At the beginning of my trip To Iran, I kept saying "As-salamu alaykum" as a habit from Pakistan and also considering it is the Islamic Republic. Salam, simply meaning “peace” is a shortened version of Assalam Al-aikoum from Arabic peace be upon you. Arabic version itself comes from Shalom Alaikhom from Hebrew of the same meaning. You can use Salam or Dorood (meaning Greetings) as everyday greeting in Erān. Hope this helps 😊
Iran is definitely not third world country. It might not be as developed as western Europe, but it is much more developed than India. You can find trash in middle of NYC or Philly, but that would not make them third world cities.
"Asalaamo-Alaykom" (Arabic) is used mainly by Arabs and none-Persian Muslims, in Iran we only say "Salaam" or "Doroud", followed by "Khoobin? or khoob hastin?" meaning "Are you well?"

They will find their ancestry for Eastern Asia where Turkish tribes are from is less than 10%. They would be 90% Neolithic Iranian plus Indo-European and Some Anatolian. The language of Turkish was forced on the region from Saljeukian Rule 1000 years ago where native Iranian speakers were heavily discriminated against in business and politics. Those fruits are not "Salted" those are naturally dried sweet fruits(Fruitrolls) and berries. The only salted snacks are Baghala beans or Gojeh-sabz.
