Dont worry mate. The cure is in the making, its just extremely difficult because of HIV's ability to hide in latent reservoir. They are looking for a way to counter that. Biggest obstacle to a cure are pharma companies to be honest as they will lose the most. HIV patients are extremely profitable not only because of the anti viral meds but because of the ongoing future treatment they may need with other conditions.
The cure is there just needs time hopefully someone presses the fast forward button
they are testing many things but i think in the nxt 10yrs there's still no cure for hiv.

This is a fantastic inside look at the current research from multiple sources doing the wide ranging work. The "Block Lock And Stop" and the "Kick And Kill" methods seem to be the most hopeful.
In your opinion, you think Excision BioTherapeutics' EBT-101 in a multimodal therepy with HLPs (HIV-virus-like-particles), developed at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine, would be that approach?
@@Mr.Majestic77 What's absent here is the AGT103-T gene therapy treatment developed by Addimmune, which already appears to have worked successfully in the completed Phase 1A human trial. That fantastic result should have been promptly fast-tracked. Instead, Phase 2A is not yet underway. The excuse for the bizarrely slow pace has been lack of funding, which is pretty much a criminal indictment of the HIV pharma industry that feels threatened by a potent cure that will drastically obsolete their current HIV drug products. All of the methods presented in this video are focused on additional drug treatment approaches that will have a much lower per-patient cost when compared to the gene therapy treatment developed by Addimmune. So instead of expediting a cure that already has evidence of efficacy, it's really all about the Benjamins.

Stay on your medication to become undetectable so you cannot transfer it to anyone else. You will be fine. Have an open and honest dialog with your dr. I am almost 30 yrs in and am doing well. It's not as scary as it once was. Also, counseling might help as well. I waited 18 yrs and finally went!

How about a study that doesn't focus basically on hiv . But focus on stem cells edit them to be similar to the people that are immune to hiv . Similar to london patent...etc but in this it comes without the surgery
