. LoL.. Not to mention its perfect for that unexpected situation. Things like when your buddy drinks to many margaritas and wonders off into the Jamaican jungle.. LMAO.. oh its funny now! 😂😂😂 Oh it can happen.. trust me on this LoL
