- It may not be April Fool's, but let's celebrate Hercule anyway! Today we take a look at the possibility that Hercule (based on evidence from Saikyo Jump) may have wanted to seek revenge for his fallen master and find the likes of Jackie Chun/Master Roshi to train him to win against Cyborg Tao. It's time for Hercule to face against the androids, 19 and Gero. However, we now have Android YAMCHA helping them out too? WHAT IF Hercule Trained Like Goku? WHAT IF Hercule Was A Z-Fighter?

@@michaelsegal7443 Kind of. Roshi never realized Goku's saiyan nature. He was going under the assumption that he was dealing with a normal (if prodigious and a little wierd) kid. Goku at the start wasn't a godly being. He was a country bumpkin that was yearning for a learning about some fighting. Partly from being raised by a martial artist and partly from his Saiyan nature. Roshi thought him respect and diligence. (And all the lecherous tendencies just kinda bounced off.)

I like the idea of Hercule/Mr Satan after character development feeling a need to prove humans can keep up with sayains and proceeding to keep up with Goku since unlike the other humans he has been shown to keep up on his training.
@@ColonelBragg he might actually take the title of the strongest human z fighter currently. It was always assumed that tien was the strongest human because of the fact that he kept up with his training, as seen in filler. Krillin and yamcha stopped, and the former didn't start training again until TOP arc in Super rolled around.
I can literally imagine a filler episode where hercule spars with his daughter and the other human z fighters, just chatting about various topics

I love the idea of this somehow ending up with Hercule being the hero of the world, like the world thinks he is in the original timeline
I always preferred Hercule. Like the Roman/Greek god, Hercules, he’s the people’s hero regardless of being somewhat of a fraud.

@@Verm1n believe it or not they are not exactly the same... When the Romans took in the Greek Mythos... They didn't just change a bunch of names around but also made significant changes to this like the Gods Temperaments, and also to a lot of the stories themselves. For example Hercules was a lot more violent and angry than Heracles was.

Hercule is actually a great martial artist. I'm so excited to watch this video because I would love to see how far he could go if he knew how to train with and harness his ki.

Roshi probably "knows" how or at least probably has a very good idea about how flying works. But it was a technique invented by his rival the Crane Hermit who he was on very bad terms with. Roshi's refusal to learn was/is a matter of personal pride, not inability.

He probably did to some extent, but it took Roshi 50 YEARS to invent the Kamehameha wave. I'm assuming that even as the legitimately gifted martial artist he is, it would take him a decade or more to become proficient at using Ki.
Videl being much younger could learn quicker but is still a rank amateur compared to even Chaotzu.
Pretty sure he just doesn't want to get involved with the big guy battles as him having ki will increase his power level and will cause him to become a target to power level sensors

Yeah, Videl was a shell of her former self after the tournament.
He might be stronger than tien. Tien was the strongest currently because he kept up with his training. If hercule kept up with his own, then he might be just as strong as if not stronger than tien
Hercule is one of those characters that grew more and more on me the older I got, I mean, he dedicated his life to martial arts, but happened to study at a dojo that knew nothing of ki control.
I swear if this doesn’t blow up like the raditz one I’ll be upset. Just imagine Satan being a Z fighter. It wouldn’t change the story much, but it could make for some great new things

I think it’ll change the story a ton. Remember, despite being weaker than any Z-fighter, Hercule survived the likes of Cell and Kid Buu in the original, and now he’ll be even stronger. There are so many questions. Will he still attempt to be the World Martial Arts champ after all of this? Will Hercule learn to fly, which will allow Videl to fly by proxy? Will Gohan and Videl be childhood friends due to Hercule becoming a Z-fighter? Will Videl become a Z-fighter like her dad? So many questions!
I really enjoyed this premise and feel that you handled it far better than just an April fool's day joke, I think this line should be fleshed out some more. If Satan is more powerful then Videl will be just as much and the comedic opportunities of his interactions with the regular gang could be priceless.
I say let’s get Mr. Satan, Krillin, Yamaha, Roshi, and Videl together and attempt a Super Human God ritual. 😂😂😂

I know this is just an April Fool's What If, but I like this idea! I've already seen a Mr. Satan based story called "The Legend of Mr. Satan", where Mr. Satan enters the 23rd Budokai and becomes allies with Goku.
I really hope Mr Satan becomes acquainted with Goku in this What If, since I want to see Gohan and Videl become even closer with one another much earlier on!

austin lane I always wonder why Raditz needed Goku. The anime said they needed his help conquering a planet that was a bit to tough for them to handle. But when Napa planted the Sybamen they said that each was as strong as Raditz who at the time was stronger than Goku.

I'm not trying to be mean, I am a fan of Toriyama. I love the overall grandiose nature of his plots, his whimsical humor, and I think his character development- when he doesn't drop the ball between sagas or plot lines- sets the industry standard. But I really wish he was better at world building, keeping things causally coherent and keeping all the characters he makes relevant in some way.
In other words, I wish Toriyama could do what he does so well over short periods of time, over much longer stretches. Masako seems to have no trouble solving that problem, sometimes even doing callbacks across an entire whatif that spans several sagas. ...Cept for Yamcha. Even Masako dumps on Yamcha. :(

I'll never stop asking for my holy "What if Goku was the one and only Super Saiyan, as per the legend" what if ;_;
Then they’d be screwed by the time the Cell games came along. Without Gohan to become a Super Saiyan, and by extension a Super Saiyan 2, the world would be doomed.
It would change too much, except for one possibility. Had this what if/fanfic idea of cell absorbing all villains and breaking out of hell, breaking the universe in tow. Gogeta would fuse with Gotenks to form Gogetenks but fail. Then, Gohan would learn Super Human to beat Ivil (the hybrid villain).
'Super Human' isn't a thing though. And I don't think fusions can fuse.

@@Zarreth cell cant even go to hell, because he was never alive, he is just a organic robot, sadly canon says he cant return, unless time travel is involved, and as technically the time line were cell exists don`t exist anymore, even that would be hard to believe, they destroyed both cells, from the present and the future, the last hope would be someone building him with some kind of backup so he would have the same personality
This has to become a series, also a suggestion: What if Krillin trained on the lookout between the end of Dragon Ball and the beginning of Z.
you know this can cause some serious changes, I mean with Hercule actually becoming a capable fighter, the cells games would have ended much differently, heck with how power levels are in this what if, krillin could be a great help against Raditz when he arrives, I know this is a more comical "what if", but it is thought provoking.
There’s more to consider. Because Gohan and Videl are around the same age, Hercule becoming a Z-fighter could allow them to be childhood friends rather than them meeting in high school. Perhaps Videl could become a Z-fighter when she comes of age. This is what makes a good What if. The amount of questions it can spawn.

I can see it now. A typical Dragon Ball movie trailer showing our heroes fighting the new villain. Halfway through, our heroes are on their backs with the villain standing over them. Then Hercule shows up, the villain comes in for a punch, only to be blocked by Hercules palm. End trailer.
Second trailer all you hear is Hercules voice

I imagine seeing Hercule training enough to be stronger not krillin level maybe demon king piccolo just so he can actually be strong enough to take on the best humanity has to offer
Meme Patrol in this part, Hercule reaches a power level of 250. King Piccolo was 260, and since this is still before Raditz shows up, Hercule can get stronger than you think.

This was honestly pretty awesome! You're quite talented imitating the voices as well. It's ridiculous to picture Hercule doing a Kamehameha but I grudgingly have to admit it makes sense with the story arc you made

Unfortunately, Mr. Satan probably wouldn't be any stronger than any of the other human Z-fighters. Humans really got the shaft in the series as a whole.
Yeah, they may not be able to get as strong as Saiyans, but that's no excuse. There are always new techniques to learn; I'm honestly surprised no one ask Goku to teach them the Kaio-Ken.
TheAltrox his durability outclasses most of the other Z-fighters, being able to survive the likes of Cell and Kid Buu. This being a What if, and an April fools what if at that, can allow Hercule to surpass even Krillin, considering Krillin gave up fighting and I don’t see Hercule doing the same.

Here’s my what if: what if the other two saiyans were revived on earth during the 3 years of training? Raditz and Nappa, back to life. It’s not that dangerous since the other z warriors can keep them in check, because Krillin is more than enough to put them down again if they act out.
Or a what if Goku remembers his mother and father by some kinda bonk to the head or something

Mr Satan has a pretty strong base. If he could master Ki, he would be an amazing fighter.
Perhaps that's why he refuses to learn it. Because Toriyama knows that if Hercule was able to harness and use Ki like the others. Even Beerus would be running scared from the Champ!

I actually enjoyed it and would like to see where this goes. I can imagine he beefs up the school of Satan and Krillin may be more help since he actually got stronger. He may join in the fight against Raditz. I'm really curious to see what unfolds.

No, you’re not the only one. It’s like the attacks’ names. Some people prefer “Destructo Disc”, others prefer “Kienzan”. As long as the character can be recognized by whatever name you say, people can get the gist of what you say.
my only complaint is that Hercule was surprised turtle could talk. Sentient talking animals have been clearly established as a fairly common thing in dragon ball.
What i think is really interesting about Hercule is that he is a legit master martial artist who never utilized the use of Ki. With the right training, he could be exceptionally powerful.
Please continue this what if, goku meeting hercule early, sayan saga, this has many possibilities… Videl actually having the ability to repel energy blasts and use the Kamehameha.
