This is the song that on day 3 youre running out of gas but dont want to leave the dance floor so your entire crew starts the stroll then get in a rythmic groove consisting of of swaying forward and back bobbing the head eyes shut hoping its a remix extended cut. The energy starts coming back. Youre still in your trance but now anticipating the the ending of this praying the dj is loading yazoo situation. And your good to go another 15 hours.

This song was so ahead of its time that the first time I heard it in 1983 I disliked it. I couldn't feel it, let alone understand it!!! Now I can see what a masterpiece it is. Those who manage to grasp it will peek into how the mind of the drummer (or any musician for that matter) works:
You vocalize what you hear in your mind and only then you write a song.

This is the song that blew a gasket in my car while doing 80 on I-95 on my way home to Long Island from Connecticut on a Friday night so I could get ready to go clubbing. The speakers were so high and I was enjoying the song so much, I could neither hear nor comprehend what was going on as the car slowed down to a stop even though my foot was pressing the accelerator IN THE FAST LANE. Had to be towed after 6pm and the garage was closing, so the mechanic couldn't look at the car, and it took me forever to get home.

I was young in the 80's but I missed this at the time. Years later, in 2017, I heard it for the first time on Studio Brussels. They played this "song" that year many times. I knewed (I felt) almost immediately that this was original from the 80's.

I remember in the early 80s. that hid who George Kranz was and his band (: They hid the fact he and his band were german (: and the video itself wasnt release until later 80s (: like I think late 84 or 85 or 86 (: So all you had was just the song on constant radio play and tapes which also had no identification of who he or his band were (: Because media and record companies wanted the hip hop culture all over the world especially in america too think they were black artists or even if he was black (: I know MTV hid it during those years (: Hell I didnt see who he and his band were until I saw them on Friday Night Videos (: Which was a late night video show competing with MTV back in the day (: But its still mind blowing (: How this german genius and his genius band created the greatest tribal hip hop cultural song of all time (: Especially of the 80s era (: It. still blows me away even today of just how great this classic gem of a song really is (: George Kranz and his group are gods in hip hop culture for this Monster Classic Epic Jam (: Simpley Amazing (:

If you know anything about German culture in the early 1980s, specifically the scene in West Berlin, this song fits in perfectly.
Berlin was very avant-garde in the 1920s. And became avant-garde again a few decades after World War 2.

@@John_Weiss Not really But Iam pretty sure it did fit or represented the German culture at that time (: But what I was describing is how American culture took the song at first market it there own way for record sales and then finally later on truly embraced the song completely (: And gave it and the artist it's rifle due of proper respect and acknowledgement of the greatness of the song and the artist who they finally recognized was German and was a great artist with his great band (: More than Brilliantly Genius Artist and Band Pure GREATNESS at its very best period (:

@@AngelRDiaz-ie6ww Yes, I did and do agree with you on that.
You ma recall the name Falco, who had 2 hits in the US around the same time. I'm sure you've heard of Kraftwerk. If you don't know her work, have a look at what Nina Hagen was doing at around that time. And then there's a song from Germany named, "Da Da Da," that came out around that time. (It's name comes from the DaDaist art-movement from 100 years ago.)

@@John_Weiss I heard of Falco another great artist with great music loved his songs (: I think I remember he was from Germany am pretty sure (: I also heard of kraftwork but I didn't know where they from Germany and they had good music and completely responsible for giving or completely inspiring the group Africka Bambattaa and The Soulsonic Force American hip hop group of the 80s who sound was derived completely from kraftwork (: But I didn't know they where from Germany (: Kool (: I remember this group Nina or Nena and her group who song the 80s hit 99 red balloons and I remember the German version when they played it on MTV back in the early 80s another great artist with great music (: I mean there where am pretty sure a lot of artists and groups that cane out in the 80s probably 90s one obvious Ramstein but of course am not sure if they came out during the late 80s or early 90s but yet again another anazing group with great music and it diesnt matter if there singing in German it actually sounds way better in German than if they would have song the songs in English (: But yeah great groups but I didn't know that d'a d'a da music part was part of a German movement or war political group (: Interesting (: WOW thank you for your insight on German culture and there musical groups which I think are probably way more maybe 200 times more popular and completely excepted by all audiences from different countries in the worldwide cultural music movement now then they ever was back in the 80s or early 90s (: I always happy too know that genra of Music has akways had a ear for different cultures and languages expressing the music of there culture (: Thank God for that (: That the doors of Music remained open too different interpretations of Music sound melody even singing or melody of different languages it's something that should be and needed always (: After all music is universal after all (:
