Hard to believe it when I work out the years, I was travelling though America in 1998 when this album was new. I have always said good rock music doesn't get old. But gee I'm starting to feel it. That band has the most fantastic history.
"My Little Demon" My little demon, comin'on down. My little demon's turnin' me around. All of my friends keep on tellin'me That I just ain't the man I used to be. I really don't like it...ain't nothing I can do. I really don't like it...I'm leaving it to you. My little demon, making me choose. Making me an offer I can't refuse. Hard as a rock, dry as a bone... Big or little, know that I will take you home. I really don't like it...ain't nothin'i can do. I really don't like it...I'm leaving it to you. Why try to hide it? Fight it...fight it! I really don't like it...ain't nothin'i can do. I really don't like it...I'm leaving it to you. My little demon is coming after me. My little demon... It's all that I can do to keep that little demon... To keep that little demon... Just to keep that little demon away from you!
@sara31tx no I didn't really assume he was pointing at someone, but he was sorft of pointing next to him. as if he meant something about stevie. and christine confirmed it. I just get facinated b those sort of things :P
He could simply be gesturing to a stagehand that he is finished talking and ready to start the song. The howls and growls must be pre-recorded and the tech needs a cue as to when to hit it.
I was listening to the whole talk before the song on the CD. Lindsey says(paraphrasing here), "All of us have some inner demons that we struggle with. (Micks plays a little drum solo in the middle). He continues on by saying we all have them and let them get the best of us. And then he goes into what is said in this video. I agree. Lindsey wasn't really pointing at anybody because you can see he's pointing down when he says, "that's what this song is about."
@WatchYourAttitude im not sure why Stevie walks up, but when Lindsey points he's pointing to represent when he says "this song" and Christine nods like shes agreeing with him. But that's just my point of view.
@Lpeters199 Maybe...but she's always been the really laid back one, and now she's older and even more mellow. I sure wish she would agree to tour again :(
@MidnightKitsune777 ok thnx. I thought he was perhaps pointing that stevie had to come over to sing and play the tambourine. and that christine was nodding that she was coming. but at that point stevie was next to christine so he could have seen stvie. so that makes it extra odd. oh how I would die to have the gift to read minds and read lips. that would solve a whole lot of mistery's for me.
@TheDuckheadful maybe not. but it fascinates me ver since I saw it. if I could choose 2 sort of "super powers" I'd choose to read peoples thoughts (also through a computer scrren :P) and to read lips. well lip reading might not be a super power, but I can't do it :P
Has this song ever been released as a studio track? I love this song & this performance & this whole concert, but I find it odd that they never recorded it in a studio. At least not to my knowledge.
Oh the reason Lindsay points is because he and Stevie we're an item and they kinda messed it up. Which is kinda what he's talking about when he says we've all made mistakes. And not a cle why Christine nods about it, maybe for support? and Stevie walks up 'cause she's all for the dramtics :)
0:09 Stevie comes walking up. 0:13 Lindsey points his finger 0:14 Christine nodds what does it mean?! anyone out there who has an idea? I've been wondering about this ever since I first saw the dvd.
Lindsey Coates, above, commented this: "Oh the reason Lindsay points is because he and Stevie we're an item and they kinda messed it up. Which is kinda what he's talking about when he says we've all made mistakes. And not a cle why Christine nods about it, maybe for support? and Stevie walks up 'cause she's all for the dramtics :)"
I'm sure the song has sexual undertones. As far as I know, it debuted during this concert. Lindsey's words about this song don't convince me ;) By the way, just see the smiles that Stevie and Lindsey exchange at the beginning. I don't know how true this is, but there are rumors that they also resumed their relationship sometime during this period.
I love this "new" Fleetwood Mac song and I don't like anything - I think it was not nice of Lindsey to sing the lyrics "Hard As A Rock, Dry As A bone" which I think refers to Stevie on cocaine - other than those issues - I love this song!!!
Absolutely Positively 💯 Love This Song
My daughter also loved this song when it came out

Love Fleetwood Mac !!!!
@lcoates90 I think they were actually more referring to the whole thing with the drugs. Listen to the lyrics.
Love Stevie ❤
I love how they clearly forget there's an audience and just have a jam session between themselves.
this song reminds me of my little demon kael! love the little guy! my godson
@sara31tx no I didn't really assume he was pointing at someone, but he was sorft of pointing next to him. as if he meant something about stevie. and christine confirmed it. I just get facinated b those sort of things :P
The tightest they ever sounded live. Any tighter and they’d snap.
He could simply be gesturing to a stagehand that he is finished talking and ready to start the song. The howls and growls must be pre-recorded and the tech needs a cue as to when to hit it.
When I was younger I used to think this song was about his angry dog, until my dad kindly informed me it was about drug addiction.
Great song to dance to!!!!
effin A!!!!! Awesome!

I got the impression with that speech that he was trying to make it clear that it wasn't a reference to Stevie Nicks!
Love the demonic facial expressions from Mick Fleetwood.

Thanks! Haha.
@vockla I've just finished watching the DVD and that part always makes me laugh. Mick Fleetwood is such a funny man.
Agreed !!!!!!
Ya, I got that too. You can fix it by switching to 480p
Holy cow...Stevie sure was giving him the stink eye at the beginning of the video! haha
Mick always looks like that! :D
This song reminds me of something out of Rocky Horror or something.
@TheDuckheadful maybe not. but it fascinates me ver since I saw it. if I could choose 2 sort of "super powers" I'd choose to read peoples thoughts (also through a computer scrren :P) and to read lips. well lip reading might not be a super power, but I can't do it :P

That was the rain drops are falling on my head.song..... jajjajajaj
can not get the sound, damn an double damn...
With the possible exception of Christine, everyone in that band had drug/alcohol problems in the '70s...
This fits Bowser Jr so well. :D
Love how Mick Fleetwood always looks like he's high on drugs!
The drummer at 1:56
1:57 hahahahahah
Has Fleetwood Mac written a song that I DON'T like?
