I discovered him 3 years ago. He's 23 now. I was utterly blown away then, with his unearthly abilities. I've seen and heard the gamete of amazing up and coming guitarists. He is years beyond any seasoned pro.
I grew up listening to all the guitar heroes, from Hendrix, Paige, Iome, Santana, Angus, EVH, Dime, to the many others unmentioned. I had been asking myself... whose NEXT?
Enter Marcin, to answer that question, without a doubt, in my honest opinion.
Nevertheless, there are hi-hats and snare accompaniments along with bass notes here and there, in post production.
I can't get enough of this guy.

Marcin is very talented. He started playing a guitar at the age of 10. He says he never practices more than 4-5 hours daily. It's important to play more efficiently and not just long.
I recommend to you his NBA half-time show. See him play live.

There is a third option: Change up your playing and incorporate all these new techniques and styles into your playing. Spend your practice time (4 hours per day max) on mastering and improving these techniques. Focus only on your weakest points and keep moving. This is what Marcin does.
If you do this, you may never be as good as Marcin, but you'll be good. And you'll be interesting.

Wykonanie jest perfekcyjne i mistrzowskie, bez dwóch zdań. Nie można nie podziwiać, ale jednocześnie klimat i sens oryginału uległy całkowitemu zagubieniu. Więc warto się zastanowić czemu właściwie służy muzyka. Eksponowaniu artysty czy eksponowaniu przekazu jaki muzyka ze sobą niesie.

Marseeeeeeen. No high hat he hits the strings in one sweep above the top bridge, he has percussion "inside" the guitar. Thumb nail is used in everything, he wears gel nails on his thumb. Yes they are all doing that these days, see Tim Hensen of Polyphia, Ichika Nito from Japan, and Alexandr Misko of Russia

Not saying I don’t love Marcin I actually do…. But my ability to access his competence at that level doesn’t exist….. I hear and it’s magic but I watch him and I know I am seeing something that is possibly not human, I don’t even understand what the F is going on.
