She's super eager to play Roblox & Minecraft so I figured we could scrape something together. Well, it turned out to be faulty, but the guy kindly sent over some spare parts he had when I told him what we were doing, so I kept the GPU to sell because he sent us around 20GB of mixed RAM and an i7-4790! The i7 went straight in, and we sold the RAM for around £55 all in all, and the GPU went for £40, meaning after fees and shipping we were actually a processor and around £20 up! give those flashing lights a google search and see what you come up with! Hp should have a manual explaining what the flashing lights mean. My initial thought is that youre overloading the stock power supply with the rx 560 maybe?
So I am mum with very little tech knowledge in this world. My son is turning 10 and one of these has popped up on my local fb page for sale. He plays more advanced games at his dads but I thought this might be a good start and then we can upgrade it together since he is very interested in tinkering/building/electronics. Any advice is greatly appreciated! TY
Hello i bought the same computer about 2 or 3 months ago and surprised me that it worked really well with casual low to medium end games with intergrated graphics, but decided to wrap it up and threw in a GTX 1050ti. I know that with a power supply of 240watts capacity, it seems there is no problem whatsoever, but i just want to upgrade my power supply just to make sure. What PSU of higher wattage would you recommend for this SFF build?
Update: Yes guys it works really well I'm not having any issues whatsoever and the PC is very good for casual gaming. Definitely the GPU was worth it, although i got the Gigabyte version of the 1050ti not the MSI one, which was a little bit more expensive but hey that's ok. Now i wannna upgrade the RAM a bit and throw some additional 8GB inside since i only have 8.
Hi, nice video. I hace HP elitedesk 800 G2 SFF i5 -6500 ddr4 maybe graphic GTX 1650 be compatible fo this motherboard LGA 1151?? Thanks and Salute from Uruguay
I got 2 found of these free on the side of the road working had 16 GB RAM along with 4 Accer PCs but with missing RAM and hard drives. I'm doing a recovery of the Windows product keys in the motherboard bios so I can install Windows 10 on them. Thank you spring cleaners for not throwing useful PCs in the trash.
Someone left a 4-year-old working Dell laptop 8GB RAM with an M.2 drive by the trash can with the power adapter, for spring cleaning trash pickers. I had to install Linux mint on it for my friend who found it.
Question, I have that same HP 800G1, I am going to install a Geforce GTX1650, I know the power comes from the PCI-E rail thru this 240 watt power supply. Nividia recommends at least 300 watt power supply. Will the GPU still work and will it work properly? If I upgrade the PSU, the watt at the rail would not increase anyway right?

My HP EliteDesk 800 G1 has the i7-4970 Quad Core CPU @3.60GHz with 8 GB of RAM and I'm looking for a good graphics card so I can play WoW better than everything set on the lowest settings.
your best choice is a i7-4790k, they can still run most games nowadays without a single problem, for i7-4790k you are looking at around 50-80$ for a good 2nd hand one, make sure to ask the owner if the cpu has ever been overclocked or not, also the average temperature

I have 3 questions:
1-This gpu is the gtx 1050ti low profile?
2-Where i can buy it?
3-Ur using 240w psu? Bc 240w is not enough for this gpu i think.
What is the ram that you used? I’ve been trying to find a better ram for the same model but I haven’t found one that’s the correct size
Greetings, I have a question. What is the latest processor that can fit the motherboard in this device? Thank you
I believe it would be an i7 of that generation
i7-4770 (maybe k series) since this is the exact CPU mine uses
Wow. Just snagged one of these for $50 off craigslist. Has a monitor and all. Not bad.
Love this!
Hey, Great video man, May I ask what ram you used for the PC?
thanks man! sorry I never answered this. I just had some generic HP ram laying around and 2 extra sticks of ADATA ram as well. Its mixed but because the speeds are all the same, it works like a charm!
buen dia amigo, disculpa cual es el modelo de tarjeta gráfica que usaste para colocar en esta pc ??
Good luck upgrading the power supply though if you're looking to fit a more powerful graphics card... currently the gtx1650 low profile card costs the same where I am as a gtx1660 super
cards are stabilizing now! these are going to become viable again for sure!
I have the same pc but in my country low profile gpus are so hard to find and even if you find one they are just too expensive and sadly I cannot upgrade my pc😢
I just transplanted mine into a regular case so i can put other graphics in it
RUclips send me here , and thank God they did. Nice video, straight to the point. I would like to ask if it would be possible for you to make a video with one of those cheap set ups for Euro truck Simulator. There is not one Tech guy who makes a video about that game and it's sad, lots of people like to play that game. Not all games are shooters lol. I hope it falls in your area of einterests. Thank you for your service Sir, I salute you.
Do you think the 1660s single fan would fit / 1650s
Do you have a link for all the items that where added?
I do not have direct links as most of it was from ebay
Hello , can you tell me if it’s possible install AMD RX 6600 RT IN THIS PC ?
what RAM did you install? i have this pc and want to upgrade it since it can barley even run half life 2
Hi, if you care to answer uhm, what kind of case do i need to buy for elitedesk 800 g2 sff
I just purchased the HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF RGB Desktop Computer with GeForce RTX 3050 6GB, Intel Quad core i7-7700, 32gb RAM 1TB ss... for my son for Christmas in hopes he can transform it into his dream gaming pc. Can y'all PLEASE HELP ME!!! What (affordable) gaming cases do you recommend ( $100 budget), a tool kit? etc. He is insanely brilliant, he knows how to do all the computer things ( I do not), I just want to make sure he has what he needs to make or begin making signigicant mods himself. I have NO clue what to buy. I know the cases for gaming are cooling, which is def what I want for him.
Great vid and cool intro ❤
I have the mini version of this PC can I upgrade it...if so what do you recommend....
Can I use a separate psu for my gpu in my small form factor HP elitedesk 800 G2?
So the question I have is I have the same exact computer but with a totally different screen and I wanna know if I can build it up for multiple things for light I don't do gaming but I did like crypto I need to run multiple screens and you know to do different things so I just wanted to be reliable enough to hold up what I need to do so can you tell me what will I need to get
was the psu enough for the gtx 1050 ti??
Yes it was!!
Where can I buy that exact graphics card?
can u help me because i have the same pc with same psu but with i7 4th gen and i got a HIS Rx 560 gpu with 3 4gb rams. It booted up at first when i plugged the gpu but then as i was using the computer the display suddenly disappeared and i turned it off. then when i pushed the power button it started to have 4 beeps with red blinking lights. i tried to reseat the ram and the graphics card but it still wouldn't boot and still have 4 beeps with red blinking lights in the power button
give those flashing lights a google search and see what you come up with! Hp should have a manual explaining what the flashing lights mean. My initial thought is that youre overloading the stock power supply with the rx 560 maybe?
What was the graphics card you put in there?
Waht was the ram? A DD3 or DD4, was not clean on that?
it was ddr3 ram
can u please make a upgrade video of hp 280 g3 mt into gaming pc
is it have pci 3.0 or pci 2.0, please check by software..
What other Graphics cards could i put in it, i have trouble finding that exact model for under 200$
So I am mum with very little tech knowledge in this world. My son is turning 10 and one of these has popped up on my local fb page for sale. He is an avid gamer and I was thinking of getting him this but would like to know if it will run basic games like roblox/ minecraft/ some steam games? He plays more advanced games at his dads but I thought this might be a good start and then we can upgrade it together since he is very interested in tinkering/building/electronics. Any advice is greatly appreciated! TY
If I change the case and add in a 1060 3gb should be fine right? Or if I have to change the psu its a 24 pin motherboard correct
Thanks
hey i was just wondering does having a i5 4570 in it make a difference answer if u can (and can i put a gtx 1650 low profile in it and will it work)
I have this PC but the mic won't work idk why I have tried everything
what was the brand or the exact name the the gtx 1050ti card that you used?
Hello i bought the same computer about 2 or 3 months ago and surprised me that it worked really well with casual low to medium end games with intergrated graphics, but decided to wrap it up and threw in a GTX 1050ti. I know that with a power supply of 240watts capacity, it seems there is no problem whatsoever, but i just want to upgrade my power supply just to make sure. What PSU of higher wattage would you recommend for this SFF build?
Broski do you think a 1660s single fan would fit in there?
Honestly you should be fine with the stock psu
I have elitedesk 800 g2 sff with gtx 1650 and i5-6500, Im thinking upgrading my cpu but idk what to, Any ideas for a good cpu to go with gtx 1650?
My 800 G1 had a 430 watt PSU which has been plenty for a 1650
Hello please reply I was wondering if a Gigabyte GV-N1030D4-2GL GeForce GT 1030 Low Profile D4 2G Computer Graphics Card will fit into this pc? Trying to know before Purchase would be great help if you can reply and let me know 🙏
Thinking about buying this so I could flip but I barely have money I been doing jobs for my sister but it is gonna take forever
Keep it up! If you want to do it I'm sure you can!
Anyone know if i could fit a MSI Gaming Radeon RX 6650 XT instead of the GTX 1050ti?
What monitor is that? Is it portable?
yep! its a desklab portable 4k monitor
I use this as my ESXI server to run my entire small office!
very nice!
Woah this one is more accomodating to LP gpus than the sff optiplexes.
do you can change the case?
How many watts is the power supply please answer
It came with a 240w psu
i have one , but i want to buy a gtx 160 asus phoenix ... it willl work??
What about a USDT model hp elitedesk g1?
does it work with a gtx 1060?
what font should i use? thanks
My HP EliteDesk 800 G1 has the i7-4970 Quad Core CPU @3.60GHz with 8 GB of RAM and I'm looking for a good graphics card so I can play WoW better than everything set on the lowest settings.
Would love if you could reply and let me know if I’m able to play rust on mine I’ll list the specs after the reply to save time
Can you transfer the chip to other mobo?
Know this was a while ago but is it possible to change processor since games needing new updates I gotta upgrade the ram and processor
your best choice is a i7-4790k, they can still run most games nowadays without a single problem, for i7-4790k you are looking at around 50-80$ for a good 2nd hand one, make sure to ask the owner if the cpu has ever been overclocked or not, also the average temperature
this is my main pc i have one with i7 4770 and 16gb ram and 128gb hyper x ssd
so i have the hp elite 8200...rn its just got an i5 2400, but ig with this particular socket (1155) i can use a i7 3770....so i play to get the 3770 and probably a low profile 1650...fun video :)
CAN I BUY THIS FROM YOU I’ve been looking for my first pc !!
Can a normal 1050ti not a LP fit on this 800 g1 ?
In the stock case, only a low profile will work because a normal sized card will not fit
I have EliteDesk 800 G1 what should be the max CPU i could replace to it ? I plan to edit video using premiere pro. any recommendation please?

Mine didnt come with a gpu and it has 8gb ram
