It was lots of fun and I also loved the 2d animation was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! So much nostalgia!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ☺️
I love it! I have watched it so many times already.😂
Happy thanksgiving to my favorite Billy
Happy thanksgiving Franklin
Happy Thanksgiving
You recognize Nancy's voice (dark haired queen of Andalasia) because she is the voice of Elsa from Frozen 1 and 2
She’s a very famous broadway actress that’s why she can sing like that she was in rent and wicked
yessss she’s the og elphaba (wicked) and maureen (rent) on broadway 💚
Idina menzel.
The queen of Arandelle and Andalasia!
@@-i_own_you_- Idina menzel
I think it's hilarious how offended you were that Robert didn't die. 🤣
🤣
He was Robert to die so bad 😂
It irks me just a tad that people think Robert didn't have his own story arc just because he wasn't with Giselle for most of the film.
If you pay attention to what he's actually doing in his scenes, you'd see that is not true at all.
Taking the train was him realizing keeping his job in the city is taking him even further away from his family, when they moved away from the city to avoid exactly that.
First try at being a hero comes in the form of a dragon. He does exactly what every prince does, and gets tossed out on his ass, thwarted by someone blocking the cave with a rock, under advisement he should give up being a prince altogether.
Second attempt is a giant. He tries tripping the giant with a rope, and the giant proceeds to drag him through town with said rope. But the second he gets free, a little girl cries out for help, and he's just in time to save her from being crushed to death, and assure her she's going to be okay.
He tries to rebuke the girls parents claims that he is a hero, because he didn't stop the giant, but the parents still insisted.
And that right there is the whole arc: he doesn't need to be a prince charming. He just needs to be there for his family.
Him stopping the clock was him using his lawyer logic. The spell would be permanent after the CLOCK struck 12, not when it was actually midnight.
That is the arc, and ended with him opening a practice locally
And him actually saving the day by stopping the clock was a legal thing. He stopped trying to be a prince and used his lawyer logic. The thing said at the least stroke of midnight, and he used the wording to their advantage.
👏🏻👏🏻
@@NeonAnt Smart connection! You’re right!
For those who didn’t realize the three fairies who took care of Giselle’s baby are a reference from the fairies of Maleficent
Yes! They are Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. That’s why when they introduce themselves they say they’re “great with naps.” A nod to Sleeping Beauty.
I didn't know that but makes sense thanks for pointing that out
Yes!! Also the things in the kitchen being alive is supposed to match beauty and the beast Also the song "love power" comes the leafs going around Is supposed to match pocahontas 💖🖤
Amy Adams does an incredible job!!! Her "split personality " scene before she pushed Morgan down the well ,is so so good!! You could tell she really had fun with this roll!!! And the love power song that Nancy sings is now added to my fav disney songs list! It's such a beautiful song
What I really loved from the Disenchanted movie was the fact that the soundtrack really made you feel that you were in a fairy tale. Also, the beautiful moral of the movie which was that even though a woman didn't give you birth, if she raised you, she is your mom. I loved it.
You mean the soundtrack that sounded like it had lyrics written by an untalented 9 year old
Billy bringing up Frozen not realizing he’s listening to Elsa’s voice is hilarious lol 😝
Watch closely for the moment a bucket of water splashes behind Morgan as she sings, a direct parallel to the waves splashing up as Ariel sings "Part of Your World" in "The Little Mermaid."
There are SOO many of those easter eggs! For example, when morgans dress transforms she does the exact same as cinderella does
That’s pretty cool with the references lol 😂 Ariel little mermaid 🧜♀️ lol 😂 and Cinderella lol 😂 with Morgan lol 😂
Yes! Definitely a Little Mermaid moment.
Still a little sus in that placement, real life translations are insane lol
I watched the movie yesterday and there really were so many easter eggs in it lol
At the market, someone calls out, "Sugar dates, figs and pistachios!"
This is a line from Aladdin, when Jasmine is walking through town in disguise.
Giselle's outfit is even reminiscent of the disguise Jasmine dons to escape the palace.
"Why does her voice sound familiar?" 😂 Nancy is played by Idina Menzel, an extremely famous Broadway performer, most well known for her performances in shows like Wicked and Rent, who then went on to voice Elsa in Frozen 1 and 2. She was an A-list singer/actress even back during Enchanted and they did a HUGE disservice by not giving her anything to sing in that first movie. So that's why her voice is super familiar, even to non-Broadway fans. She's the voice of Elsa and her voice is very recognizable.
She is in my favorite play too she’s in Rent and killed itttt
The coloring of the gardeners costumes is a nod to Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, the three good fairies from "Sleeping Beauty."
Yes!
During the shopping scene, which is a bittersweet callback to Giselle and Morgan's shopping trip in "Enchanted," you'll notice mannequins wearing the dresses of other Disney princesses.
Just to clarify, Robert did have a plan when he and Tyson ran up to the clock tower. The condition was "on the last stroke of midnight" the spell would become permanent. That's why they went to force the clock to stop to prevent the last chime.
YES! I’ve been waiting for this one! Personally, I enjoyed Disenchanted a lot. Lots of funny and magical moments, but still not more than the first one. The original is such a damn classic. I did love that the brought back the OG cast. It had that nostalgic feel to it when I watched Enchanted as a little children. Looking forward to this!!!❤️
Totally agree. I love this movie soo damn much.
The opening credits have a ton of Disney references. Some of them go by so quickly that you could blink and miss them entirely, while others are more obvious. As the classic Disney intro plays, the castle becomes an animated Andalasian palace. As we move past those familiar turrets and towers, we see what appears to be a young Prince Philip from "Sleeping Beauty" crossing a bridge with his parents. Moving further into Andalasia, we see a busy baker carrying his tray like always, a nod to "Beauty and the Beast," and a character who looks like Little Bo Peep. The troll who chased Giselle into Edward's arms in the first movie is back, too.
We see a baby warthog that looks like Pumbaa (Ernie Sabella) from "The Lion King" and a firefly that resembles Ray (Jim Cummings) from "The Princess and the Frog."
The rest of the movie has a ton too. The whole ball thing, with the stepmother ripping the dress, is from cinderella. Climbing down the tower is tangled, morgans song in the town where water splashes behind her is a nod to the little mermaid ‘‘part of that world'', the be my guest remix is beauty and the beast, along with the talking furniture. The magic mirror is snow white and the giant that robert ‘‘fought'' is from Jack and the beanstalk, the vines as well. I think there was a sword in the stone reference too but I'm not sure.
Edit: OH! Almost forgot! The Flora, Fauna and Merryweather cameo or character designs for the fairy henchwomen as a reference to sleeping beauty. Also I felt that the Love Power scene was like frozen yes but it also felt like colors of the wind to me, from Pocahontas, the willow tree of memories too. It's like the big wise willow that guided Pocahontas to the siege and gave her advice.
I’ve seen a a lot of reviews saying that disenchanted wasn’t good, but they say that for every sequel.
This one was good and I’m a sucker for musicals so I loved it, especially the villain song ( I loved Giselles Peacock dress so much)
But yeah this was a really pleasant surprise after cleaning today and I’m glad you did this because this is one of my favorite sequel movie
The peacock dress was my favorite outfit in the movie I found myself just staring at Amy Adams the whole way through that song bc she looked so good 🤣
I understand a little why people don’t like it but not completely I loved it 😭🙏🏾
@@jeidamartin5496 she looked fabulous istg
Yeah I dont understand why there are so many negative reviews. I thought it was very good.
The story and the acting was good. But the costumes and production design feels cheap, especially when compared to other live-action Disney movies (where everything is usually super extravagant and looks expensive af)
My sister and I spent the entire movie trying to figure out if the baby was an adult actor trapped in a baby’s body or CGI like something outta Breaking Dawn, because how is the timing of her eyes so good?! 😂
I thought it was a solid sequel and Idina’s solo gave me all the Show Yourself vibes and took me back to seeing her on Broadway in 2014
While I don't think anything can quite recapture the magic of the original one I do think that this was the only sequel they could make that would've worked. Also, as a stepchild myself I LOVED the element of validating that love between a stepparent and stepchild as just as good. I also liked Giselle and Morgan's relationship - even in that bad after school moment and the mounting tension leading up to it you could see just how much Morgan really does love her - and that it really was about 'the power of love' in an interesting but new way. A solid time for sure!
Drop Dead Gorgeous, Atlantis: The Lost Empire and The Family Stone for #Bingers
The family stone is my favorite movie for the Christmas
Shrek 2?
This movie got me when they added an Idina Menzel ballad because they did me dirty by not having the Broadway QUEEN sing in the first one. Lol Disenchanted could do no wrong after that song.
I don’t know Badder before that slapped. Been a while since we had a good old villain song.
It’s understandable but I think I saw that Idina appreciated it because she was hired for her acting and not singing
I read there was supposed to be a Nancy song in the first one but it got cut and I said "for what?"
If you like Idina Menzel in this movie you should watch the musical Wicked with her in it! She’s amazing!
Or RENT! lol
That would be illegal :-) lol
@@MusicalMiranda82 He should watch a wicked slime tutorial 😉
Can’t legally
Amy Addams (Giselle) acted so well ! Loved how she switches between innocent & villain.
"They want to go back to Hell!"
As a NYer who's moved and come back multiple times I can't even argue 💀😂😂😂
When Morgan was singing and there was a splash behind her, that was a reference to the little mermaid
I really like this movie it was like if Wandavision and once upon a time had a baby I feel like if they ever make a series of enchanted I feel like they should like have Morgan and Sophia go on a journey to andalasia to find their own fairy tale
So many Disney Easter egg moments like during the dancing scene after Giselle awakes to Monroe/Andalasia there’s a girl wearing an outfit similar to Esmeralda’s and a guy with an outfit that would be in Beauty and the Beast.
Memories do have power- Rise of the Guardians Tooth Fairy collects teeth for the memories within.
"That lady can sing," but "why do I recognize her voice?"- Billy about Idina
The guy Robert talks to on the train is the Genie from the original Broadway show of Aladdin
Glad somebody else got this as well! Such a phenomenal talent!
omg YESSS i was looking for this comment!! ❤
Ahh I’m loving all the Easter eggs, I didn’t know this one, thank you!
"if it breeds it needs to work" sounds like every Mexican father i never had lmfaoooo
Well I said breathe but dang this comment went left 😂
@@BillyBinges lmfaoooooo oops
Am I the only one who notices Nancy and Edward don’t look like they are in love they just respect each other, because their “first” loves were like taken from them?
Progeny means offspring. He’s basically saying “congrats on the new baby”
You should watch Ratatouille! It is so wholesome and sweet! 😊 It is one of the best disney movies ever made 💗 #bingers
😊💖❤️💕
This movie is amazing, watched it on Friday. Disney did such an amazing job with it. The first one is my favorite out of the two but I do love this one. Definitely a 8 or 9 out of 10. The woman who plays Nacy & was singing that song and the song at the end is Idina Menzel. She did Elsa’s voice in both frozen movies. Would love to see you react to the 1960s Swiss Family Robinson and The Sound of Music.
They really snapped with this!🤩Once I heard a news about a sequel I just knew it was going to be good!💖 I also absolutely loved that they had all of the main original cast, especially morgan. 👏🏾
💖❤️💕
But the actress playing Morgan wasn't in the first movie.
@@nonyabusiness3619 what? oh dang! so the article I read was wrong😭they definitely looked similar that's why I was convinced it was her lol
@@laylag.4219 Yeah, they did a great job recasting Morgan with an actress who looked just like the original. I was convinced it was the same girl too. But the original Morgan does make a cameo in this movie, so technically the entire original cast is still there.
@@nonyabusiness3619 yesss! I just read a new article from a credible source, and it said that she’s not acting anymore. I’m still glad she was apart of it even if it was just a cameo. I have to look out for her when I watch it again☺️
The way how Edward was like: “Are you poor now?”
The Blonde lady that’s one of the two evil minions, she’s from Glee. She was the germaphobe counselor 💀
I appreciate the dude who plays the prince, to be able to play this character like it was back then. 👏👏👏👏
You mean James Marsden?
Malvina's minions are references to Drizella and Anastasia, Cinderella's stepsisters. When I noticed the green and pink dresses I knew right away 🤣
Disney did recast the original Morgan. The little girl in the first movie can be seen when Giselle is walking through the market.
Really, wow
I find it funny that he says he likes the name Andalasia and another reactor said it sounds like the name of a type of rash. lol
That was mello who said that 😂
Nancy's singing voice sounds familiar because Idina Menzel is also the voice of Elsa in Frozen and Frozen II. :)
As a new yorker, billy you are correct but i personally see it as living in a fever dream LMAOOO
I loved this movie so much!!! So much!!! So glad to see you reacting to this movie. Great reaction as always Billy.
The one who sang Love Power (Idina Menzel) is the voice of Elsa from Frozen, that's why it was familiar to you.
She is also a Broadway star.
Did you know Disenchanted was filmed here in my country Ireland. It was filmed mostly in Enniskerry Co Wicklow and in the UK(due to a bad test screening).
Billy! The singer is Idina Menzel from Broadway (Rent, Wicked) and both Frozen movies (Elsa). She is a powerhouse!
He said "shout out to MalNeficent" 🤣 so close sir almost correct and "Jingle Bells" I can't
The clock in Monroeville is a Once Upon a Time reference
Yeh Nancy be Defying Gravity with her voice.- yupp….yuuup
Trust me, I was Over the Moon when I heard it. To this day I still can’t Let it Go 😂
Most of the shop names are Disney references. Pay close attention and you'll see Beauty and the Book, Smee's Cheese, The Royal Sip, Mary Popover's Bakery, Bibidi Bobidi Butcher's, and Lumiere's Candle Works.
The Badder song is an ABSOLUTE BANGER I love it so much I rewinded and rewatched it three times before finishing the movie. Also I cried like a little baby I admit I was already fragile but it was EMOTIONAL
I like that he was personally hurt that Robert lived and didn't realize nancy was Elsa after saying it was similar
I live for the movies with songs cause Billy waving his hands saying Hallelujah is the best. He gets it😂
Me too 😂
I really love when you watch this movies and have no idea of the disney princesses it is so funny 🤣
I actually didn't catch that Giselle finally sang the right song to Morgan at the end until you mentioned it! I just thought it was another song for the moment but I love that you noticed that!!
I think its funny even with her singing a big song you couldn't tell she's Elsa from Frozen 😅😆😆 you even mentioned it sounded like Frozen 2 hahaha Idina Menzel
Billy aren't you full of surprises. Thank you
35:08 because it's FREAKING Idina Menzel!! she voiced Elsa from Frozen & she played Elphaba in the original cast of Wicked on broadway
One of the movers is played by Matt Servitto, who also appeared in Enchanted as one of the guys by the manhole cover
Awww enchanted was the first video of yours I saw. Now I'm hooked on this channel.
I can't help but like this movie, despite its shortcomings, simply because it has good family values which are soooo rare today. Like it's about a mother and a father and a daughter all trying to find happiness in life. It embraces femininity too in a way so rarely seen in modern films.
Like, Giselle is an unapologetically feminine woman who cares and nurtures and sees the best in everyone, almost to a fault. And little Morgan was such a girly girl who LOVED that Giselle was a Magical Princess, but now that she is a teenager, finding her own identity and being shaped by the world around her, she gets embarrassed by her mom being a magic princess. The world has told her to "grow up" and reject femininity and magic. And on top of that, Morgan is not Giselle's flesh and blood, not like Sofia is, and so she believes she can never have the same magic since she is not from Andalasia.
Giselle who is already generally tired of the way the world treats people, sees Morgan pulling away and is hurt. This causes Giselle to loose her positive outlook in life, and she decides to control things by grasping power for herself... but in desiring to make a perfectly controlled world she falls into selfishness, vanity, cruelty, and endless ambition and looses herself. Basically, she becomes a girlboss, but she's more miserable than ever before.
It is up to her family, particularly Morgan, to save her by remembering and cherishing the familial bonds they have.
At the same time we see the modern man's quest for purpose as he attempts to provide for his family in a world where there are no dragons to slay (vs. one where there ARE dragons to slay and his life is at risk).
What I took from this movie was basically: reject feminism, embrace femininity, have a family, THIS is your greatest purpose in life.
Dude😮… personally, it just pleased me reading this. This is a great way to look at this movie😊
She sounds familiar singing and it reminds you of frozen cause she’s actually elsa
My little brother really likes Elsa from frozen, so I predicted nancy would be his favorite enchanted/disenchanted character too😂 (Elsa’s voice-actor)
33::29 Tinker Bell. Like 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy'. Peter Pan calls her 'Tink' - but I think he's the only one who's allowed to do that.
Anyone else notice the easter eggs to other Disney Princess stories? Lol
Indina Menzel (who plays Nancy) also voiced Elsa from Frozen!
Haha!! Love this reaction
Also Nancy "the dark haired girl with pink dress" is the voice of elsa from frozen&frozen 2 this movie was magical & filled with alottt like how the 3 people that took care of the baby was supposed to match the 3 fairies from sleeping beauty there are so many hidden details and references to this wonderful movie ♡U Billy
It's so nice seeing people enjoy this movie instead of just hating on it for no real reason.
Its a little bit of a let down but its still great
The 2hrs I just spent watching the movie so I could watch this was worth it…you definitely made it better
Morgan is the teenager Billy
Nancy was played by Idina Menzel. She was the original Maureen in Rent, Elphaba in Wicked, and the voice of Elsa in Frozen
12:26 has me rolling "They both dressed like blow pops" directly from left field
billy's laugh is so funny and contagious, when he laughs i have to laugh, love you billy
You should watch A Star Is Born. #bingers ❤ that movie
I absolutely loved this movie, in my opinion it was better than the 1st movie. Also Billy, I would recommend that you watch the movie "Into the Woods", a 2014 film. It is basically a combination of multiple fairytale, which I believe are: "Cinderella", "Jack and the Beanstalk", "Tangled (or Rapunzel, however you call it)", "Red riding hood". Also a couple that are bakers are put into the movie, I don't know if they also represent a fairytale or not as well. The movie has a lot of songs, so it is a bit of a musical, but a lot happens in the movie. I hope you consider watching this movie, and if you don't, oh well. But if you do end up watching the movie I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Thanks for reading. 😁 #bingers
19:14 If we did a revue we’re gonna add that “Be our guest, get your worries off your chest…” verse before going into the finale
Great reaction Billy!!!! Love to sit back with my water and enjoy
Billy the reason why the memories song reminded you of frozen it’s because Nancy plays Elsa
yesssss i was waiting for you to react to this!!! 😊
Loved this movie it made me cry for Giselle!
Enchanted was my favourite movie as a child and as a teen I could very well say that I'm happy with part 2
36:10 I learned the hard way when I was four or five - never pull a cats tail.
Anything they can get Idina to sing in Is amazing. That women has the pipes!
I must have been watching you too long because as soon as i clicked on your video I went and filled my water bottle before you said a word! Loved this movie and love watching your reactions to it!
Love your videos billy you are literally so underrated!!!!!!!

*attempting to mimic giselle*
I loved Disenchanted
Yay! I have been waiting for you to watch this movie since it came out a few days ago.😂
7:52 have you ever seen Glee? She was Ms. Pilsbury the guidance consoler that had OCD 😄
I’ve actually met the guy playing Morgan’s love interest I was at the mall in my town with my friends and he just came walking off the escalators and we started freaking out bc we were 13 and obsessed with his show some assembly required
35:09 her voice sounds familiar because that’s Elsa from Frozen 🎶 Let it go, Let it go 🎶
Wait! Hold the phone! The guy singing at 26:34 ish. I know that voice! He sounds like the guy who played the genie on Broadway Aladdin!
Edit: It is!!!! It’s him!!!!!
I love that, I thought his voice was fantastic.
You singing your last words legit had me crying laughing. Loved the reaction!
27:06 That wasn’t just a random splash, that was the Ariel scene
Happy Thanksgiving, and 👍 on the Roxanne t-shirt
Your description in the title is spot on.
The Road to El Dorado please! Aslso The Last Unicorn would be such a fun throwback. XD
Happy Thanksgiving, as always, thank you for being part of the " good stuff" that I hunt for.
I ain't even gone hold you Billy you really hit that 🎶 Won't it🎶
I finally watched this movie today! I LOVED the first one and it was never going to be as good as that and it definitely struggled at times but it was good fun and i got a bit more into it as it went on. All the disney movie easter eggs were great and everyone singing was great. Glad Idina got a big song this time. Generally wasn't super into the songs they all sounded kinda similar and some lyrics were a bit dodgy to fit a rhyme but a couple went hard and were fun and the Amy Addams and Maya Rudolph duet was a BANGER! That was a fun one!
