- ( www.TFLcar.com ) The 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320 is meant as a bona fide drag racing machine, with technology from the mighty Demon that makes it the fastest naturally-aspirated street-legal muscle car.
Just in time for the NHRA Nationals, we also take a closer look at the upcoming Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody.

The 1320 with the right driver is no joke. That 392 has all the supporting mods around it. Solid video.
Dodge has there shit together. I've always been a gm guy. But dam come on Camaro
Catch up
Joshua psalm 144 1 did you hear the rumors that camaros are gonna be discontinued.
Dodge does not have their shit together they dont even own themselves anymore lol
@@dailytitan8379 no automaker owns themselves
@@TheRagingsayin I heard. They even put the Silverado in 3ard place for the 1st time. I will still be a gm guy. But I'll say you get alot for your money going mopar
lee hancock dodge was owned by Chrysler and is now owner by fiat.
Props to buddy for not missing a beat when that loud music kicked in
Great video
I love crazy loud colors‼️ Dodge has the best color way options for their cars💯💯 one of my favorite is destroyer grey and plum crazy purple🔥🔥🔥
Marauder Man they don’t make either of them anymore for 2020.
Door Kicker whattt😱 i think the olive green color is Available in 2020 i love that color too💯
Green is available. I’m going with Mango 🥭 in a wide body. Whenever we get out of this mess.
Door Kicker yea thats a nice color too💯 but yea once everything goes back to normal im really considering getting a 2018 or 2019 hellcat in olive green💪🏽💯
Smoke show is the new destroyer grey. Check out the 5.7 Daytona charger I owned.
Took mine to the track for the second time today(3rd time ever), and ran a 12.0, super happy with it.
Just ran an 11.6
@@goodinsrt8 I have a 2022 6 speed scat pack. What will it run stock?
Ok so just purchased my 1320 2020 Challenger. And yes it's the not wide body it's in the sinomin stick color. Still in break in mode. Has all the options you can get including a sun roof. Except the hood pins. And it came stock with the 275 20 40s drag radials. Nexen perilli tires.
Niceeee follow @mr.angrybee
What a nice car! Killin the game
Beautiful 😍
if dodge would get these cars under 4-k....they would be so much more competetive.
scott barker
I agree other than an aluminum block I don’t know where. But would love to see them around 37-3800 lbs be Very scary to camaro and mustang
Robbie Frentz The use of carbon fiber, removal of sound deadening material in certain spots, a lighter aluminum block (like you mentioned), a lighter exhaust system, and lighter wheels would help to MAYBE get a Challenger to just under 4K lbs (3,9XX lbs). I think to reach 3,700 and still be a comfortable and street legal ride they would need a completely new chassis/unibody.
That's the BEST thing I EVER HAD! -> 7:02 1973 STYX....and a 1320 ! AT Bandimere....lol. Best time 12.1 with a (rare).000 RT !!! I Live on the Green Mountain or the right.! Last year for Badimere so I'm getting my runs in !!
Im gonna make 11s with my 5.7 RT. Buts man thats a nice car! if there is any stock 1320s that want to run me at the track let me know! and thumbs up!
"grass roots racer" Costs more than my life is even worth.
Those numbers are crazy considering how it’s a big ship
11.7....ya, not at Bandimere at 6000 feet....
One guy did the quarter in 11.48 seconds with a blue 1320. On RUclips.
@@Spunky-iq8jm link?
Notice the Nexen drag radials on the back. Are those stock?
Brian Millican yes
That widebody Hellcat charger is not going to run 3.6 0 to 60 and 10 9 quarter on those Street tires🤣
Will Weld Racing skinnys and back wheels fit on the 1320? If so, what model and size?
Actually check out billet specialties as they have a 17x4 front and a 18x9.5 rear win lite billet wheel that’s awesome.. Check out Carlyle racing as well as they have some pics of them mounted on a challenger..
Really nice..
@@CFLJAMES but dont we have to get new brake system? will 17s fit stock brakes?...
It comes with 485HP. If you put on a Whipple or Edelbrock supercharger, how much HP could it make???
Michael Wilcox - Vortex has a supercharger for the stock 392. They claim 730hp at the crank.
No forged internals so be careful...
Would cost the same as a lightly used Hellcat.
Did they finally ditch their iron block for an aluminum one?
Coyote 5.5 V8 Mustang & 555 Big Block Chevy Camaro no
Unfortunately no. I don’t understand it myself. The pentastar v6 is all aluminum so I don’t know what the issue is. Hell they even make an mopar performance aluminum block for the early Gen 3 and the VVT engines so the aluminum block has been engineered, they just haven’t put it in production.
@@ScoopDaddy488 SHAME. 50-75 lbs seating in the nose of those cars doing nothing but hurting the car's performance.
It's hard for me to understand that.
As a lifetime Mopar muscle enthusiast, I love the car and am very pleased that FCA is focusing on their performance minded customers. But it would have been totally awesome if they could have offered it as the TA 1320, and feel that it was a missed opportunity. Although the really awesome sticker package one had been out for a few years prior, and was a missed opportunity on that one as well. Other than some really cool stickers, the so-called ta is basically just a Scat Pack with some really cool stickers on it and wish that they would have used the iconic name for something like this beautiful beast instead. I'm sure that other OG Mopar guys would agree
Scatpack with cool stickers? It basically has a Demon suspension with trans brake and all kinds of add ons. Wrong.
Wish it came with 2 keys a red one and black red with 525hp and black with 485
what? why??? why would you want 2 separate keys for a 40 hp difference?
I have a grandnational stock internals bigger turbo downpipe and bigger injectors, hotwire fuel pump 450hp 550 tourqe low to mid 11 quarter mile.
5.0 killer
Can you get a 1320 widebody ?!
No
i love all mopars an would never own anything else, but no thanx on a very heavy 4 door charger, but in a year or so i bet they all may get near 1000 pounds lighter, an hope lose the other 2 doors,i mean, its a fun, drag car, come on dodge, really...
Put a turbo on this car this car going to fly
Darius Hope and it’s gonna blow up
Nice you can see the crappy orange peel paint job from Dodge
Mopar
Dodge needs to bring out new product! This is the age of the corvette C8
I agree. I did see somewhere that they were concerned. A survey identified a majority of people wanted it to stay basically the same. They were worried they would have to deviate too far from the original Challenger like Chevy did with the Camaro going too far from the 69 Camaro. They thought the Mustang was going too far as well. I really have no opinion on any of those comments or vehicles. Just saying what I had read.
It’s coming 2022
Hal 1000 - nice!
What the? What the?? There’s always room for improvements. At least get the weight down! I’m a big mopar guy but it’s time for a change at dodge
Hal 1000 “allegedly”
Ok ill say what everyone is thinking *Corvette C8 Z51 > widebody hellcat* lol
Just another challenger with options
@@2010challengerRT so the 1320 is a charger?????
@@rggt6225
No. Two different cars.
@@Spunky-iq8jm no stuff 🤔
The mustang still can’t go in a straight line and it’s still ugly.
@@RomanM803 how is it that a mustang with less power walk a hellcat and I mean like 100 hp less shit even 200 hp explain that just face it you wont live at the track and they are way over priced for what you are getting same interior since 2015 same car same engine and trans smh
kill the annoying musick, please..
beefed up fiat
Faster than a Tesla Model 3 performance, but slower than a P100D Ludicrous. Not bad for a noisy, stinky polluting inefficient piston car.
Sorry snowflake
@@leehancock2782 I drive an AWD Model 3, not the performance version. Occasionally I smoke people at red lights in silent bliss. Never had anything that fast. Then I put it on autopilot, and cruise along at 4 cents a mile fuel cost. No oil changes, don't have to go to the gas station. Sorry you aren't as lucky.
@@fjalics Doesnt it give you performance anxiety?🤣🤣🤣
The Charger sounds great. It doesn't stink at all, and 22 mpg from a 707 hp V8 is not inefficient. I'm sorry that your car is so boring to drive that you feel the need to use autopilot. But you made your choice. Now go away.
