Brother, my family are from Tabriz, but why north Azerbaijan disregards their Iranian ethnicity. We are Turks yes, but also Iranian, and Caucasian. We originally came from ancient Iranian tribes, and we spoke ancient Iranian language before Turkish. Please tell me how you feel about this, thank you. Azerbaijani people always my brothers, and sisters by the way.

@@agostocobain2729 Your government is lying and educating you in a wrong way. Firstly, Iranian is not an ethnicity. Iranian is for those who lives in Iran. Your Ethnicity is Azerbaijani Turk, Or Iranian Turk as they say in Iran. I don't know who manunpilated the history in Iran, but We were not iranian tribe or something. Our ancestors migrated from Central asia. And our first "state" was Atabegs. We just got mixed with Persians, that is all. + We know Azeris in Iran are our brothers, but the regime in iran is not the best and treats Azeris unequally as there are a lot of them and Azeri language is still not official.

After the turks Came the Assimilation started and the people of These Region speak turkish.but in origin They we're never turks. Azeris Like other iranian tribes in origin zoroastrian people and also celebrate new rooz .They are also Like Iran shia country. Azeris are still iranian people with an Assimilation of turks.
