I think the first lead was Troy, and the second lead was Mossy. Don't underestimate Troy's guitar playing. I haven't seen a lot of Troy's guitar playing, but what I have seen looked solid, natural, and like he's spent a lot of time with a guitar under his armpit.

Troy is a country and western singer so that is likely why they are tuned down a bit.
