  • All Tires Comparison Pacific Drive
Face the supernatural dangers of the Olympic Exclusion Zone with a car as your only lifeline in this driving survival adventure! Scavenge resources, load up your trusty station wagon and drive like hell to make it through alive.
This video showcases all seven tires available in the Pacific Drive game. I compared each tire on the same junction, driving off-road and on-road, to create a similar lap with each one. The tires are presented in the order they appear on the workbench. Lap times are provided for reference, though they do not reflect exact results.
I didn't mention in the video that the differences between most tires while driving on the road are not very noticeable, especially regarding speed. However, off-road driving highlights the differences much more. Please note that this testing took place on a dry road, covering both on-road and off-road conditions, with no rain or water. Additionally, you can combine front and rear tires if desired, but I typically stick with all four the same. I didn't elaborate on this in the video to avoid making it too lengthy. Another thing to add is that I didn't add Power tires to the ability panel so this test was conducted with them unpowered.
    00:00 Intro
    00:41 Spare Tire
    05:20 Summer Tire
    09:59 Off-Road Tire
    13:51 Puncture-Proof Tire
    18:24 Paddle Tire
    23:14 All-Terrain Tire
    27:00 Power Grip Tires
    30:42 Summary & Outro
In summary, my best overall choice is All-Terrain tires, while Off-Road tires excel off-road, and Power Grip tires take 3rd place. Puncture-proof tires are the most effective against tire-damaging anomalies. Use Spare, Summer, and Paddle tires only if you have nothing else.

You forgot to put the 4 Power Grip tires in one of your Abilities. There's even more grip when this type of tire is powered on.
They use up the battery very quickly when powered on. So like the Nitro Boost bumper, these can only be used momentarily with "normal" game settings.

Omg, thanks for sharing this. I rarely used them before this test and I actually didn't know that you need to add them to the ability panel. I will pin this comment and it to the video description, then try this tomorrow, I need to see that grip lol. After so many hours playing, I can't believe that I missed this, but I know actually why I missed this because I got used to all-terrain so much that I didn't use a power grip tire at all.

Interesting info, so UltimateGaming, maybe a little companion video showcasing the Ability of powered ones on water and climbing a slope the others cannot climb? ;-)

@@ximorro5247 This video shows the Power Grip wheels \ tires unpowered. When powered up, it's kinda like "on-rails." I didn't get a chance to see how they climb hills yet. But I'm thinking of just using them on the front axle, since they use so much power.

@@Aaron_Voltz I'm sorry, I commented before watching the video and edited it after watching it... but also after your response, you were too quick. Thanks!
So when mixing tires do you get like an average of the setup? Interesting.

don't you need battery power in order to activate the power-grip tyres? I wonder if it loses performance when battery runs out

    • @UGC_MateM8
      @UGC_MateM8  3 месяца назад +2

Good point, yeah, you need battery power for Power tires to work, I was driving here without a battery last few tests, and it seems that the lack of power didn't affect the tire performance at all. In the game settings, I selected endless headlights and infinite fuel, and I think that because of the endless headlights setting, everything else also works like it has power, I think that the handbrake was also working without power. I actually forgot about that while I was recording this video lol, because it was all working how it should. So I think if you play with normal settings once you run out of power tires will lose grip for sure.
