- One of the three suspects arrested and accused in last year's rock-throwing death of Alexa Bartell appeared in Jefferson County Court on Friday.
I kind of figured this guy would go this route. Kwak seemed like he was the new kid in town who befriended the wrong guys and went WAY too far trying to be part of the group. That said, he's certainly partially responsible for this tragedy and needs to do a significant amount of prison time for his spectacularly bad judgement.
Koenig is the one who seems like the evil little "mastermind" of the group and is completely unremorseful. His father seems like a real piece of work himself and it's probably no big wonder why Koenig ended up here. He should be the one who does the most time...perhaps the rest of his life.
I'm not so sure about Karol-Chik yet. He's possibly a dumb-as-a-bag-of-hammers follower who was talked into stuff easily - or he was Koenig's nearly-equal partner in crime. Nevertheless, he needs to do big time as well.

The fact the prosecutors offered pleas to the 2 they did says a lot about who they didn’t
This beautiful young woman still had her entire life in front of her. Alexa lost her life to these 3 monsters. I hope they give Kwak the entire 32 years!!! And I pray that the other two get even more time. They all really do deserve no less than life, but then again, this is Colorado, and Colorado has soft on crime policies.
I hate plea bargains. He would have been convicted at trial and sentenced to life. Now he will be free in probably 5 years
Yep, Colorado Governor has soft on crime policies. This is absolutely why there is no more law and order in Colorado
