@ronnie doorzon not if you're gay
OMG yes !!! 🌺💕🌸
@@rustywastakenwastaken It's the best in regards to fashion and music. That's just me. Yeah, the AIDS epidemic and politics during the 80s, not so great.
There's something distinctly gothic, funky, and neon about this song and video. So so good.
Perfectly said
Currently dying because I used to dance to this in the teen club as a kid and now I'm trying not to hurt myself dancing to it in the grocery store. 😂

I love this comment soo much!! 😂 Now if I hear this song playing in a store I'll be thinking of you and laughing to myself! 😅
just keep your hands in the air where they can be seen...don't let kids under your skin, don't let those kids get mean
I think one of the true signs of being an adult is when you start to wonder when the music in the grocery store got so good.
I hear u lady ❣️🇦🇺💃🕺
It’s 2019 an this songs is still fire 🔥💯
You know this song was playing on the movie Juice.
Hi is good
Hi is a good singer
I feel ya dope ass song
Word !! So is Candy🔥🎼🎺🎵🎶🎹💯
I first heard this played for Seven up Cherry Commercial mid 80's. The sound was awesome and unique! Most of the music I heard during the 80's was 50's music played thru movies on TV, so to hear this was awesome!
Coke, not 7up
@@tabe8850 ohhhh. I've got to look it up. I bet RUclips has it, but I have it recorded on VHS at the time. Thanks.

@@albmab “word up, it’s cherry coke. Now more cherry taste in it. Takes you past the limit.”
This has to be one of the best outros in music history
LOVE THAT SONG
...till the end of my life.
lol
Best cod piece of the 80's. There are 2 song's that I would dance to in public. One was 'word up', and the other was 'you dropped a bomb on me' I love this song.
Omggg you dropped a bomb on me was my first couples skate ☠ dont even get me started on this song 😈
Gap Band FTW
Guys are more than just a cod piece. Keep your gaze at eye level.

I was at Cameo concert with my bestie and we had a table right in front, we could almost touch anyone of them. It was a small venue of about 300 folks...OLD SCHOOL FUN..80s
Was all over the radio when it new.
Donna Clayton yeah this unforgettable tune still huge 2020 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌟💕
This whole album is golden. Man this song is just rad. And yes... I fully realized I called a 80s song rad unironically. I love Cameo.
First time I went to a nightclub back in the 80's this was playing as we walked in, such a great memory.
@@Timetraveler84 ik I'm only of average intelligence but this confuses and freaks me out. Watched a video of this experiment; going to have to re-watch ⌚ it, ig. What pr proof was there that this is how reality works? Such an interesting and intriguing topic. Space, reality and time really baffle me. Lol js
@@Timetraveler84 u should listen to mac miller thoughts from a balcony .
There's a 50/50 chance u will like it and 50/50 u won't but ur doing both at the same time until you hear it...??
I can't listen to this and not sing along. The Funk overwhelms me, and I'm powerless to resist. Thank you, Cameo! :)
THIS FUNK MUSIC NEEDS TO COME BACK!!!
Start a petition to get Drake to make funk music 🤣🤣🤣
I have tons of Funk CDs from the 70's & 80's. This is one of my faves!
Wish music was still like this in 2024
It's a call to gay sex and Diddy is about to go away for decades because of it
