  • To keep our streak of transatlantic business class reviews going, we are flying Singapore Airlines from Frankfurt (FRA) to New York (JFK). In the last video, we covered the outbound leg from JFK, which was excellent - but how will the ground experience at FRA compare to the ground experience at JFK? Can Singapore go 2 for 2 and live up to their reputation of being the world's second best airline?? Join me to find out!!

You do a really good job of bringing the viewer along for the ride without sounding like a pretentious tool. All of the information that a potential traveler would want to know is there, & it's not too long of a review that would cause one to skip over the entire thing. Nicely done, sir.

Well done Job Flaps. Speaking of SQ25 and the later SQ23 it has connections to the Philippines on SQ910 towards MNL and CEB via DVO on SQ906 which is why a Filipino Traveler will pick it over PR127. On JFK/EWR-FRA segment I would see this as LH (These are EWR-FRA LH403/402 & JFK-FRA LH400/401) = SQ 25/26 > UA 960/961. On your flight you have UA Star Alliance Gold with SQ Star Alliance gold members with the UA Star Alliance Gold choosing it over their own offering. Same also applies to UA Star Alliance Gold actually picking Air Canada Signature Class over UA Polaris

Great video. I recently flu Singapore airlines on this exact route, but unfortunately they don’t operate the A380 on this route anymore but the flight was still fantastic and the crew absolutely made the flight

It’s sad that SQ is removing the A380 from this route 😢 Was planning an amazing long haul from SIN to JFK.
Great review btw! Earn a sub!

@@flaps1019 Wouldn’t mind either! But still prefer the big bird, as we do not know how long more airlines are going to keep them flying. Ah! That was unexpected! Thank you for stopping by ☺️

Yes, A380 is quieter than A350. At least the upper deck is, especially further forward.

I flew SQ21 business class last year (2022) EWR-SIN for formula 1 race. I have already booked the flight 3x for 2023. To Singapore, then SIN-BKK Thailand, and on my way to Bali on another trip. Thing is…. I’m a United 1k. Although a star alliance partner, all the PQP’s do not go to United. Thing is… I don’t care, I’ll lose 1k this year, but it doesn’t matter. I recently flew home from Thailand on ANA, then NRT to EWR on United. United business class, hard product is a b+, but I give SOFT product an F! There is no reason for me to spend my money on United again until they improve their product. This means…drink carts back, ice cream Sunday carts back, good, hot inflight snacks ie grilled cheese and tomato soup, not the crap they currently serve.

Wow - you are a regular on EWR-SIN! I'm jealous - that route is on my bucket list. And I've heard the same things about United lately.

For the EWR-SIN flight its SQ21 not SQ20. Speaking of UA Star Alliance Gold 1k you should have access to SQ lounges in SIN except for the First Class SQ lounge same with BKK TG Royal Orchid Lounges. However SQ and TG Star Alliance Gold members get to access UA Clubs in Domestic routes but not you.
Regarding your EWR-SIN flight you have travelers bound to MNL on SQ918 SIN-MNL. In my family my mother was supposed to do it but chose SQ competitor PR for their direct flight PR127 to MNL. *Service wise on SIN-MNL SQ910 & 918 > PR507 due to SQ having a better product* On that part of the world South China Sea and Northeast Asia Star Alliance SQ OZ TG BR NH Skyteam KE & CI Oneworld JL CX MH > PR

@@EpicThe112 edited, it was a typo. As an FYI, Flew it 2 weeks ago. I was so pissed that security would not let me through in terminal C at EWR to use Polaris lounge as I always have in the past. I checked my bags in at terminal B, Singapore airlines, then took tram to terminal C, as I usually do. TSA would not let me go through security without a “United boarding pass”,:I then went to global services desk. Global services at United told me I do have access to Polaris with SQ business class ticket, but would have to go back to terminal B, go through security, and then take shuttle post security to terminal C. And SURPRISE! Shuttle in terminal B would not let me board shuttle,Mae they stated that my flight left from terminal B (which I knew).. long story short…..I couldn’t get into Polaris lounge after 2 hours, gave up and boarded flight
