It's incredible how every time I come back to this song I am amazed by its beauty and simplicity. That three minute fade out that essentially consists of "Naa, na, na, na na na naa" just produces this hypnotic effect, and is easy for anyone to sing along with. It creates a feeling of community. One of the most joyous songs ever, made even more joyous by all those happy audience members singing the chorus for a few minutes. It could have gone on forever. On some days, I think this is the most beautiful song ever written.
@@patlaw398 It's too bad that you can't appreciate someone else's happiness, and instead, you just make a negative remark with no specific remarks about this song. Chances are you're tone-deaf and have no joy in your life. And you're probably a Trumper.
Yes. Absolutely magical. If one had to choose a greatest moment from all the songs of the Beatles, that might be it. But one can't choose a greatest moment. Too many of them.
One thing I love about The Beatles is how much of goobers / causal blokes out of performance or during rehearsal, but when it's really time to perform, the magic of their chemistry and musicianship just explodes out of them.
Actually ive just remembered, they were touring the States and were being interviewed on a TV show. The interviewer says to Ringo 'you must be one of the best drummers in the world right now"? and John pipes up "he's not even the best drummer in the band"
@@markwoods1530 Lennon grew up in probably the toughest environment of all 4 of them. Don't forget, the were parts of Liverpool destroyed by the Germans in WWII. John was hanging out with rough crowds in the rubble of the war. No other band in history has had the staying power and influence that the Beatles have (and had) even more than 50 years after it was dissolved. It's unbelievable and incredibly remarkable, when you think about it.
Nobody was born in the wrong generation for The Beatles because their music transcends generations and is as fresh now as it was then, The error from Tanzania
My favorite lyric in this is "hey jude, you'll do. The movement you need is on your shoulder." But it's the 'hey jude you'll do' that gets me every time. I think we all know why it hits us.
WHY EXACTLY WERE THEY FAMOUS? WHAT IS THEIR TALENT? Can someone explain it to me please??? Music? Nope, not theirs. Cool clothes/new worlds? Nope, they were trained by Tavistock. You think four boys met by chance and decided to play some music? Nope, all engineered by Tavistock Mind Control institute. To become rich and famous they had to sign a contract to become devil worshippers. Which involves child rape/torture/murder/cannibalism. And they gladly agreed.

the talent, singing prowess and the charm aside, the sheer maturity to pen these lyrics with such intense meaning at such a tender age is nothing short of genius. and that is what has made the Beatles so much special and loved and legendary. Merry Christmas !!
I never get tired of listening to them. My appreciation only grows stronger as I get older. There will never be another like them. No one even comes close.

Paul says it is. I suspect though it's more about McCartney himself. Its 1968, there's already rumblings and a divide in the Beatles. Could this be a song more about reassurance to himself? Don't make a bad situation worse. Take a sad situation (ie end of Beatles and make it better).

@@unbeatable8025 I wasn’t saying that bohemian rhapsody’s lyrics are bad they are very good and catchy lyrics but Freddie Mercury himself stated that they are just catchy words that rhyme and don’t mean anything hence “nonsense”, and I was saying that most of the lyrics and motifs in Bohemian Rhapsody are negative like “nothing really matters” and “nobody loves me.” Hey Jude is Paul encouraging John’s son after his parents had divorced. All I was saying is Hey Jude’s lyrics are more positive than Bohemian Rhapsody’s, they are both masterpieces and I wasn’t saying one was better than the other bro

Thank You Maiianna for introducing me to this song. If you see this comment, and remember me, we had a good run.
One of the most joyous songs ever, made even more joyous by all those happy audience members singing the chorus for a few minutes. It could have gone on forever. On some days, I think this is the most beautiful song ever written.
On some days, I think this is the most awful song ever written.
@@patlaw398 It's too bad that you can't appreciate someone else's happiness, and instead, you just make a negative remark with no specific remarks about this song. Chances are you're tone-deaf and have no joy in your life. And you're probably a Trumper.

Not to be confused with June, heh

One thing I love about The Beatles is how much of goobers / causal blokes out of performance or during rehearsal, but when it's really time to perform, the magic of their chemistry and musicianship just explodes out of them.
absolutely agreed
Lennnon was always cracking jokes but often of a not very nice sort.
Actually ive just remembered, they were touring the States and were being interviewed on a TV show. The interviewer says to Ringo 'you must be one of the best drummers in the world right now"? and John pipes up "he's not even the best drummer in the band"
@@markwoods1530 that quote by John isn't real. It was made up by a comedian.
@@markwoods1530 Lennon grew up in probably the toughest environment of all 4 of them. Don't forget, the were parts of Liverpool destroyed by the Germans in WWII. John was hanging out with rough crowds in the rubble of the war. Paul, George, and Richie were sort of in the "upper class" of Liverpool and had more stable households and families who looked after them more closely as children.

The little facial expressions between John and Paul even while they’re both playing instruments and singing at the same time is super impressive.
John missed his harmony part in the second verse, but got it in the third.

No other band in history has had the staying power and influence that the Beatles have (and had) even more than 50 years after it was dissolved. It's unbelievable and incredibly remarkable, when you think about it.
can't disagree.
The only other band that I can think comes close is Queen. They are and still are huge!
I 12 and still I love the song
amazing that they did it all in like 11 years
Wouldn't Queen be up there with the Beatles
Nobody was born in the wrong generation for The Beatles because their music transcends generations and is as fresh now as it was then, The error from Tanzania
My niece's son knows who the Beatles are and he was born in 2008 44 years after the Beatles broke big in America in Early 1964.

My favorite lyric in this is "hey jude, you'll do. The movement you need is on your shoulder." But it's the 'hey jude you'll do' that gets me every time. I think we all know why it hits us.
You can be in the worst mood, and this song can turn that all around. The ultimate uplifting song 🎵 ❤
Take a sad song and make it better
WHY EXACTLY WERE THEY FAMOUS? WHAT IS THEIR TALENT? Can someone explain it to me please???
Music? Nope, not theirs. Cool clothes/new worlds? Nope, they were trained by Tavistock. You think four boys met by chance and decided to play some music? Nope, all engineered by Tavistock Mind Control institute. To become rich and famous they had to sign a contract to become devil worshippers. Which involves child rape/torture/murder/cannibalism. And they gladly agreed.
