The drums are really good. The snare was solid and above all, the kick drum could be heard clearly, making it extremely powerful. By reducing the volume of the hi-hat a little, the overall balance of the drums became much better. The separation between John and George's guitars is amazing, and this mix is the best of any I've ever heard.Thank You!!!!!

My father, The always musically curious non professional jazz musician was working for Diners Club, a credit card co. at JFK airport 60 years ago this week. He watched those guys get off the plane with all the kids. He woke me to watch the 2nd Ed Sullivan set 2/9/64. I’ve never been the same. I’ve been a bit of an audio nut my whole life. I’ve been a Beatles nut, I met all 4 in NYC in the 70’s, since then. I bought the MFSL masters in 1982. I have 2 sets. She Loves You has seen many reincarnations throughout the years and I am very picky about which version I prefer. I didn’t really care for Giles’ remix as I prefer the Capitol Years version. Plus if the “pride” edit is noticeable, why? This version is outstanding.

He’s crossed the line many times. Why not just clean up the front on the LOVE mix of Walrus? What I find, when it comes to Giles remixes, or any music, for those with discerning ears, cherry picking is always required.

I was suprised how quick i got a warning as the song was on an old bootleg & not in the best quality. I took the video down as instructed but immediatley uploaded it again with a slightly different title & i had no comebacks this time.
I have a two-track mix of She Loves You (no "augmentation") that fits in with the two-track "stereo" Please Please Me album available at the time. Yes, it has vocals to one side and instruments to the other, but that's how it was done when you had a two-track mono tape deck. It sounds great too!
I have that mix in my music collection as well, but the technology has improved massively since that was made. I wanted a version with stereo vocals spread across the sound stage, so I made this new mix !

It’s such a busy mix for such a simple song. There’s double tracking EVERYWHERE and what sounds to be (maybe?) pitch and key changes. Did you use a non-Beatles recording of the song to help you? Maybe it’s all the alterations in the remix but either there’s stuff in here that isn’t original or so messed with it has lost its integrity. It’s still fun to listen to.

I got them at a surplus type store for $34 and saw that they were going for around $100 online. I was happy and they have turned out to be very good. I took a friend there to have a look at them and he bought the last pair they had. He's happy too. Can you imagine a happy couple of Canadians dancing around with their cordless headphones on? It’s an “augmented” version of She Loves You with new parts (extra instruments, additional vocals, etc.) overdubbed onto The Beatles’ original mono track to create this new fake stereo creation. Any true Beatles fan who has heard this record countless times should immediately recognize all the new parts here that simply weren’t on the original recording. It’s a cool trick, but let’s call it what it is. The Giles Martin remix may not sound as crystal clear as this, but that’s because he only used the actual Beatles recordings to make his MAL stereo separated and remixed version. This RUclips channel is famous for this type of overdubbed-enhanced “augmented” remixes.

I just don't think it is truthful to just call them "stereo remixes" without disclosing your overdubbed additions. Despite what the dictionary says, most people think of a "remix" as just a re-balancing of the original components from a multi-track recording. When someone else (not the original artist) overdubs new instruments and vocals and then blends them with the original recording -- that's no longer just a remix. It's an "enhanced version" -- something altogether new and different. If you search RUclips for "Enhanced Music Videos" you'll find hundreds of examples of this type of work. I think you are misleading unassuming listeners by not adding the word "Enhanced" to the titles of your creations. (Just read all the comments here -- these people all think they are hearing the Beatles playing and singing those overdubbed tracks you recorded and blended!) Adding your own voice and instrumentation to a Beatles recording is very cool -- but the end result is no longer a true Beatles recording.
First let me say that I'm not offended or angry. I welcome all feedback, if it's delivered politely. And I've had some very offensive comments over the past few years. RUclips has given me a thick skin ! I do state quite clearly on my homepage how I create my remixes. There is certainly no intention to mislead anybody. I've had heated discussions with other people about the meaning of the term remix. Some think it is creating something like the Elvis JXL remixes, where there has been so much adding and rearranging that it is almost a completely different song. Others think it is purely rearranging the stems and not adding any other sounds, apart from reverb and compression etc. I'm doing something that's inbetween those two extremes, but with the aim of making it sound like an all original recording. And I think I succeed in that aim, at times ! I do tell people that the original mixes still exist, and always will. I'm simply offering something different to RUclips. Maybe it’s all the alterations in the remix but either there’s stuff in here that isn’t original or so messed with it has lost its integrity. It’s still fun to listen to.

🎧 👍 Hi, Pat: Those drums at the start are fantastic, John's in the middle and people are everywhere! I don't know if you could see from the picture but my bluetooth headphones are Philips SHB7250. I got them at a surplus type store for $34 and saw that they were going for around $100 online. I was happy and they have turned out to be very good. I took a friend there to have a look at them and he bought the last pair they had. He's happy too. Can you imagine a happy couple of Canadians dancing around with their cordless headphones on? It sounds pretty good, but also sounds like there's some newly recorded drums and such in this mix. I'm not sure how much is the Beatles aside from the vocals, but i hope Radio Wollaton will tell us what was added, and what the source is. Give us some details, please!
Sorry, everyone - but this is NOT a “remix” of The Beatles. It’s an “augmented” version of She Loves You with new parts (extra instruments, additional vocals, etc.) overdubbed onto The Beatles’ original mono track to create this new fake stereo creation. Any true Beatles fan who has heard this record countless times should immediately recognize all the new parts here that simply weren’t on the original recording. It’s a cool trick, but let’s call it what it is. The Giles Martin remix may not sound as crystal clear as this, but that’s because he only used the actual Beatles recordings to make his MAL stereo separated and remixed version. This RUclips channel is famous for this type of overdubbed-enhanced “augmented” remixes.
The dictionary definition of the term remix is: A variant of an original recording (as of a song) made by rearranging or adding to the original.
@@radiowollaton8521 Don't get me wrong -- I'm a big fan of your work and a subscriber to your channel. I love a lot of your creations. I just don't think it is truthful to just call them "stereo remixes" without disclosing your overdubbed additions. Despite what the dictionary says, most people think of a "remix" as just a re-balancing of the original components from a multi-track recording. When someone else (not the original artist) overdubs new instruments and vocals and then blends them with the original recording -- that's no longer just a remix. It's an "enhanced version" -- something altogether new and different. If you search RUclips for "Enhanced Music Videos" you'll find hundreds of examples of this type of work. I think you are misleading unassuming listeners by not adding the word "Enhanced" to the titles of your creations. (Just read all the comments here -- these people all think they are hearing the Beatles playing and singing those overdubbed tracks you recorded and blended!) Adding your own voice and instrumentation to a Beatles recording is very cool -- but the end result is no longer a true Beatles recording.
First let me say that I'm not offended or angry. I welcome all feedback, if it's delivered politely. And I've had some very offensive comments over the past few years. RUclips has given me a thick skin !
I do state quite clearly on my homepage how I create my remixes. There is certainly no intention to mislead anybody. I've had heated discussions with other people about the meaning of the term remix. Some think it is creating something like the Elvis JXL remixes, where there has been so much adding and rearranging that it is almost a completely different song. Others think it is purely rearranging the stems and not adding any other sounds, apart from reverb and compression etc.
I'm doing something that's inbetween those two extremes, but with the aim of making it sound like an all original recording. And I think I succeed in that aim, at times !
I do tell people that the original mixes still exist, and always will. I'm simply offering something different to RUclips. A lot of people seem to enjoy the results and I enjoy making these new mixes. It is only a hobby and no money changes hands ! @@cookiesfanforever

However, most people don't go down that rabbit hole and click through your homepage links to find that info. They just read the titles of your videos and then listen to them, having no idea how you made them sound the way they sound.

Agree, pat should replace giles martin for remastering beatles music. White album, sgt peppers, abbey road, let it be would sound way better if pat Remastered it
Definitely there should be some sort of quality control especially when it's someone like the beatles how can that she loves you that Giles done get the go ahead. it's awfully done sounds a blanket over the speakers .
