World of MONSTERS something called an "Angler"; I'm picturing this as a 9ft tall necromorph with the ribcage spread open in to a massive mouth lined with teeth, that attaches a boney and muscular tentacle to a secondary host; which mimics normal human motion and speech that works to basically lead a new host to the slaughter.
I got a good necromorph for you it's like a lobster looking creature with eight smaller shovel like limbs, two large claws , two arms with three long fingers and two double bladed slasher type arms it has a long spike ended tounge Wich it uses to infect like the infector, it digs up Graves and transforms the dead into new necromorphs .these necromorphs have a greenish color , the name of this creature Is The Defiler

I think necromorphs have to actually be the most disgusting and terrifying thing ever created. They are truly the stuff of absolute nightmares.

Imagine, necromorphs invade earth
Appearance aside, can we just take a moment to talk about how _painful_ these transformations must be when the victim is still alive? It’s one thing when it’s just their reanimated corpses, but imagine the immense pain these people are in as their bones rapidly grow, twist, and deform to horrific proportions, as their internal temperature rises to an unfathomable degree to the point their very flesh melts away, or the skin and body molds together as they grow new limbs from their intestines or other organs. And even after it’s all said and done, they’re still mentally trapped within the body. Physically, they have no control, their bodies simply on autopilot. But mentally they’re still alive inside, watching as they slaughter friends, colleagues, and loved ones with zero discrimination.
For sure, I hope you've checked out my videos where I went in depth on these guys, this point would've been great to add there.
Is implied guardian are still alive and the corruption doesn't let them die
The transformation process generates so much heat that the victim's blood just boils inside them. An example of that is at the beggining of DS2 when that guy turns in front of Isaac. You can literally see his head smoking.
Only a few of them are have a bit of consciousness in like the wall guardian and the one with the explosive arm one though the second one is debatable.
Which means dead space is a euthanasia simulator
I love the Necromorph designs. Shame some of them were passed up. I think something that's semi-aquatic, like a crocodilian necro, or something that swings from the trees like gibbons and spider monkeys, with their already freakishly long limbs, would be absolutely terrifying to face. Twitchers freak me out the most due to their spastic mannerisms and I really loved the Tormentor for some reason. Stalkers are also high on my list of faves as they look amazing and introduced a new tactic to take them out. 😱

Edgar Deloera in the novels, but in game necromorphs are infinitely scarier. Flood monster designs are just less scary as well.

I was tellin my wife she needs to either watch gameplay or play herself so we did. We had to start on dead space 2 i got past the "tutorial" and the beginning after you have a weapon to defend yourself and i just handed her the controller. Almost as soon as i do, i said something to the extent of "im almost certain everyones dead youre fine" and we heard NNNNGUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH and then she got flung across the room and we laughed harder than anyone ever should playing a horror game. It was the mix of the timing the sound we werent expecting and issacs body blasting off like team rocket.

The text may be long but today i am inspired for making fan made necromorphs
Pusher:These necromorphs has a grabber-like appearance but without the long neck,his attack consist in draging his victim near him and throw them away damaging them with his bladed tentacle that is located in the chest
Bloater:These necromorphs has a explosive-like attack but can self-detonate 5 times without dying,he has a explosive yellow sack around their legs,arms and neck,each sack in the limbs can explode in a deadly but short radius,he dies when all of the sacks is destroyed before exploding
Maneater:Those necromorphs are a combination of overweight reanimated corpses(usually male hosts),his whole body has a enormous fanged mouth big enough to swallow 6 full grown corpses,he also shoots small organic explosive pods from its mouth
Cannons:Also later known as Launchers,Those dreadful stationary necromorphs has nasty corruption overgrowth in its whole back,this overgrowth has a lot of holes in it,each hole can shoot chemical filled pods that explodes in contact with anything in range
Necromorphs Anatomy:
Pusher;The pusher has a thin body along with his spine bone that is exposed outside the body,his arms are fused together and moved to the chest to make a large bladed tentacle that can extend a few feet away from its victim,his legs are disfigured and its bent to the back making it have a grasshopper like appearance,his is almost blind because his skin is covering its right eye and half the left eye(except his mouth),but his mouth can split appart and its covered with razor sharp teeth
Bloater:The bloater has a tall inflated body and stretched inflated limbs,he has orange glowing eyes,the yellow sacks around the arms goes to his wrists until to the biceps,the yellow sacks around the legs goes to his ankles until to his knees,his neck is covered with 3 fleshy yellow sacks,his mouth has small sharp fangs powerfull enough to rip off a person's arm
Maneater:The maneater is a huge necromorph,he has mangled features and his mouth its fused with its body along with a nasty fleshy corruption growth that is a size of a full grown tiger shark,his mouth has large razor sharp fangs covering every inch of the monster's mouth and mass,his small explosive organic pods shooter its located inside its mouth,also he is like the guardian(he is always on a wall like the guardian but larger)
Cannon/Launcher:Those stationary necromorphs are big and has a fleshy disguting appearance,he is always pointing his back to its victim,his has a deformed face on the chest that is hidden by his corruption growth in his back,his back has holes that can glow a weak yellowish light and shoots chemical filled explosive pods from its holes,he can't walk because he is forced into a kneeling position like wheezers but exposing their back

@@frost3193 Most good things need to be purchased, that's how commercial sales work, believe me I hate them more than anyone, for what they tried to do to battlefront, Battlefield and killing beloved game studious. They're a cancerous growth on the gaming community and should be purged, but they also made Dead Space one and two, plus that Jedi fallen order game looks decent

I learned a bit more about the Marker that I think you'll be interested in. The glyphs on the Marker is actually the genetic code to create Necromorphs. The example of this is in Dead Space: Martyr

Stalkers are definitely my favorite. They seemed intelligent and so eager to play with their prey.
I actually love their chirps! And freaky as hell when they perk around a corner and stare at you! Do slammin'!
The Leviathan was always my favourite. The buildup to the fight is so suspenseful, and it must have been shocking for the time to see a monster that enormous in what was expected to be a conventional, intimate survival horror experience. You don’t even see the full scale of it, just the face, but the creature is purported to be much larger .
that is the difference between this franchise and others, the variation of its creatures is so vast. It will be interesting to see a necromorph with an anomaly that partially retains his human consciousness, but becomes corrupted since he is "immortal" and wanted to merge his mind with the marker to control all the necromorphs in that part of the universe, believing himself to be a God ... I can't wait for you to make a video about the lovecraft creatures! thanks for the video great as usual.

I just started getting into this series and I have to say that Necromorphs are the very thing that nightmares are made of. I kind of feel like they are a reimagining of John Carpenter's "The Thing".
in the first dead space I was running from the ubermorph and ran into a dead end. I was SO TERRIFIED lol (I know it's 2020 keep up the good work)

A new necromorph that still has a good level of consciousness and is telling isaac kill me and other sounds of pain. Appearance skin ranging from pale to necromorph green eye's always white and long sharp claws and jagged teeth when it doesn't see prey it can be heard moaning in pain.
I got other necromorph idea's too.

@@andijusita4406 theories say that the Ubermorph is a juvenile Hivemind. Take note when the necromorph raided the earthgov facility, it lead them inside.
The Roller: A large necromorph with an armored back that can curl up into a ball and then chase after prey. They are used to hunt down humans attempting to escape via vehicle. Though impenetrable from the front while rolling, they can still be attacked via their sides.

One of a kind
The image of the creeper sticking a huge tentacle directly to the mouth of one of the habitants in the ship made me think: Ok, this has gone too far.
Yet, it's a pretty good image, and it gave me an idea that he's trying to grab the organs of the habitants of the ship to gain more mass and become bigger, and using their bodies to get even more mass, which is epic.
Nest + hunter/regenerator =anoyying af

It'd be cool to see a necromorph with retractable claws that can camouflage itself and sneak up on you.
Amazing video, both the narration and the pics.
A chameleon necromorph would’ve been awesome to see. Either blending in with general surroundings or maybe it’s something you only encounter in an area with corruption, where it blends in with the viscera on the walls until you’re within range and then attacks. Maybe it can even “burrow” beneath the outer layer of corruption, forcing you to track its movement, and then it bursts out to try and grapple the player or even just knocks you off your feet. The death animations could’ve involved the chameleon pulling you into the corruption and forcefully melding your flesh into it. For lore purposes, they could’ve been cultivators for the corruption to spread faster, acting almost likes worms tending the soil but also serving an offensive role if they encounter any life along the way. They could even create traps in the corruption that you have to avoid stepping on or bumping into. Cool idea imo.

When I first met the ubermorph in dead space 2 i thought "another easy kill "then I shot of his legs and arms and he started twitching and regrew everything and kept coming after me let's just say before chapter 13 i did more killing than running but after chapter 13 I basically turned into a little bitch

I didn’t know this till it was pointed out to me, but if you look at the grave robber you can see the bodies of Ramirez, Samuel Irons and Heather, a women who was killed while trying to run out of the communal shower, all characters from Dead Space: Downfall. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it.

The Xenomorphs would only win because they have acid for blood, the nicomorphs are just humans that are reanimated to be aliens
I believe necromorphs would win due to the fact they are already dead and can assimilate dead xenos. If a xeno ate or implanted an egg inside a necro, the necromorph pathogen could infect it or worse and add biomass to make new ones.
A xeno may be a more intelligent and has a brain to know that necros are rotten corpses so they would escape but they lose purely because they are living animals who’s goal is to expand a living population, not a dead one.
Xenomorphs have acid blood. So they would win.
What happens when you combine xenomorphs with the thing? You get Necromorphs

It's not that the dead are distorted that's scary, it's that each serves a purpose and many give the player the doubt wether some necro morphs might still be somewhat concious.
a new enemy type I would like to see would be one named "Nightmare" a parasite-type of enemy that can create hallucinations and even posses from body to body and cannot be killed as it will only slow down when "Defeated" some sort of nemesis-like enemy that chases you. Another one would be "Matchmaker" male/female infected who are looking for a partner to "Mate" with by converting their victim and become a nest from where necromorphs with human-like traits will spam from.

You should do a vs with the Newborn from Aliens series vs Pumpkin head from the pumpkin head series. It would be cool considering how they look so much alike in size and appearance. I am curious to see that one go down.

GargamelGold Thats true but we do see how strong it is and its physical traits and some intelligence. He broke a queen xenomorphs jaw off with 1 swipe. But i agree there isnt a very large sample size to go off of.

I got a necromorph idea, its a slasher that is large with the ability to become a large spider like creature that would swallow a person and spit them back out of a slasher its like an evolved infector and it looks like a large spider like creature with a head that has teeth and mouth parts for a head as it would be a boss fight that would be swallowing hundreds of bodys at a time.

I actually thought Swarmers are infant Infectors. Since their shape looks a bit identical and they both jump to their victims.

If those people were still alive while they are mutated, imagine how painful it would be. Getting your mouth split, your bones gets placed on your mouth to replace teeth and makes sharp deadly teeth, and heck your body being ripped off to replace certain places it would feel like heck to be honest.

How about what happens to their consciousness if their bodies were absorbed into the Bretheren Moon after death and conversion?
The question that was never really answered is how the individual species arises (some really have an explanation ex: Pregnant, Twicher, Lurker, Pack, ETC but others like Stalker, Puker, Fodder, Leaper, Infectors, ETC were never really explained)
