      I agree him Jordan Peterson (both talk about biblical references in a smart secular way) who is critical of universities and postmodernism/marxist ideological philosophies demonizing and emasculating men. His book is number ONE best seller in Canada right now number two in america, university professor at Harvard clinical psychologist, see his viral youtube interviews... and also Stefan Molyneux (who is setting a trend to save Western Society) though Stefan is most different from paul check compared to peterson

    I think your videos are brilliant and very informative - thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have a pressing concern regarding the metabolic type diet as discussed in your book How to Eat, Move & Be Healthy. I follow a protein type diet according to my unique needs. I feel and look my best on this type of diet and it makes my blood sugar bullet proof as well as my skin clear but it makes my bowel movements inconsistent and gives me broken stools -and there doesn't seem to be much. I have been like this for a good few years now and it has driven me towards eating meals that are completely opposite to my metabolic type in order to have a poopie policeman. After every few days eating like a protein type I eat like a carbohydrate type for a day or two to increase my fibre intake so I can have a poopie policeman to make me feel like I’ve had a good bowel movement.
    I follow the rest of the guidelines you discuss in the digestive system chapter. My question is - could I do anything to improve my ability to have large complete stools whilst eating like a protein type? I should mention that my body does very well eating higher amounts of the right kind of carbohydrates for a couple of days with little or no flesh foods. Also, I don’t think I’m consuming too much flesh foods when I eat like a protein type - I never eat flesh foods more than twice in the same day and I do a 4 day rotation.

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  6 лет назад

      The secret is to adjust by what you feel your authentic inner/body needs are. If you look at the fine tuning chart or
      Tachometer chart/diagram in my book, it gives suggestions for balancing. From what you share here, it appears to me that you need to increase the amount of produce eaten on the days you are eating more flesh; your poops are a reliable indicator of what your body needs to balance.
      If you study my "Primal Pattern Eating" webinar series, I offer effective ways to find tune your diet meal to meal. You can find information on the program here: chekandpps.infusionsoft.com/app/storeFront/showProductDetail?productId=2185
      In actual fact, depending on how much exercise you are doing, the type of exercise, and other stress factors, you could need to eat as a carb type at one meal, mixed type the next, and a protein type at another meal. It is very rare that anyone is one type consistently if they are living an active life, which is why I avoid giving anyone specific diets to follow, and focus on teaching people how to access the wisdom of their body and soul for meal to meal guidance.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

    Hi Paul ! (Or anyone else) I went to hawaii on vacation (lovely place btw!) unforunatly its 24hours of flying not counting stops in economy class. After this trip i catched a cold too with fever so i stayed quite unactive the week afterwards, only had short walks.
    Today I have pain on my left side glute, in the upper area where it connects. It doesnt feel down my legs. And i havent done anything that i can figure caused this. The pain only grows and grows til im struggling to walk, then i rest and get some massage and then i can walk again.
    I have called for help but its one week waiting time to specialist and i want to fix this now:/ so please if anyone have some idea on stretches or something that can help please share.. i tried 90/90 stretch (with great caution) and to stretch hamstrings but havent seen any improvement.
    Sorry for my bad english

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  6 лет назад +4

      There are too many possible factors that could cause that kind of pain, but it is quite possible that you have an undiagnosed lumbar disc bulge pressing on the L5 nerve root.
      If you look in my book "How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy!" or search the web for directions on how to do "McKenzie Press-Ups", you can try them and see if centralizing the (potential) bulge/nucleus helps reduce the pain. If it does, then chances are good all the sitting as you were flying pushed the nucleus of the disc out so it is now touching pain sensitive structures, such as a nerve root; there can be other contributing factors as well...if you are having constipation, getting to a colon hydro-therapist and having your colon cleaned can help; the colon reflexes throughout the sciatic nerve distribution and I"ve seen cases where cleaning the colon completely alleviated the back and leg pain for patients.
      You can also see if you can find an inversion table, sometimes called a back swing (Look up Teeter Back Swing on Google for a visual) and that can help. You can also get into the ocean or a swimming pool and try some gentle water play, which decompresses the joints; try putting a kick board under your abdomen and pelvis and kicking a few laps with gentle effort and that can decompress the lumbar spine; if this helps, it is also suggestive of a potential disc injury. Finding a good massage therapist can do magic too!
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

    Question, if I put solid, principles and other high level content on the internet, am I putting myself at a disadvantage for giving away the good stuff? I feel like I might be playing myself either way. Put the content out, people know your secrets, don’t put it out, you end up doing janitorial work. Like hard earned work over years of experience. Even though our world is in a inflamed crisis. Like I worked my ass off for years, but I also need to pull in clients and I’m not running around doing seminars yet. Like do I lose a selling point if the good stuff is on my page and loose ability to charge what I need? Because I’m being suffocated by the people who want money for knowledge that I need but at the same time my practice/art is good enough to do the same thing and keep it to myself unless people pay up. Idk. It’s also good enough to share and benefit a lot of people. Like I need to make money but that’s been a huge, huge, huge, barrier.
    Hope my question isn’t too complicated.
    I know I shell a lot your way and I apologize, it just feels like I’m trapt...
    like I am the help, but I also need help. Lmao. It’s a walk in the park, but it isn’t a walk in the park.

    Hi Paul,
    My sister is a college distance runner. But she is not able to run now because every time she does, her heart rate gets way too high (200 bpm running a 9-minute mile). I am not surprised she is faced with this predicament-before she had her heart problem, her lifestyle was not so healthy. She was not sleeping enough (about five hours a night) and was eating unhealthy foods quite frequently. And if applicable, she also does not have a strong spiritual life.
    She has been eating a lot healthier and getting enough sleep for three months now. And yet when she tries to run, her heart rate still gets way too high. What is going on? What steps should she take to heal? Going to doctors has been no help, but I know this is not surprising since the business is highly monetized. Your expertise would be appreciated, thanks!
    P.S. I am looking to order How to Eat Move and Be Healthy, but notice the second edition is still out of stock.

    Very excited for this! Good thing to take the myer briggs test to know in which domain you are more incline to act in, so you can also start trying to incorporate/practice more of the other domains in your life. Im not sure if this is off topic, what its your opinion about being scared of rebirth. Sometimes I overwhelmed thinking about it, having to do everything again, to "find" the people (or the person) you loved from your past life, or maybe not even having them/him/her in that life. I think it could be an attachment issue but im not sure if its just that. thanks for your insights

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  6 лет назад

      HI,
      I'd need more details on what you mean by being scared of rebirth; since you are here writing to me, you have been birthed already, so all I can assume is that you are speaking of re-birthing in the context of Christian baptism, spiritual initiation, or a shamanic re-birthing that often occurs via a deep shamanic journey on plant medicines, or some other form?

    Great work Paul! Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us. I have read your book how to eat move and be healthy, which I really enjoyed. I am curious to know what you think about body therapy? I had severe anxiety for 4 years (took no medication), until I went to a body therapist that gave me a "belly message" mostly beneath the navel. This therapy session (called Body-SDS) was clearly a changing point for me, because I felt a connection to my breath and body again. What does Paul Chek think about such therapy? @Paul Chek

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  6 лет назад +3

      The body and mind reflect and influence each other.
      Challenges or obstruction to the flow of life force energy (chi) in the body cause perceptual distortions in the mind, and the mind then reinforces those distortions in the body; mental-emotional dissonance stresses and confuses our cells, so the mind imprints itself on the body.
      Working with the body, which is a significant component of what all C.H.E.K Professionals learn, is often essential to mental-emotional healing.
      FYI, I'm a licensed massage therapist, Neuromusclar therapist, sports massage therapist, and have studied and applied numerous manual therapy methodologies, so body work is a key part of my therapeutic approach.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

      I've had this same issue with my nose for many years and although it's getting better as I am cleaning my body of parasites, it is still quite the problem. One thing that helped for sure is the air I breathe when sleeping. Where I used to live was quite old and had poor quality air, now where I sleep has much better air circulation and my breathing has improved.

    Hello, Paul Chek! What do you think about iridology? And do you know other health diagnostic methods that our ancestors (real natural doctors used) - really interesting stuff!

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  6 лет назад

      Hello,
      I've used iridology in the past, and have studied it. I feel it's as good as the practitioner offering it, like so many other therapies.
      There are MANY other approaches, ranging from traditional Chinese medicine and assessment of chi flow through meridians, tongue diagnosis, pulse diagnosis, skin, hair and nail assessment, health appraisal questionnaires, functional medicine testing, dark field microscopy for blood analysis, voice analysis, heart rate variability analysis (see Heartmath's research; their book is titled, "Heartmath" and is very good, to pH assessment, and more...including art therapy assessment, handwriting analysis, Tarot readings, tea leaf readings, and various other forms of divination; I've seen the "non conventional" methods get to the root of people's challenges when more objective methods missed the mark and vice versa.
      Love and chi,

      Hi, I've discussed grains and grain issues many times over the years on my video blogs and written posts.
      You may also find relevant information at the C.H.E.K Institute blog, which you can look through at: www.chekinstitute.com
      Essentially, if the grains are organic and your body can digest, metabolize, assimilate and eliminate them effectively, then you are good to go.

    Hi paul! I've tried to reach out to you about this before but not sure if you got it. I'm not sure who else I can contact because I've pretty much exhausted all of the options that I know of (NUCCA, gen. chiro, egoscue, self MFR, and stretching). I believe I'm suffering from a congenital musculoskeletal imbalance. I'm fairly certain my right side is like 3% less developed compared to my left. This causes my whole kinetic chain to look like figure A: www.bensalemmuscletherapy.net/images/this-that-new.png
    If you don't want to click on it, it's basically one leg pronating more and driving up the whole kinetic chain. Really hope you can shed some insight if you have knowledge on what I may be experiencing, and if not maybe point me in the right direction. I've tried contacting a CHEK practitioner but it's currently out of my budget to work with one. I have been searching for a while and will continue until I find a "cure" ;)

      HI, there are many things that must be considered, and that can be done, but it takes someone with the skills of a C.H.E.K Level 3 or 4 Professional to address them all.
      In the mean time, you'd probably gain a lot by searching for my past vblogs on the C.H.E.K Totem pole here on my YT channel, and in my written blogs at: www.paulcheksblog.com as well as the C.H.E.K Institute blogs and articles at: www.chekinstitute.com
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

      He said no such thing at 7:40. He said it at 7:27. But just so you're not disappointed, here it is. Titties. Oh the horror! Cover your ears! Call the PC police and have him arrested!

      Hi, I'm not sure of that terminology, but any good acupuncturist would probably to tell you.
      You can also search "tongue diagnosis" on Google and you'll probably find a lot since this is part of traditional Chinese medicine.
      Love and chi,

    I found you channel yesterday and I like it a lot. But you're being unreal about a couple of things. First, most people work with things they don't like because they are forced to. Sure, it's not healthy to have a bad job, but it is also not healthy to live in misery and that's the capitalist situation. If you don't own means of production, you have to sell your workforce and modern labor is slavery.
    Most rich people - who have the option of not being slaves - think everybody has the same option, when obviously most of us don't. So even as you speak of love and mind and all, what you teach is actually very selfish. It only applies to people who are rich enough - a small minority - and ignores the condition of the rest. Well, maybe making other people poor and ignoring them as they starve and suffer is also not healthy.
    Happy people also get old, sick and die. It's not like people can only get sick because of bad habits. Everybody will age and die. There ain't no formula against that :(
