Then unsubscribe to gamepass and try something else, I've had Xbox gamepass for a few months now and whilst on paper it is AMAZING, there are only 1-3 games I found interesting in the whole gamepass despite checking all 100+ games multiple times. I don't think gamings gotten less fun, it's just watered down with garbage, alot of the games I'm seeing in this guy's library are also garbage, I don't intend to say that in a negative way. for God knows what reason most of the games on the steam FrontPage aren't very fun for me and alot of people like this dude. and the same goes for videos recommending "the top 10 best games 2024" etc. So I don't blame people for not finding fun games because I struggle to find them too in the current market. A game recommendation that I'd like to make is persona 5 royal, it's not everybody's cup of tea, but after a friend got me to try it, the game warmed me up to turn based combat and anime games, I'd never played neither before and thought they looked stupid. Sorry for the wall of text, english is my 3rd language.

I have like 277 games AND IT DON'T HIT LIKE IT USED TOO Edit: i found the solution, do a gaming detox, its like don't play for like 1 week or 90 days then come back, its supposed to cure your dopamine when you ain't playing.
Best thing I learned is to get out of your comfort zone, find a game you wouldn’t normally play. Those ended up being the most fun and opened the door to so many more interesting games that re lit my motivation to play whatever
Same thing happened to me with persona 5 royal, a turn-based anime game, id never played neither genre and hadn't previously wanted to either, but I ended up investing the full 100 hours required to finish the game. Persona 5 royal was so amazing it convinced me its not the games fault I'm bored, it's just me 😅
That's the age coming on. There's games that I have loved for years maybe a decade and you'll go back to them and play for a little while then it just gets old really fast.
Talk to everyone, games just aren’t the same and technology isn’t improving exponentially like it did from regular Nintendo and sega genesis up on through N64 and PlayStation up to what we have now. It’s a cultural thing happening too. Everything is played out. We should be flying to the friggin moon to jump around on weekends by now.

Legit feel this way on xbox and playstation...tbh xbox game pass is 1000x better than playstation subscription. No lie tho even if i pick a game i still stop playing after like 20 minutes.
I switched and built a pc, console gaming is feeling more and more dead with every new release. I was hype for b06 until I saw it’s gonna literally take up 320gb of my storage space. Consoles are getting more advanced but they just don’t hit the same
