    ok this is gonna sound just a little silly but i teared up during this. i've been working so hard towards keeping my body in shape and sometimes it's hard to find the willpower. i kept stumbling during the dancing bits of this video and i kept telling myself it was because i was clumsy and overweight and uncoordinated. but, i pulled through! i kept pushing, and by the time it came to the cool down stretch, and the lead dancer reassured the audience that steps are steps no matter how small, and it felt so personal. thank you for making me smiles gals, this is such a wholesome form of self love and i'm excited to explore more videos 💗

      You said it! I felt the same thing. This is the first exercise I’ve done in a long time and even though it hurt and was difficult, I felt inspired to push through. It was so encouraging to hear her kind words. Love this so much!

    Very overweight and I'm a writer, so I'm mostly sitting down all day, plus I've been very sick with Crohns disease for the past year. I realized I need to get myself up and moving again and today was the first day. I can only do three minutes so far, which I know isn't a lot, but I'm doing it every 90 minutes plus some stretching. I'm hoping each day I can go a little more until I can do the whole thing and move on to the next. Very excited to start my journey!

    My reaction to this work-out was so unexpected, I am crying. I am covered in sweat but my heart is filled with so much joy and I feel so grateful to have this body of mine, nothing at all as the beauty standards of our society but so amazing! I mean, I AM MOVING! Thank you a lot for this, your words encouraged me a lot and I will be coming back tomorrow to feel like this once again and everyday!

      Girl I feel you on that. I do Jane Fonda's lean routine and its so much fun but I know must look silly trying to keep up with them. I just try to feel the music and move lol. That workout is on RUclips. You may want to check it out I think it's so much fun

    I have struggled moving recently. My joints hurt, I’m still fairly young, in my late 20s and I have difficulties with my digestion and chronic conditions. This helped me move today, thank you so much. I’ve been trying so hard to get back into moving, I used to be very active and in the last few years, I have not had any willpower or motivation and stopped my body from moving completely. To my surprise, I am sweating a lot and I didn’t even realise until I finished the workout. Thank you again and everyone else’s comments helped & encouraged me today.

    Thank you for announcing what you’re going to do in enough time to switch gears!!! To many videos don’t and it gets frustrating. There’s always an assumption I’ve done that video enough to mimic no problems. Some people need the time to transition. Thank you again!!

    l a am 42 with severe fibromyalgia and this workout is amazing. I feel great after doing this and I was able to keep up without causing any pain. I highly recommend this workout to anyone doing their best to stay in shape with medical issues....even those with none.

    Thank you for your kind words at the end. This is the first time I’ve finished a workout in almost a year, due to severe mental health problems. Your kindness helped me expel my judgmental thoughts and make it all the way to the end, even though I was stumbling and had to slow down at many parts. Hopefully some time soon I’ll be healthy enough to give it my all the entire workout

    I have had ACL and meniscus surgery in both of my knees. This workout was perfect: low impact on my joints, but lovely speed up of the heart rate 💜 Thank you Deja

    This was such an amazing workout! I was sweating but smiling the entire time. The best part of this workout is that it is low impact and no jumping! I love what Deja said during the cooldown, "You chose to move today, and you didn't give up. Thank yourself for pushing through it all.     This video is so helpful. I have not worked out in about 2 1/2 years. Thanks for this video. Remember ladies, if you have not worked out in a while always start out with Low-Impact and work your way up way to medium and then high Impact. Keep working out ladies and strengthen those things that remain.

    Mitzi, 30 minute low impact, best class out there for me. I am 68, in Heart Failure but your classes are muscle controlled and simple moves. I can control HR by arms. Thanks.

    Still in the pandemic two years after the video was originally posted...I am so grateful I found this today! I tried a different one of your workouts that was a little too advanced, and I was already feeling pretty bad about my body so I almost gave up. Thank you for the kind words and fun dances- it made me happy to move again and less focused on my appearance since I was busy smiling :)

    I got put on medical rest for a few months . Doctors said to stick to low impact workouts with minimal weights . As a body builder I felt like my life was over , fitness is my outlet and it hurt to hear. But then I found this and it occurred to me there’s still things I can do to move my body and keep me happy. Thanks for this :) I hope to get better with the dance moves over time .

    Just in case you needed a reason to convince you to do this workout....I am disabled but I needed something low impact to do for exercise. Dancing is what I used to do, so I was excited when this said "low impact dance workout."
    And it's absolutely perfect. I just finished the workout, and it wasn't too much for me, and they take little 8 count dance breaks that had me feeling like I was in my dance classes again. Thank you so much for providing the workout instruction I needed, but for also choosing an instructor like her. Her words of encouragement throughout the whole video hit home for me, and I feel confident to start on this journey of trusting my body again. Thank you so much. If your disabled or suffering with chronic illness then this is 10/10 the workout for you!

    I really appreciate this Low-Impact dance workout Popsugar! I'm really passionate about fitness, actually became certified to be a Group Fitness Instructor on the side because of this passion. But I've been going through some severe depression the past few months and all my usual hobbies that I enjoy (re: fitness) it's been hard to get the usual joy out of it, and there are some days, like today where I don't want to do anything at all. But these low-impact workouts make it attainable for me to get moving and I always feel better afterwards. So appreciate this and all your energy in the video a lot

    Love this video. I've just started working out again for the first time in years, due to severe depression. This video in fun and gives a challenging workout that anyone can do. The instructor is so inspiring and can make me a bit teary eyed with her encouragement. I'm absolutely loving POPSUGAR videos in general. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to have a fun but useful workout.

    This was so fun!! I'm older but love to dance and love the challenge of learning the new steps. I stunk at it mostly "getting it" at the end of the step, sequence BUT I HAD A BALL and kept moving. From one teacher (not dance) to another, this instructor KNOWS how to teach and INSPIRE!! Thanks. I"ll keep doing this one, master it a little more and keep having fun. I lOVE seeing different body shapes also. We come in all sizes and shapes. Woman power!! I was born petite, got those genes. Nothing to do with me! But your girls move so MUCH better than I can! I thank each of you for my work out today!!

    This little lady is warm and caring and encouraging through the workout. It is truly low impact but gets you moving. The dance moves are fun. As we are working through having to be at home while all the gyms are closed (because of covid-19) I can use this workout to tide me over until I can go back to the gym and do aqua classes again.     I have tried a few low impact video dance workouts and this particular one is my favorite because Deja keeps encouraging us, and flipping the "own it" into positive ownership of taking care of our bodies. In addition, I started this tonight with low back-ache, and now it is gone. Like some other commenters, I am very slow to learn dance moves and frequently lose my balance, but Deja's encouragement makes it fun and low-stress on my psyche and ego. Thank you for posting this video.

    Great work out, even for someone who struggled to keep up lol I struggled with a lot of the moves, and by time I figured one out it moved on to the next one (I'm not saying anything bad about the work out) I ended up just doing my own thing which was compleatly different to you guys but you gave me the motivation to keep going even if I wasn't following you guys.     The best topic of this workout video is the instructer took an overweight girl in her group and it proves that all overweight people can definitely do this ....I am 15 years old from Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩 And I am 57 kg .I am 5 foot 1 inch and my goal is 46 to 47 kg .

    This was the perfect workout for me tonight... I didn't feel like moving a muscle after a long day of work, sitting in front of the computer.     Been a little down with Covid. Been doing hitfit routines. While effective, they are not a lot of fun. Googled dance exercise and found the Popsugar Fitness routines. All the instructors are so friendly and encouraging. Their kind words bring tears to my eyes. And the dance moves are SO FUN. Thank you so much Popsugar instructors.

    I used to be very athletic but last year I just did less and less. The quarantine really made me realize how much I missed being active like this and your video really helped me get really motivated again! At first I was a little overwhelmed but how little muscle I still have from when I was younger, but you just encouraging your audience by saying any little step is a step forward and it was really small but it made me so happy. Thank you for doing what you do!

    I'm old and love to dance but very weak. So glad I found this woman's online dance workout moves. I plan to try 30 days of this and see if at end of 30 or 60 days if I can keep up. The instructor has such good moves, I wonder if I will even peek at her Beyond Beginner stuff. Thank you! and your dancers in background made it all look so simple. Love this.

    I appreciate all the free workouts, but lately there were so many dance workouts... I know lots of people love them, but please bring back some variety (Barre, Pilates, Kickboxing, HIIT) with our favorite trainers like Kit Rich, Marnie Alton, Lisa Corsello, Jeanette Jenkins, Christa DiPaolo and Raneir Pollard!

    I am obese, haven't worked our in years. Recently fell and ripped ligaments and did something with my knee. Today I decided to work out but needed something that wouldn't hurt me further. This was perfect! And the encouragement you provide throughout the workout kept me going until the end. Thank you!!! I plan to do this again tomorrow.🥰

    First time working out with this channel, haven’t done cardio in months, thought low impact would be great, I had to take a lot of breaks, I still loved it, my motto is: even if I have to mumble through it I am going to do it, thank you!!

    Hi from NZ, loved the positivity, and seeing different body types. Have re started my fitness journey, am over weight and have fibro, so focusing on movement and exercises for knees , etc while making small changes along the way. in past few weeks already seeing the changes. This was fun, my co ordination needs some work but got through it, loved was a cool down at the end.

    Great instructor on this video! Was able to do the moves reasonably well even though I am 63! Got a good sweat on and I don't feel like I overdid anything. Love the shoes and I want some! So cute!

    I've used popsugar for awhile now! Especially during the lockdowns. I'm on day two of my period and didn't move at all yesterday (needed!) But today I wanted to move, weather was stormy so outside was a no go. This low impact dance was fun and I got a good sweat on! I don't feel dizzy which can happen on my period if I over do it with cardio. I avoided the ab section due to my cramps but I still feel great!! Adapt any exercise to suit you, like she says you're still moving and that feels awesome :D keep going everyone!!! Xxxx
