I do not agree with her completely, considering how fast revolving sciences and how fast, we are developing new things for new diseases, every time. Will most probably have a cure by 2030. Plus now, we have gene editing technology and stem cell transplant under audit.
I don’t agree as well, maybe we will not find something for the next 2 or 3 years but further around 2030 it still largely possible given the promising scientific path that as been found the last 5 - 10 years about Bnab’s and Crisper cast 9 🧬 gene editing. They are working so hard in lot of different countries…
Thx Peter! She was so inviting and I coming when I approached her for an interview. Love the Vegas bit haha we had a good laugh; I’m a sucker for penny slots cause I hate committing to tables 🫣

We can minimize new infection only, But Ending HIV is only possible after bringing the cure. Because all HIV infected can't supress HIV to undetectable level. Because of small small mistakes and sometime unintentional situation and in new generation specially teen age time it's difficulty to control risky behavior and this things happen.
actually everyone can supress it to undetectable levels, not everyone can get their CD4 cell count high. Prep is more effective than a condom. You need good government to get the job done. We're at a level where you can get an injection and you're good for 2 months.
The biggest problem is daily pills, and its side effects. Injectable long term remission vaccines will make life a little more comfortable. It's my POV, if the PD1 Enhanced DNA vaccine and HLP if able to success in future will be better
@@palpal4386 actually current HIV meds have fewer side effects than allergy meds so stop the fear mongering. Taking an HIV pill per day will keep AIDS away. Great interview. Very informative and she covered key issues in this battle! Lovely person and I love her POV! I'd love to understand more about why the interaction between fat men and trans women can be cold to cis gendered women. Maybe I'll reach out and ask
If you are undetectable and healthy then you can gain weight by eating more. If you are referring to muscle, that requires a LOT of hard work consistently working out or doing strength training/resistance exercise of some kind
I think there is a part of this video where she was really negative and that has demotivated some folks including me. That part hurts!
I find it interesting.
They still want to categorize individuals. I think you can see why it's taking longer than it should for us to get the cure.

I love this woman!!
