Wish I could’ve been alive when the Beatles were captivating the world. I’m 15 and today’s music is all the same, often violent, crude, or just plain bad. These four wonderful men defined music for much of the 20th century, and I wish I could’ve seen them play live.

I'm 24 and I grew up with listening to The Beatles from my dad, my uncle's, and my papa. Even though Paul and Ringo are still living I will always be a Beatles fan. Rest in peace John, George and Papa. I always thought George was a cutie.
There is an abundance of musicians that are inspired by the Beatles today. I used to be that guy who only listened to "real music" and thought modern music was crap. Than I figured out how much music you deprive yourself of with that way of thinking.
+Grace Earvolino well he doesn't make music the way you think music is made today. Bruno writes catchy hits like it's nothing. But he will never top the Beatles. No one will.
***** Whatt!!!! they can all play their instruments, well. Along with the bass guitarist, the second singer are the cute ones, the drummer looks rock and roll and the lead singers oozes charisma. All this is wrapped up in a 60s retro look. Mark my words this band will break America then get weird and get even better in time. And who knows with that pool of talent perhaps we may even see some successful solo careers. OK maybe that is stretching it a bit. But who knows.

They were so direct in their songs. Many of us think of those things but seldom say them. And they sang so well, with good harmonies and rhythm. And best of all they composed their songs. What a great group they were!
This is the first song of The Beatles I heard, and I instantly fell in love with them. I have been a Beatles fan since 2010, but I didn't start listening to their music until 2012. I absolutely love the four lads from Liverpool.
My dad used to rock me to sleep to The Beatles every night. I'm only 15 but my parents always played older music like this and it's something I'm very happy that I've grown up with. :3
For me this is the quintessential Beatles single. I remember when it came out.....any ten year old could relate to the words......we played it again and again and again....in my memory it was the first single when the band were already known all over the world and super famous.....must've gone straight to number one in the charts. Words cannot express how much we loved them. "She Loves You" ( with the YEAH YEAH YEAH ! ) made the Beatles famous but with this track they did it all over again.
Some say The Beatles weren't original in these days.. but they definately were. As they were young it was their interpretation of music and especially of Rock 'n Roll :) Great work!
Essa foi a primeira musica que ouvi do Beatles, tinha uns 12 ou 13 anos, foi num parquinho de diversões no Bom retiro, nunca tinha ouvido algo parecido, fiquei Alucinado !!!
The low Electric guitars are Just a fallic symbol. Chuck was a master and even held It straight and erected. Delta bluesmen like Patton did that in the 20s and apparently even black minstrel banjoist did all the behind the back and weird posture tricks and truly those big Gibsons would look awful clumsy clowning.
@@fshoaps they're not much bigger than a standard dreadnought acoustic. It was more likely that it was to keep the guitar in the same position whether sitting or standing.
First song I ever heard from the Beatles on AM radio in late 1962 or 1963 I think. Like a revelation of music awesomeness! Thanks Fab Four!!!! You made the life of a teenager a lot more tolerable.
OK kiddies. I grew up w/ these guys. I was a very young girl. had one of 2 of my albums was the beatles. I don't think I even had a radio. & kids were all at school. suffer kids, if u feel like complaining all the time!!
Está canción le gustaba mucho a mi esposo fayesio ase 35 años lo extraño mucho nunca lo olvido más pasá el tiempo y espeor lo sigo sigo Amando 🖤💔😭😭😭😭😪😔
Who down votes something like this? Dopes. I shouldn't even give them any attention but they're just that colossal a pillock. Each and every one of them.
Los Beatles los mejores del mundo,, siento tanto la pena de John Lennon que alla muerto, es como si me faltara el corazón,, lo valoraba mucho a el,, era un idolo de primera que mataba de amor a los fans, como lo extraño, :'((..
I lov the rhythm guitar part to this -- not the acoustic but that gnarly stuff George is playing. This was the first Beatles song to hit in NYC and despite the innocent title features a very striking melody with the upward leap of a fifth leading into the chorus.
The Beatles is the only band I can think of that you can see gradually get better. They started as a average pop group, but in-between 1965-1966 they transformed. They morphed into one of the most legendary bands in the world. I'm not trying to dis this song, although I hate this song, I'm just saying to all those "fans" saying their 12 and listen to the Beatles, listen to Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, the White album, and Abbey Road, and you'll probably agree that THIS isn't the Beatles.
***** I don't think your reading my comment right... I said that the only reason why they were popular, is because they were cute, and I don't like them, because their music is just average, dumb, make me some money pop-tunes, until they started maturing, and created stellar music.
Saw them in the mid 60s at Dodger Stadium. They came out of the 3rd base dugout. Right where we were sitting. They played at 2nd base. Amazing Night 🔥🎸🎤
I think it's hard as an adult now in 2014 to look back on a specific song and compare it to a whole body of someone's work. It's important to remember the environment that the Beatles were composing and writing in. England was largely isolated from the rest of the world musically speaking in 1962. Commercial radio did not exist. I think that a more accurate statement is that you can see the Beatles grow as musicians and song writers through to 1970. And they would agree with you. Musically speaking, they were innovators as far back as 1962. Their chord structures and melodies had never been done before. I think that the more you study music the more you can appreciate the complexities of songs like "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "Not a Second Time" and even "Please, Please Me" One doesn't have to be a musician or even understand how music works to appreciate the Beatles. However, the greater understanding one has the greater appreciation that person will have for the early stuff. To the non musicians I would suggest spending the next 5 years listening to nothing that was recorded after 1961. Then put the Please, Please Me album on. Then you'll get what all the hype was about!
Who are the 391 people who :Disliked" this? A Classic. Sweet, catchy, and very reflective of the innocence of the time; before Vietnam, Kent State, LSD & Nixon. Just a beautiful song. Hard to believe their look was considered "radical". Amazing. Thanks for sharing.
#TheBeatles, They were from England. And they were one of the most popular bands from the 1960's. And, i had many of their records. Yes, i am old 😀👍🙋🎷🎺🎻🪗🪘🎸🪕🥁💖💜❤️💙😘😎🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Beatles were the group remains on the charts even with bands like guns and roses. Paul McCartney was a brilliant mind shame that he could not hear George Harrissom, that there was an incredible potential.
I remember I was in 6 grade, my computer teacher showed is a movie about these boys, everyone made of them me I caught on to the catchy songs. I'm 18 now, I'm glad my teacher introduced me to them , I love the Beatles . McCartney hasn't changed at all , he still does those little dance moves while playing ! Lol
I'm thirteen, and I hate the music my generation has. I wish music of the current generation sounded like this. People at school are like, "Listen to Justin Bieber! Listen to Nicki Minaj! Or Ariana Grande." and I'm like, "No. Beatles is where it's at. End of story." Some current music is okay, but I would give anything to live in the generations when music was actually GOOD. I think the problem with today's music is autotune. Most of them can't sing, so they autotune it. Nowadays, anyone can be a singer because if you suck, they computerize it. But back in The Beatles era, there was no autotune, so they actually had to find people with really great musical talent. So music stayed good because the singers' voices were REAL. I can hardly stand my generation and it's only getting worse.
It took me a really, really long time, but I finally appreciate this band and I see why everyone loves them. They're fucking amazing.
Same! I never really appreciated them, but something happened and I heard them at a restaurant a few days back and now I'm in love!
It took me awhile too
Hey! Better late than never! Rock on!
BernerCheifs97 I know that feeling bro. :) I asked myself why didn't I appreciate their beautiful music earlier? now I am a real beatles fan
Same all the way
60 70 and 80s music was by far the best music.Todays music has lost its magic!
As a teenager, I have to agree
Wish I could’ve been alive when the Beatles were captivating the world.
I’m 15 and today’s music is all the same, often violent, crude, or just plain bad.
These four wonderful men defined music for much of the 20th century, and I wish I could’ve seen them play live.
Ahora entiendes porquè los viejos (tengo 65) decimos que todo tiempo pasado fue mejor.
Desafortunadamente es la verdad.
Bro I feel the exact same all music today is stuffed full of autotune and electric sounds and shit like that, like 'artists' nowadays don't even have to make the sounds happen onstage it's like all done from some computer, whereas these real artists had to make it happen all from onstage.
I’m 69 and lived through it all, only living 30 miles from Liverpool. It still makes my heart beat faster hearing and seeing my boys.❤
Bro please grow up there’s good stuff out there too
I'm 24 and I grew up with listening to The Beatles from my dad, my uncle's, and my papa. Even though Paul and Ringo are still living I will always be a Beatles fan. Rest in peace John, George and Papa. I always thought George was a cutie.
this makes me sad. why can't music like this exist today?
Grace Earvolino Because you aren't searching hard enough.
There is an abundance of musicians that are inspired by the Beatles today. I used to be that guy who only listened to "real music" and thought modern music was crap. Than I figured out how much music you deprive yourself of with that way of thinking.
Bruno Mars is almost equivalent to The Beatles. One of the modern artists I respect as much as The Beatles.
Raul G Umm, I like Bruno Mars but he is not anywhere alike to the Beatles.
+Grace Earvolino well he doesn't make music the way you think music is made today. Bruno writes catchy hits like it's nothing. But he will never top the Beatles. No one will.
Good band and catchy tune, I can see them going places. May even win a grammy someday.
You're funny.

You're kidding right? You're trolling aren't you? Please tell me you were joking
Trolling!!!!???
I don't think I posted anything derogative or negative. I think they are a decent boyband, and better than usual.
This song makes love seem innocent and pure again. The Beatles will always be amazing.
Innocent and pure! Not!...it's chock-full of naughty metaphors.
"When I see you I feel happy inside...it's such a feeling that my love, I can't hide!"
Need I translate?
This music makes you happy, not hateful.
It just means that they’re happy… not everything has to turn into an innuendo you know
I love this song! Paul and John were so cute. I wish I was alive back then. If only music was like this nowadays...
Agreed. of course many people recognize them as the best songwriting relationships of the 20th century.
Oreo Mmh-Mhh Yep (Oreos are absolutely delicious by the way)
Biscuit0100 Haha, thanks!

Good man
I'd love to listen to The Beatles ever since I was 8 years old they just don't get old
Why can't pop music be as good as this nowadays?
Oh yeah, I'll tell you something
I think you'll understand
When I'll say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
Oh please, say to me
You'll let me be your man
And please, say to me
You'll let me hold your hand
I'll let me hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
And when I touch you I feel happy
Inside
It's such a feeling that my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide
Yeah, you've got that something
I think you'll understand
When I'll say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
And when I touch you I feel happy
Inside
It's such a feeling that my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide

I think you'll understand

I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand

This song is so simple, but the magic of those guys...
And Paul's and John's voices together are just out of this world.
They have sibling harmony.
the are best songwriting team ever
patrick grondines they are the best. Period.
In everything. They changed music forever and without them all the bands we know today like queen, nirvana and led zeppelin wouldn' exist, or at least make the music they did.
they sure did change music all the way
Exactly what I was going to say!
Completamente de acuerdo, con solo 2 guitarras, bajo y bateria suena genial, y el talento para componer de Paul
y John, eran increibles.

The funny thing they did R&B soul and funk music during the mid and late 60s? They appealed to everyone
Same here Bro!
Great remembrance Marvin!
Maravillosa ,
They were given the MBE medal, but were not conservative at all.
I love this music. It's an educated music, great band, great voices. It's an excellent music.

I was born about 2 months after The Beatles came to America. I was born May 7th, 1964. I grew up to The Beatles and Elvis. Good Rock-n-Roll!

To the non musicians I would suggest spending the next 5 years listening to nothing that was recorded after 1961. Then put the Please, Please Me album on. Then you'll get what all the hype was about!
I love Paul McCartney ♡
50 years and still as good as ever
I love this song!
An immortal group for all times and ages
Ughhh I wish I was alive back then. This song just makes me so happy.
Going to sing this to my crush, wish me luck!
Were You lucky??? Since You posted i would Say You got to marry her. Just curious😮😊
Hope it worked out
Excelente música
Best band ever!
194 people don't want the Beatles to hold their hand.
❤¡¡esta canción!!👏👏👏🎸🎶🎶🎶
Música boa não envelhece nem enjoa
If we want music like this again, we need our schools to teach music theory, have choirs and teach playing musical instruments.
I don't think the Beatles learned from music schools or music theory
Can i just say the beatles was and still are the best band ever .....PERIOD
Для меня оно начиналось с A taste of honey... Но настигло неумолимо!
Сука блуат
People ask me why I don't like music today
My reply is
"Have you even heard the Beatles? They have better songs than 99.9% of the songs today"
Saw them 50+ years ago. Still the best band every.
This is probably the *only* love song that I would play for someone I love. None of this "What makes you beautiful" stuff.
Мой любимый хит!!!❤❤❤
Their is some great potential here If they keep on going like this they can do anything
Funny!
They were so raw, so real, what you see and hear is authentic creativity in it's purest form with no bells, whistles or technology...damn good.
" when I touch you I feel happy inside, its such a feeling I love" the meaning has changed so much
I used to think that the Beatles were bad but now that I hear them, they have catchy tunes, great voices and just some awesome lyrics!
This song was born together with me: March 17, 1964
I saw that 188 people disliked this. Who in the right mind could not like this?!
Lol
I wanna to hold your hand!
Elizabeth Lopez garcia Glad for that sister!
It was not the British Invasion.
It was the Beatles Invasion.
All others followed along.
明るい気持ちになったり悲しくなったり、ずっと鳥肌が立つ。
Lindos meninos, amava na minha adolescência...🌹🌹
Kid shut up you're 13
And my age is supposed to determine whether I have the right to speak my mind?
PadawanKenzie Me either, and the worse thing, is that i'm brazilian. Have u ever listen to "sertanejo universitário" or "funk"?
StudiosTudoGamers No I haven't ever listened to them..
PadawanKenzie Luck for you. xD
Where's Ringo's Head!!!!!
Damn letterboxing! You killed my favorite Beatle!!!
" I WANNA HOLD YOUR HAND[HD]-THE BEATLES "
Oh yeah I'll tell you something
I think you'll understand
When I say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
Oh please say to me
You'll let me be your man
And please say to me
You'll let me hold your hand
Now let me hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
And when I touch you I feel happy inside
It's such a feeling that my love
I can't hide, I can't hide, I can't hide
Yeah, you got that something
I think you'll understand
When I say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
And when I touch you I feel happy inside
It's such a feeling that my love
I can't hide, I can't hide, I can't hide
Yeah you, got that something
I think you'll understand
When I feel that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
