    Thanks for making this dude. The controller placement under the wheel is genius, was worried there'd be no space for that wide boy but you found the perfect spot 👍

    Do you know the part number for that Blitz sandwich? Don't see it in your description.

    Hi bro super nice fitment one question, how and where you sent wires to gauges at engine? Its difficult?

      Hey each gauge comes with a sensor. You need to install the sensor where it needs to go. My oil temp sensor is going into oil pan drain bolt using an adaptor. Oil pressure sensor going into a sandwich plate for my oil cooler. Boost gauge is T'ed off on a vacuum line

    question about using the seeker pod for the Defi 52 mm racer gauge. Would a 52mm to 60 mm adapter work so that it can fit the 52 mm gauge in the seeker pod? I'm just wondering if it will look weird. On the GTI, Osir pod had a 60mm pod and people put the 52 mm racer gauge in it which looks great.

      It should work. The pods hold the gauge with just friction. It's a really snug fit for 60mm gauge so that it'll stay in place. I googled some 52 to 60mm gauge pod adapters and they should work.

    Sorry, I am new to this. Do you have to remove your oil temp sensor everytime you do an oil change or is that a different port. I have yet to get under my ctr as oil changes are still under warranty. just doing some research before I pull the trigger on some new parts.

      The wire for the oil temp sensor is about 12" long before it meets a connector to an extension wire that goes all the way to the inside of the car. So I just disconnect the connector and then remove the oil drain plug/temp sensor together. It's just 1 extra step of disconnecting it first.

    Nice gauges bro? Wondering whats the normal degree on the oil press gauge for our FK8?

      the oil temps take about twice as long as water temps to get up to operating temp. A lot of people don't realize this and go hard on the motor when they see the water gauge is up. oil temps sit around 80 C and if I do really hard driving with a lot of pulls or track it hits 100 C but my oil cooler kicks in and drops it down to around 90 C. The oil pressure gauge shows 6 bar because the car is technically revving a little to warm up. Once warm it should settle down to 2 bar. Only during acceleration it goes back up to 6 bar. It shouldn't ever drop below 1 bar so that's where I've got my warning beep set to go off at.

    Also what accessories do we need for the turbo gauge too? thx

      @Kodawari.FK8  Год назад

      Hey, if you buy defi 2 Bar gauge it'll come with the T connector and hose to tap into vacuum line. If you get 3 Bar gauge, it doesn't come with the hose and connector. 4mm three way joint and hose should be like 10-15$

    Do you really need all these gauges? Is it recommended to have all these mods?

    • @Kodawari.FK8
      @Kodawari.FK8  Год назад

      Oil pressure and oil temperature are very important on turbo cars and these cars didn't come with those sensors from the factory. It's recommended if you want to look better, accelerate better, brake better, turn better lol

    Legendary! Question... with your 1x gauge on the Left side .. can you see the left Vent while driving? I am basically wondering if one could run the P3 Gauges vent LED display at the same time or if the Pod physical blocks line of sight to that position.. (*also yes an ODB splitter would be necessary and "YMMV" in that setup, may not play nice) Thank you!

      Hey! Just went and sat in the car. Left vent is still clearly visible.
