    As someone who has ridden the H8 for almost 14k miles and a review coming soon [shameless plug] Do not underestimate the ability to turn off and on the AWD. The New Jumbo has it my Hanevear has it as well as my EB9, and I love it. I call it my hill climbing button LOL. So that is a nice feature. Probably not enough to ditch the H8, but if you were upgrading to the Jumbo you will love it [Now, if I can only figure out how to reset the trip on the Jumbo, I will be a happy camper].
    I will say I love the full suspension of the Jumbo and paired with a suspension seat the ride is great. So not being full suspension, I am sure is a drawback for some. I did put 10600 miles on my Ecotric and it is a hard tail, but I was naive LOL. Now I will not ride without a suspension seat post at the very least. But Hey, what about the name? For the life of me I don't know why these companies have names no one can pronounce or weird spellings that make it impossible to search and find the bike LOL Anyway, Nice review and it looks like this bike shares a lot with the H8 and a very nice price point.

I plan on making more videos if you want to wait and see more first, but it seems to be the same quality as everything else under 3k. Would make a nice street, trail or beach bike and the price is hard to beat for a AWD.

    Living in Yukon Canada AWD is a must for climbing mountains, driving down snowmobile trails, sand and swampy tundra. I bought my first AWD from Eunorau fat-awd 250w front 350w rear. Was good in snow but underpowered. Things started to fall apart,battery died after 600 miles and when opened up found exposed cut wires that could have started a fire.Being a Chinese company they made excuses and nothing got fixed. It is a difficult thing to buy a bike from China being that it's half a world away, your on your own. Decided if I wanted quality I would have to build it myself. Grin technologies had the high end controllers, displays, and motors that I wanted for the ultimate AWD bush wacking bike. I have 2 AWD bikes at the moment and one 3 motor with bbshd. It has 3 Phaserunner controllers, 2 Cycle Analyst v3 displays, 3 72v 20ah batteries, 26" x 5 inch tires,Grin All Axel front motor, bbshd, Bafang G062 rear. All can push up to 4000w each for a few minutes for a total of 12000w. Luckily Phaserunners have thermal rollback to protect the motors. I also have Regen from the All Axel motor. There is a reason those chinese bikes are cheap because the battery is cheap and potentially burns your house down. Try and buy a UL certified battery, it's getting close to the cost of that bike. Hopefully you luck out . New 3 motor ebikes build coming up with 2 new Grin fat All Axel motors and Bbshd. Originally designed to replace a 12 hp diesel motor on a 32 foot sailboat with one of these motors, it gives you the idea of the power that this motor can put out. All made in Canada not China.

    • @MrCsebike
      @MrCsebike  2 месяца назад

      Sounds like you built yourself a bad ass bike. But everything from China is bad and you are right it's not a good idea to buy direct from china. You need someone fairly close to help you. But it's hard to get away from the best batteries come from china so do the controllers. And Bbshd is Bafang which is a Chinese Co. and you know 30% of Grin's made in Canada motor is a purchase order to China. Not saying it's good or bad just the way it is. All of my videos so far are for the people who can't spend 12k on a bike China or not I think most people want to stay under 2k and ride down the road. That being said I wish you were closer so I could see and maybe even ride your build sounds like a ton of power.

      @@MrCsebikeActually Phaserunner and Baserunner controllers are ASI controllers from Canada. So are the Cycle Analysis v3 displays and the Grin All Axel motors you cannot buy these in China. ASI controllers are known to be one of the best in the world. As far as batteries go Panasonic, Samsung, LG, are not Chinese companies, but there are quite a few counterfeit batteries made in China. You have to admit the Chinese do have an advantage in the EV business but there are a lot of Chinese companies you cannot pronounce their name that ship to North America and another fly by night sold on Amazon. Bafang is probably the most proven reliable motors from China that is why I chose the Bbshd and G062. My Chinese bike was $1600 US plus shipping but was not worth the money and proved to be potentially a dangerous fire hazard. You get what you pay for and hopefully it does not cost you more than you bargained for. Generally 90% of the time I only drive about 10 mph thru the bush but when you have a big climb up a mountain then you appreciate the power. Not many places have pavement in the Yukon.

      @@rufusirvin5279 Most of these are Co.'s based out of wherever but if you look in to them they don't even have a manufacturing plant. The batteries you mentioned are all the ones you want when looking for a e bike battery but are all Chinese and Korean made, Panasonic is building a plant in Indiana but won't be making e bike batteries it will be for electric car batteries. If your looking for batteries go for Bosh they make about 50%of their batteries in Germany but the rest are made in China. Grin All Axel motors may have designed their motor and maybe even build some of it but thay had to keep in mind that the stuff they got from china had to fit in it. Not saying that's bad infact if I'm looking for electronics I'm going to China not Canada. Like if I'm looking for a car I'm going to Detroit or Italy not some Co. that popped up in Canada. Three Co.'s in Shenzhen have been making e bikes and the components for 40 years and other Co.'s have been putting their own name brand on them if you get junk it's not China's fault it's the second Co. that ordered junk. Anyway, it sounds like for where you ride you need to do just what you did, build your own ride. Like the downhill riders can't use what is great for most people, they need special bikes made for downhill tracks. Just where you're riding theirs's not a big enough market for anyone to make the bikes.

      I've done a fair bit of research on controllers and displays but I might have missed something 7:26 and I'm curious what Chinese controllers do you know would equal all the features of a Phaserunner and build quality. Also what Chinese display would equal a Cycle Analyst v3 for all its features.

    I had pretty much this same bike and the battery is way too small if you want to use both motors all the time which is how I like to ride. I have an Ariel Rider Kepler now, but highly considering the Philodo Jumbo as I love the fact it has dual batteries so I could use dual motors all the time and still get great range.

      It feels like less torque in AWD but has more in RWD, so I'm guessing the one controller is larger than a single H8 controller but not twice the size.
