    Awesome awesome information shared here and a lot of it is something i've been struggling with in all my 23 years of life. Growing up i didn't really have these questions for myself(what do i love to do, how can i serve others etc) because i thought life was only about going through school and getting a high paying job and everything else is just a "filler." Even to this day i'm having issues narrowing it down but i only started my journey 4 years ago and i've been through a lot of stepping stones, i.e jobs, relationships, classes, courses etc and invested in myself. I just see life as an experiment although i would like to land somewhere where i feel i'm at peace with life and am personally fulfilled and helping others as well. Thank you again looking forward to part 3!

      You are on the right track Jay....at 23, there's still plenty of time to explore and experience; it takes time to try enough ways of expressing yourself to gain the awareness of what really turns your heart on...so now is the time to practice paying attention to what your "heart compass is telling you" in each exploration. There will come a time when all the sudden, everything clicks and you have a heart-felt sense of your life path or dream, and then you will be supported by your love to make it through the challenges inherent to growth in all lives, but with a dream, the challenges become meaningful.

      Hi, you can thank my wife, Penny for all the "upgrades"....My time to create and share blogs is limited, so I've always tried to keep the productions a bit gorilla, but when she took over as my assistant, she implemented some changes that you are noticing; the more technology one includes, the more likelihood of hang ups...but she's a tech wiz and my last assistant wasn't, so now its easier to manage it all....
      Thanks for sharing,

      Paul Chek Thanks Penny! ( I'd like to preface this by saying: Thank you for responding, I do not expect another. I know you are very busy.)
      The content you are sharing qualifies for the quality of your production and more. I understand producing books can be just as meticulous. Through this platform, your audience has the potential to expand where your books could not. (It's how I discovered you!) My personal opinion is that it is FANTASTIC to hear your recordings clearly as they are content dense! It would be a pity for poorly produced content to be ignored. I am genuinely happy for you... and your audience (Me)!
      Again, thank you for sharing the love.. and the "chi".

      Look up frankincense meditation or cleansing. It is used in more spiritual fields for its ability to open people's mind. I am looking into incense and candles. There are also essential oils. Look up the ways they use these and what would be best for you.

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  6 лет назад +8

      Hi, I regularly use Young Living's Frankincense essential oil, and I use high quality Frankincense incense for my meditations now and then, as well as to scent my office. Frankincense has a variety of positive effects on the body-mind, including:
      - Detoxification of negative energies and thought forms.
      - Opening the pineal gland to stimulate the release of endogenous DMT, which helps us access higher states of consciousness; this is why it is used in religious and spiritual ceremonies around the world.
      Young Living sells a desk reference manual that details the effects of a large number of essential oils and is very helpful for anyone using essential oils for therapeutic purposes.
      We are a distributor of Young Living Essential Oils, and the best way to purchase them is to purchase their starter pack, which isn't that expensive. Then, you can order your oils at wholesale and by selling them to your friends and those in your community, you can easily cover the costs of your own oils :-) If you want help signing up as a distributor, you can either phone the Chek Institute and ask for help (1-800-552-8789) or you can email my wife, Penny Crozier for help at: penny@paulchek.com

    Great insight as always, Paul! Had a minor question I can't seem to find an answer to anywhere and would love your input. Do you have any tips for cold hands and feet? I've tried specific, daily hand exercises, daily cold exposure, and a few other things. I read a lot of information mentioning proper spine alignment and posture, so I've been working on that a lot. Both with foam rolling and posture exercises. I love to find a doctor/ chiropractor but it seems difficult to find a one that goes in deep with each individual client. Thank you in advanced and keep up your excellent work!!

      HI,
      You'd be best off to find a C.H.E.K Level 3 or 4 Professional that is also an HLC 2 or 3. They will have the skill set to assess you fully and guide you to balance and health.
      You can find them on the C.H.E.K Institute web site near the top where it says "Find A Practitioner". If you have to travel, its probably worth it in the long run.
      I'd highly recommend you study my Primal Pattern Eating Webinar Series because cold hands and feet are indicators of poor autonomic nervous system regulation, which is often the product of an imbalanced diet. You can learn more about that program here: chekandpps.infusionsoft.com/app/storeFront/showProductDetail?productId=2185
      What you are describing is over-stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system.
      Unless you have spinal cord compression, which can come from subluxation (mal-alignment) of the upper cervical spine (C1-C2) (and is very common), or an undiagnosed spinal disc bulge/injury, it is probably not orthopedic; generally, with a disc bulge, or entrapment of the brachial plexus (nerve plexus that feeds the arms), you'd only experience cold hands or feet within the distribution of the irritated nerve structures, but you are describing both hands and feet, which suggests a global problem, thus my suggestion that it is probably diet and lifestyle issues, or toxicity. If you follow the directions for applying the information in my book "How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy!" along with the Primal Pattern Eating information, you''ll be addressing the most likely issues, and if that doesn't correct the problem within six months of honestly living the principles and practices shared, I'd recommend you got to a high level C.H.E.K Professional; or just go there first off and they will design a corrective exercise and diet and lifestyle program to get you balanced right away.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

    Thank you so much Paul for all your great advice you give to the world!
    However I thought I could try and ask you about one thing my 10 year old son is struggling with.
    He has a bone cyst in his arm, its like a hole in the bone, like approx where the upper bicep muscle connects.. he has been having this problem for maybe 5 years now, broke it 2 times.
    The doctors first did nothing, just waited to see if the cyst gets smaller. After some time they saw that nothing happened, and they did some surgery taking some bone mass from the hip and injecting it in the cyst.
    After some more time they saw that it didnt help either so now about 1 month ago he got something called cementa injected inside his arm. Its a substance that is supposed to help it grow bone mass and it disappears after about 2 months. I dont know how it will turn out but now im wondering why this happens? Is it because of a bad diet? Radiation? Genetics?
    What can you tell me about this? :)

    Paul I was wondering how you feel about medical cannabis particularly finding a balance between thc and cannabidiol. You talk a lot about the yin an yang balance in things. The fire an water elements. You've said that you feel like cannabis is a ravenous plant that itself is water an nutrient seeking. Do you feel like it has a place in todays society as far as something to help reduce stress an inflammation? I've been working in the pharmacy business for about 11 years now. Although I'm happy for the most part and I've generated enough income I'm not really fulfilled like you mention. I might need to write things down like you mention.

    Paul my mother has just begun a healthy lifestyle shes quit smoking two years ago now she’s giving up grains for lent she’s eating a variety of organic fruits, organic veggies, organic free range grass fed meats, and Grassfed dairy(p.s. I live with her so I know what she’s eating). She tests as a carb type and has been eating appropriately for her type while still listening to her body. she is a little overweight but since this change she’s actually gained 2 pounds. What’s happening ? Just some background she was in the hospital almost all year last year because of sepsis which is fixed now, and diverticulitis she is in the process of healing from this plus shes got 2 or so procedures to go before she considered all clear. I really thought these healing foods would help her lose weight (which they say would be good for the procedures) and heal her on the inside. Why is this happening ? Is she healing? Should I change anything to help her ? Pls help I love her so much I want to help please help me help her.

      Hi,
      It is very NORMAL for people to gain weight when they switch to an organic, wholefood diet.
      Often, even though a person may be overweight to begin with, once they start taking on real food and nutrition, the body wants to hold onto the new resources to protect it from what it fears will be yet another famine....Additionally, a person like your mother is often loaded with toxins, and very likely to have fungal and/or parasite infections, which also produce a lot of toxicity in the body; as she brings in more nutrition to support detoxification, the body turns on the detoxification pathways, and often needs to hold onto extra water to dilute the toxins being released.
      In my experience, particularly with females who are switching to an all organic diet, they gain up to six ponds (sometimes less, sometimes more), but once the body has adequate water and nutrition on board, it starts falling off; I've seen females loose 2-6 pounds over the course of only three days without changing their diet at all because the body is not convinced it has enough nutrition on board to run its vital systems....
      People often go through uncomfortable symptoms when they start a proper diet with adequate quantity and variety of nutrition because the detoxification and immune systems turn on and start "cleaning house". Many people misunderstand that this is a normal, essential, and healthy process and stop their program and start eating junk again....but sticking to it and letting the body do its magic is essential for long-term health.
      I'd highly recommend you, your mother and whole family study my "Primal Pattern Eating" webinar series so you have a much better handle on how to manage your diet meal to meal. You can learn more about the program here: chekandpps.infusionsoft.com/app/storeFront/showProductDetail?productId=2185

    Thank you Paul, if a labour of love is sustainable I guess if we love ourselves more we’d be more likely to follow your advice. Off topic did you train Ray Mercer when In the army? What a fighter! Did you ever train any pro boxers out of interest? Thank you so much for all your work and advice. Lots of love

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  6 лет назад +2

      Hi,
      When we don't "love ourselves", we are very likely to fall into the trap of expecting others to love us, which is a sure fire way to end up in painful, entangled relationships....
      Yes, I was Ray Mercer's trainer when he was on the CISM (all military services best boxers competing from around the world) Boxing Team in 1986 before he became a pro. He's a very powerful fighter. I was Bone Crusher Smith's therapist, and have worked with other professional fighters over the years to help them recover from injuries. One of my students, Robert Garcia was Oscar De La Hoya's trainer for about ten years, and I was a consultant to him. Additionally, of the 12 fighters I served as trainer to on the US Army boxing team, 11 made the 1988 US Olympic team :-) and our head coaches at the time (Hank Johnson and Kenny Adams) became the Olympic boxing team coaches and implemented several of the training strategies I developed while serving as trainer for the US Army Boxing team.

    Paul do you know what is the theory behind depression of the scapular before doing pull ups and do you agree that it is the proper way to do a pull up?

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  6 лет назад +1

      Hi, I'm very familiar with that "theory", and it is not wise at all.....When you set the scapulae in depression, it disrupts the natural scapulo-thoracic and scapulo-humeral timing.
      I use to have a video titled "Controversy and Current Concepts Of Pulling" available, but it was shot a long time ago and the master tape started wearing out so we discontinued it. If you look through the articles at www.chekinstitute.com, you may find some of my writings on the topic, but I do cover all relevant aspects of shoulder exercise, anatomy, kinesiology, rehab, and related in my DVD series titled "Scientific Shoulder Training" if you really want to understand the shoulder and how it works with the rest of the body; you can also get that DVD program via the C.H.E.K Institute web site.

    Hello Paul! I'm 18 years old 12th grader student from Eastern Europe, been in the natural/holistic health movement for about 2-3 years. I'm really interested in this area and I wanted to ask can I study any of your programs just with High school diploma ? Or do I need to have some kind of bachelors degree ? (I would love to spare the years and go straightly for your programs haha). I feel it's my path. Also do you need to be in the institute or at any direct place or you an study by distance (online) ?
    Love and chi, Dovydas

    • @PaulChekLive
      @PaulChekLive  6 лет назад +4

      Hello,
      No, you don't need any degree, just the willingness, commitment, and ability to complete the prerequisite training for each of the advanced training programs; I only completed the 9th grade in high school, and learned by taking specific training programs and studying what I needed to learn to help people. I also traveled the world looking for the most skilled doctors and therapists in specific areas where I needed more knowledge, and learned directly from those that had demonstrated high levels of skill in their specialties.
      You can do my Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 1 training online, and can choose the option to work with an instructor to guide you, help you with implementation, and answer your questions. Most of the prerequisite courses for my advanced training programs can be done online, and by reading specific books and articles as directed by the C.H.E.K Institute.
      The advanced training programs are run at various locations around the world, and you can see where they are being offered on our schedule at both www.chekinstitute.com and www.chekeurope.com
      I teach you the things you need to know to be effective, and practical, and spare my students the need to study any theoretical materials that are not practical, or functional in a clinical practice.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek

Because I'd like to travel, meet new people, discover other cultures and just like YOU travel the world searching for what I really need as a human being. Do you offer live studies where students could learn the ways of Holistic health coach just like a bachelor's degree (I mean comprehensive, longer term studies) with other students around, and with support of advanced teacher , learning practical theory and putting it to practice ?
      If there are these kind of longer term, comprehensive studies for becoming a holistic health coach, that you can attend live, with other international background students in the class - I would definetly like to get some more information!

    “Dr. M” (movement) is missing from the diagram. Great video. Thank you.

      it's not missing, it's on top of a vertical . Paul most likely wrote Dr. H twice simply as typo. When the diagram appears as a separate frame at 7:17 it has proper marking. Also, he corrects that on the board at 12:53. So all is good. Now, I wonder... If one would watch this video to the very end he/she would not bother to write "(movement) is missing from the diagram" , especially twice :)
