not really bro if u run into these guys or any high mmr stack on kyoto they’ll have a light running mm rifle on top of the buildings. its pretty aids to play into ngl
I reached diamond with winch + sledge, prox sensor, rpg and dome. I often swap prox sensor for either pyro mine or C4 depending on what I need, and I got the SA12 in reserve for last round where sledge is often too hard to make it work. Last reserve slot is either barricade or goo grenade, though I honestly prefer the goo grenade more and more. It feels more consistent than barricade in high pressure situation, cuz you can't place a barricade if there's just a tiny pebble blocking it. Goo grenade doesn't have this issue.
Nice loadout! What situations make you choose between prox sensor, pyro mine, and C4? Also, which slot do you swap for goo grenade/barricade? And on what round?
@@EarthVasawat88 in premade with my usual mates (good players) I take prox sensors cuz it's very good to set up fights when defending. Having a free wall hack while the other team don't know where you hide makes it easy to choose when to engage and pick the first kill. It's also a good gadget to have if you get 3rd party often, it can give you an edge in chaotic situations. Especially with the sledge where you can hide behind a wall and ambush RMB to ohko lights/mediums. If I'm not playing with my usual mates and/or worse players, I take C4. It's better for solo carry cuz you can play passively and pop it to move the cash safely. You can basically defend a cash alone if you play well, or at least gain enough time for your team to come help you or even respawn. Lastly I use pyro mine either when I solo Q in casual cashout (not ranked), or if my mate wanna play heavy so he can take C4 or prox. I think pyro mines are awesome and underrated asf, they're really good to use if you can move the cashout somewhere where it can't get dropped down the floor. You can put 1 mine on the cash and 1 close by where you think a team might come from. If they shot them, the fire will still annoy them if you fight them near the cash. And if they don't shoot them, you can just rpg the cash and proc both mines yourself. And for your 2nd question, I usually swap my 1st slot for goo/barricade. I never play without dome regardless of the loadout, and I rarely remove the RPG either. The few times I remove RPG for goo / barricade, I always have the C4. I believe having destruction in your gadget is kinda mandatory on heavy, even if you play sledge. You can also replace RPG for HE grenades and just forget about RPG/C4, but then you shouldn't do it with a winch/melee build. This would work better with a charge loadout that you spec around 1v1 gun fight. Something like charge + deagle/lewis/M60, with HE nades, Dome, and last gadget any of the 3 I mentioned above.
@@EliteCustodes Thanks a lot for such a detailed explanation! Really helpful info about how you adapt your loadout based on team comp and situations. Especially appreciate the breakdown of when to use prox sensor with premade teams vs C4 for solo carrying.
Do you ever wonder how much of a meta is psychological? People that play a lot at the same ELO for a long time in games tend to get stuck with a certain image in their head or a mindset of how things "should" be. In Counter Strike a gun suddenly got popular because someone "discovered" it was good. Do you think there are any habits in The Finals that are similar? Do you think any of this effects what they think the meta or design direction of the game should be? Like if someone said nerfing something could be healthy for the game, but it's been strong for so long, would they disagree on principle?
Well, the balancing is based mostly on what FEELS balanced and not what is balanced. Even things like sound of the gun shooting might impact how balanced it will feel (thompson in Wolfenstein:enemy territory). Some people just go of how the gun feels to shoot. Two of my friends absolutely HATE shotguns in Finals, and one of the them uses sr 84 and other the revolver. So it kinda safe to say that the guns in Finals are MOSTLY balanced, so it just comes down to preferences and team composition

I sometimes play with 2 of my teammates with comms but the rest of the time I only play with one teammate with comms. I am stuck between gold 3 and gold 2. I really wanna reach diamond but I cannot manage to rank up at all. Any tips?
Is there some kind of secret with dealing damage with the SA-1216 shotgun? The thing fires marshmallows, the tiny ones you find in hot cocoa packs. I know you're supposed to use it within 5 meters, but it feels like the most garbage-tier Destiny 2 rapid fire shotgun ever made. Why not just Sledgehammer at that point???
So, you know how light can shred you with the M11 after decloaking? Yeah, the SA1216 does more DPS than the M11 with all headshots. Try it out in world tour where you can get easy shots on newer players
If you have a team you run with, focus on snagging a pic and then making a coordinated dive because a heavy up close is far more dangerous than a heavy at range. Also keeping your reticle center for your shots plays a huge part as well. If you’re off center and half your spray misses you’ll lose a ton of damage.
Treat it like a flamethrower. Its really only effective at flamethrower range, but it deals WAY more dps than the flamethrower ever can; so long as you can land those precious 4 shots per tube.

I use charge, lewis or deagles, RPG, frag, barricade. I preferer lewis over the M60 because the recoil is still fine on lewis and it has better range. The mag is also enough. Frag is my strangest pick but i can drop cashout with RPG and/or charge, then secure the room at the top with barricades and drop frags down on any team below.
Lewis is more accurate at longer ranges, at least IMO. Tap firing can do a surprising amount of damage and sometimes compete with longer range options like Famas and Pike users. Otherwise it's all preference.
A lot of people are using it with the red dot and say that with the new recoil reduction, it is a lot easier to shoot at range than the Lewis. I can’t make my mind up though.

Most effective with another heavy, but can work with mediums or even medium light if yo fight with a rabid dog mentality of kill them before they can kill you.

M60 has a red dot making it easier to view targets when shooting. M60 also is much easier to control during sustained fire (especially after the 4th shot it’s almost flat). Also better rate of fire. they each have separate strengths and weaknesses, the lewis gun has better range and less recoil, and the M60 has its insane mag size, the TTK values for both of them are within milliseconds so pick your poison, the lewis gun is better at 1v1 duelling and the M60 is great for breaking shields or laying down a lot of suppressive fire for your team
Negative. M60s recoil is better compared to the Lewis gun. That’s not an opinion that’s a fact. Just look it up. But I do agree at the end of the day use what feels better for you. And duels will depend on who lands better/more hits. If you land them first. You’ll win

Once you learn the approximate throw distance of C4, you can start to use it a bit like a slow, chunky grenade. If an enemy is chasing you down, you can set a trap for them. You always wanna make sure you're not in the radius because the self-damage is huge, and using it reactively rarely works. It's best to place it preemptively and to remember that shooting your gun, grenading, or RPGing will always be more immediate damage, but the C4 can really add to your versatility. Also don't forget that you can still place two C4 charges after it cools down, so putting two on a cashout or one on on each of the two floors below the cashout can significantly help you out.
