Been using this trick since day one. It’s super helpful for achievements, trying out items before committing to unlocking them & as a backup run saving option. I make a backup save for each story mission so I can replay them at my discretion.
Yeah, that's on my list actually, so I will add it soon. They are in smokestacks but you can also go to Red Spires and look around where Blacksmith Anomaly spawns explosive crates.

@@UGC_MateM8 PC. This is probably because I literally just started the game. This is the very first garage and maybe until I make my first repair and find the jack, game will not let me save progress manually.
You save in the garage with car ready to go, once you enter a junction it's going to automatically overwrite last used save slot, so if you have only 1 you can never reload back. Once you enter a junction, you can reload the same junction over and over again if you fucked up your car or whatever until you passed it how you want to. Later if you pass 2-3 junctions and want to abandon the run completely instead of clicking abandon run and losing some items and damaging your car, you just reload the save from the garage and go again or choose a different route. This is mostly for doing achievements or if you want to try some new item from the garage, then if you don't like it just reload the previous save before you bought it.
@@BanjoJo I used 2 at the start, but then once, I reloaded second slot, went back to garage and immediately went on a second run with second save and I fucked up both lol, since then I use 4 😂 And I need more saves when making videos also helps a lot.

Think you could do a video on locating Explosives? I know they mostly spawn in the Smokestacks territory, but i've had shit luck with it.

You can manually save only in the garage and nowhere else. Just press the ESC key while in the garage and save the game.

@@UGC_MateM8 Well, yes, as suggested above, it was necessary to go through couple of things.
@@WithoutNumbers Yeah, now when you have the save enabled, you can use the save system to fix quirks and reload the garage if needed.

In short: if you want to go back to garage WITHOUT abandoning and losing your stuff = load different game. I use this but only 2 save slots
