He does this beautifully. Completely different vibe than the angels but equally as remarkable in my humble opinion. I'm so glad for the way you show appreciation. Thanks mate.
What about the crowd. They came to see Cold Chisel play their hits of bluesy hard hitting rock n rock and they adlib a Ray Charles song. The crowd just goes with it and appreciate the talent. Love that.
Wow ... I have no words ... didnt know this cover ... a true masterpiece... Sir Ray should be so proud ... thank you so much VK ... bless you ... on my special list today and forever 🎶🖤💜
Pretty sure Ray would approve!
And that was the last song of the night :). Georgia was always one of my fave songs. Mossy did a great cover.
This was so good. I really enjoyed this rendition
Lord have mercy
Absolutely love it!! My favourite performance by Ian and of course you can't beat a song by Ray - pure magic. I have no musical background but that guitar was off the charts - WOW!!! Thank you VK for your reaction, as always genuine and astute 👍😃🎵
Now this is the shit and when this man sat next tome on a plane I was blown away
U seen it line
Wow. Sitting next to greatness. Did you talk to him, or sink into your seat with admiration?
Hell yeah that sounds awesome
I did speak to him and he was softly spoken and a legend he had snake skin boots on
@@errolgrierson430 Just as I imagined. Thanks for the insight. He is one great artist.
That was a gorgeous cover of such a classically beautiful song, made even more special by the story of the camera man. You pick up on the smallest details that most of us would miss, it’s great because it makes me appreciate the music and artists so much more. 🖤
I'm glad you enjoyed this! It was so amazing. Apparently those small details annoy some people so I'm glad you appreciate them 😉 love and blessings to you 🙏🏻💜
@@vkmusic2727 fuck those apples. In this case apples being those that don’t appreciate the small things 😆
Ian Moss has an amazing voice , and guitar skills.Love all his performances. This was beautiful ❣️ Love your reaction. .If you like Ray Charles you will love ‘Ray Charles and John Farnham Crown Casino 1997. Halfway through performance John has to improvise as Ray’s earpiece is faulty. It is so obvious that Ray loves John. So good.😂
Great reaction video. Your description of Ian's voice is spot on.......pure like running water. I'm going to steal this description. I was at this concert and have been a huge fan all my life and finally someone nailed how to describe Ian's voice rather than the normal soulful. In 2016 I was also lucky enough to see Ian Moss doing an acoustic show..... it was the night after Prince died and Mossy sang purple rain as a tribute........that was something else. Keep up the great work I love your insight........ you know your shit.
Sweet and clear like moonlight through the pines
I was at this concert in the Sydney Entertainment Centre, it was bitter-sweet coz it was an awesome concert but it was also their last concert before they broke up.
Awesome you got to go to that.
I was there too, It was unreal. They also sang It's only make believe by Conway Twitty ,it's on their Barking Spiders album
@donnaandy4186 yes! Jimmy in the Pink shirt with no buttons done up, my poor little heart was beating double time lol
I sooooooooo LOVE Ian's version of this American classic. His voice is clear and cutting and filled with love for his art. Yes, you need to go back and listen to the guitar introduction as your concentration was focused on the words. Kudos to the cameraman.
I just love how much he's enjoying showing off his take on this. How proud he is of the reaction he's getting. Truly earned!
I'm referring to Ian ofc. He can't stop smiling!
Ian Moss, is an absolute World Class Guitarist, and to top it off a fantastic singer…and has a wonderful solo career too …..with a brand new studio album….. check Nullarbor Plain by Ian Moss.
I'm on it. He's fantastic for sure.
Amazing 😊
Thank you 😊
Great reaction, Great song
Thank you 😊
great reaction, I love your perspective.
Thank you, I appreciate you 😊
They disbanded in 1983 but over the years have got back together (1997-1999) (2003) and (2009).
You have to do ' breakfast at sweethearts ' one of my faves Chisel songs
Mossy can sing and play, and Don doesn't get enough credit for his musicianship. You need to do "Janelle" by Cold Chisel. This band will end up being a favourite of yours, if not already. As i mentioned early on, i have them alongside Zeppelin and Metallica as my favourite bands, and its due to their collective skill level, variety and the band's whole attitude to the music they deliver.
Definitely will check that one out at some point. Cold chisel has so much talent. Thanks for tuning in 🙏🏻🙂
Think Mossy was into Hendrix.
Definitely seems like it.
I was thinking, maybe this could be Donald Trump’s swan song, then maybe not!.
I’m guessing you liked this. 🍻🇦🇺🦘
