@neckarsulme it depends on the injury. It's either assault or aggravated assault. She was in a vehicle, so that is what makes it aggravated assault. When you use a deadly weapon, which was the patrol car , that is what makes it aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

@@Morris1974she took him to the hospital so the whole thing could be swept under the rug. So an ambulance wasn’t dispatched. Did she call it in to dispatch when it happened? She was involved in an accident in a City vehicle. (Officers always say they are on duty 24/7 which is a ‘slight’ justification they can carry a gun off duty. So technically even if off duty she was on duty- because police can’t have it both ways. Taking him to the hospital she is with him and there is pressure by presence for him not to talk and for her to manipulate the narrative.

What does someone being after him have to do with the type of vehicle she was riding in??? Those are two totally different issues that are clearly unrelated in the way the lawyer is choosing to explain this case. I'm pretty sure the pastor is testifying that she specifically was in the car he saw her in and definitively can say she was the one who attempted to run him over which is 1st degree attempted murder by the way punishable for up to fived years in state prison.
The lawyer here is choosing to play sloppy word games in an attempt to completely exsolve her client from her role in the pastors near death experience caused by the lieutenant. The key issue that must be realized here in this case is that if the lieutenant is 100% totally innocent then why does she even need a nonsense lawyer to speak for her in the first place? If you haven't done anything wrong then one can simply tell their story how it actually happened with no backup because it's the actual truth no more no less. In all honesty only guilty people need lawyer's to represent them when they know they have messed up, I Promise You That!!!!!🤔
