Happy you appreciate the interview!
I really want to visit your hospital
Red Rose 🌹 petals put to boil until the petals turn white drink warm it's good for heart disease,Stroke and Aids,
As a scientist, with background in molecular medicine, drug development and pharmacology. I can promise anyone with HIV, should stay positive. With or without cure currently, the possibility of dying for aids has gone down significantly. A cure is just around. 3 decades ago, could you imagine the number of people who died of gonorrhea? Who dies from gonorrhea now? How many even treat this at home without going to the hospital.
You are a Sweet heart...❤
😂 You think the pharma will let anybody kill the BIG profit?
I love Dr. Monica! She is so very intelligent and knowa the ins and outs of hiv. Very compassionate and devoted. Angel in disguise. Well done Raif!
I'm instantly a fan of Dr Monica too. She's a straight shooter, isn't afraid to speak her mind and has such good energy
As you age it gets more and more complicated to take care of yourself and to feel good it's hard to work when you see 25 doctors
Raif and Dr. Gandhi are the voices of compassion and intellect for the family of mankind. The hope is that in this light, people will see. Thank you so much.......Ray
Thank you Ray! Definitely hoping to shine as much light as we can
Wow! What an inspiring and encouraging interview !! Dr Gandhi for inviting her on interview!!! She is awesome!!! There is so much going on that most people are unaware and it’s truly an eye opener!!
Agree that we are in the stage
where ‘various’ tools ‘ available for the treatment of HIV and many more in development!! Glad you both covered the emotional and social aspects! Hope your postings reaches many other people in countries that have little or no information outside just their ‘ routine’ treatment!! Knowledge =Power=Hope!!!
Thank you !! ❤❤
Hey thanks for the awesome feedback. So glad you enjoyed the conversation as much as I did. She’s fantastic. Yes I want people to see and realize just how much is going on in the world of HIV. I’m barely scratching the surface but as you can see there’s a lot to cover!
Powerful interview. Love the “real” and genuine optimism. Thank you Raif .
😌🙏🏽
Thanks for giving light on the long term injectable...very informative
Such a tremendous Breakthrough after decades of tireless dedication by Elites.
Thank you so much Raif and Dr.Gandhi for all information.....
you're very welcome 🙏🏽
This is an amazing podcast. Raif this awesome, and Dr. Monica is such an amazing physician & humanitarian.
Appreciate the support and I’m glad you are interested in these types of conversations too. I’m excited to keep exploring with more guests 🙏🏽
Amazing interview, truly inspirational.
I was so excited after we finished I was pacing around the apartment; my b/f so i needed to go take a walk outside lol
Actually very flawed through the eyes of those students of alternative med
The Lenacapavir/Cabotegravir
and Lenacapvir/Islatravir studies are so groundbreaking for people living with HIV. Looking forward to this.
Hey! I heard you might be interested in coming back to HOPE??
@RaifDerrazi please sir where can we get this drug to purchase?
Thankyou Raif the is hope that we will get a cure 🙏
I’m just mentally exhausted from this prison/nightmare. I just want to wake up from this. I don’t know for how much longer I can go on 😭 😔

Can I be part of this research?
I love her. She gave great info during covid too!
Really looking forward to an ongoing conversation with her!
BOOSTING
I love to read too!
Me Three...but these days I tend to get the audiobook version so I can listen while driving or doing errands
Can you please do live Q and A’s with these great docs sometime? I would have loved to ask the doctor some questions, such as “if I was on Sustiva in the past, but only stopped because of side effects, could I be tested for resistance to it in order to see if I can take the new drug (which requires no resistance to Sustiva (Efavirenz) in order to use it? I don’t need a new drug yet, but for potential future use.
Yes, once I get the ball rolling and more speakers familiar with my channel I’d like to do semi-regular live Q&A’s etc
@@RaifDerrazi Thanks, that would be great! I appreciate your RUclips channel and you are a very good speaker!
Hope for cure
HIV AIDS people need to be concerned about the human papilloma virus it can affect you in many ways especially if you have HIV or Aids
Good info

You give me hope i am from Egypt hiv postive
انا ايضا صديقي وأشعر بالخوف و التوتر وليس لدي أي أصدقاء ولم أخبر اهلي ولكني متعب من التفكير فما بعد
Moss Salvage support groups are being defunded now so there is not as many as you think out there
They stopped a lot of mental places in the 70s and they didn't find them anymore
How did you start your career as an advocate Raif? I have followed you from the begging and being a patient at UCSF maybe I might get a chance to pick the Dr.’s head in person
Isn’t she great? Advocacy happened for me very organically. Initially I just started sharing my own story and my experiences. Eventually I wanted to learn more and share more and viewers expressed such a need for more content about HIV so it grew from there
Doctors in need want to see you during the covid pandemic they wanted to see you on your phone
Please sir what is the name of the drug and where can i purchase it sir
Most doctors were saying that we were not at risk.
Too many people have died from this disease they need to get a cure for if they have one they need to start processing this for HIV and AIDS people.
Good Uganda
I hate the hiv medication because now I have more symptoms than I have had, and no doctor is listening, so im to a point of give up . 😢
Don’t give up. There are many different drugs available.
Don't give up,
Keep trying ...
Find another doc
Read online lots of information is available...
Maybe you can try nigella sativa
What symptoms?
This all looks great but if a cure comes out, will it be for USA residents only or will it have a worldwide reach?. Cheers
I’m sure world leaders would make it a priority in their respective countries
Whats the name of her book?
Endemic: A Post Pandemic Playbook
Você é muito lindo.
After years and years and years even the last 25 years that are is no here yet and there is nothing we can do about it and it is destroying our body as we live most people cannot go back to work
When will you give out the drugs for other countrys like African Countrys
❤❤❤
Lots of cancer in HIV problems
Congratulations for your work Prof. It appears I'm more interested in hearing about cures and nothing else.
Hope you do a Video on EBT-101 Fast Track.
I will cover this topic in an upcoming video
@@RaifDerrazi Thank you
Is it like vaccine or drug like and we see a lot it is found but still the people has to get the medicine sooner so what is your opinion?
Trust in healthcare is beyond repair, many hiv+ people like me stopped taking ARV, and there must be millions who dont want to know about vaccines
Why have you stopped taking your ARV treatment? Without it you immune will become increasingly compromised, damaged and at some point you become ill, when (not if) that happens you might be very, very lucky and restart your ARV's and recover - however if you leave for too long you may succumb to one (or more) of many opportunistic infections. You may be offered 'salvage therapy' if you wait too long, as happened to very dear friend of mine in 2007 who, like you, went off his ARV's. He was given salvage therapy. It was extremely painful and wholly ineffective. He died. And he died horribly in extreme agony. And in 2007 he didn't need to die - he just chose to stop his ARV therapy. PLEASE reconsider your choice - as without ARV's - you will develop AIDS.
@@harvey1965 my dear friend, thanks for your concern, i have reasons to believe that HIV isnt such a lethal virus as the powers at be trying us to believe, i am infected for over 10 years, and took ARV for a total of 2 years, felt worse when i took it than without, i am 57 and run weekly 50 km, i eat healthy and i am NEVER EVER sick, i ofcourse have negative friends of my age who.have much more health problems as i have, further they discovered my status while incarcerated in Spain, the medics only informed coincidental 8 months later and told me i dont need ARV, it was after my family warned the Dutch embassy that the started to treat me 2 years later, Why? They never gave me an explenation, but surely they know something we dont know, dont forget the pharma industry is one with many skeletons in closed, they peooved that during covid
@@harvey1965 besides that, i am wayyyyyy not the only one, there are many like me who stopped sponsering the milkcow of big pharma
@@evertsmallegange5264 when did u stop taking arv ? And jave u been checked after stopping ur medicine ?
@@hamdiesen4340 yes, i do get my blood checked, my virusparts were 1072 last time, and T4 cells 486..most important i feel good!!
I come from Indonesia Does HIV have a cure?
Not for the general public, yet
No there is not any cure yet
Within 10 years we will get the cure

My question to Dr Gandhi would be if she here seen the new article about Australia basically almost eradicating Covid. They have dropped transmission up to 85% I think. How could we bring that thinking here with facts and numbers are out there
Hi ... I'm an Australian who's positive. To answer your simply, I would suggest that culturally Australia and the US are very different animals. First up, we have Universal Healthcare - which is Federally run system, delivered by each different state government. Politically our 'Medicare' system is very popular and has been in existence since 1984. Australia also historically has been very very good at running health programs. As an example the response to AIDS in the 1980's was (at the time) the most successful public health program run by any government. The federal government of the day fully financed a powerful response to the AIDS pandemic and empowered the primary stake holders - the Gay Community to organise the on the ground programs in response to the AIDS (at the same time in the US our gay brothers & sister were fighting the Reagan Administration who had very little care for the 'Gay disease). Thus from our collective previous experiences with pandemics we were primed to face CoVid. Politically, Australia is not in any way as polarised as the US. (We still have a few extreme whack jobs - though they are small in number). Regarding CoVid, our (at the time) conservative federal government joined forces with our 6 state & 2 territory governments and ran combined cabinet which oversaw the nation's response to CoVid. There were individual differences, though generally speaking we worked as one collective group. Vaccine uptake was broad and when lockdowns & restrictions were instituted the majority of us were compliant (there were exceptions - which were reported in the most dishonest & outrageous fashion by Fox in the US).
So, in overly simplistic terms, as nation we have 'freely' accessible healthcare and hospital care, we're good at public health campaigns and we do not have an extremely polarised political environment as the US currently does, and the majority of us comply with the health advice that was formulated to limit the spread of CoVid. Also CoVid medications, testing, hospital care & the later self RAT tests were all free. In a sense, we're very similar countries superficially - culturally we're completely different. Hope that helps answer your question.
@@harvey1965 That's some great insight @harvey1965 Thanks for sharing
