The glued tape changes the sound (acoustics) guitar. Marcin also hits these places (drum effect / rhythm), which different from the non-tape places. Greetings ( (tape, of course, does not work in the case of electric instruments 😁 )
The tape keeps the pick-up in the right angle. He tilts it so he can have more space to play percussively. Does not change the sound. The single stripe is to cover the piece of laquer that cracked on the surface. Hope this helps 😊

His guitar didn't know it can play like that until Marcin came into its life.

Sometimes he tunes his guitar there and buck. Here he detuned it to play Carmen Habanera in a different key. Awsome abilities!!!

He is NOWHERE close to Chopin. Szopen was a COMPOSER who made melodies. Marcin just change those.
@@VoidCosmonaut Check Marcin's SALT or BABA YAGA. He composed it when he was 16 so he made melodies. Of course he isnt as great composer as Chopin :)
