@Lord K What a subjective point of view. Doesn't fit??? It's rock music. He makes it his own very very well. There's a reason most rock drummers are often forgotten about but Travis stays in the limelight. I swear you give a rock drummer like travis credit and people have to find something negative to say. Just say he isn't your cup of tee.

I wasn't old enough to see them then as I was only 8. I got into pop punk around 14 from seeing American Pie 2 and hearing the very first song which was everytime I look for you, still my favourite Blink-182 song. ever since then I've been obessed with them. I saw them back in 2012 and again in 2014 on probably their one of their last London shows before tom left again. amazing night to remember!
Kynan's Music same, I got into rock music around 12 and some of the bands I started to like just weren’t the same as before and I wish I could go back, I got into it through the offspring tho bc my dad. The main band I wish I got into before they changed was linkin park, mainly because I wasn’t alive for nirvana 😢
I caught his stick at the pop disaster tour in 02 , And caught cypress hills drumstick when they opened for blink in 04. I’m a guitarist. Idk why I’m always catching drumsticks. :) :).

That Dogs Eating Dogs bridge is just brilliant. so musical. I love it! Those long-phrase grooves that have their own movement and varying parts are my favorite aspects of Travis' drumming, very expressive.

yeah. he's meant to be a drummer. his creativity is one of the reasons why blink is so distinctive
What’s the first song called?
This is his element. This man is a mastermind at making the most interesting and incredible sounds that compliment a song perfectly. Nothing is predictable. Never a bland second. He always does something different or tweaks something, even something small, that makes it original. As much as he does re-mixes or solos or whatever, him being a genus in the pocket, and doing cool little things, in every song, with this band will always be, in my mind, his best work. Keep it up Travis.
So many incredible licks and musical parts. Once people can get over the nostalgia of the older stuff, I think this EP is one of my favorite projects of theirs, the maturity of both the lyricism and the musicality in the instruments and the conciseness of the EP makes me want more which really only makes me want to immediately play the EP again. Bought this while I was on tour in 2013 not knowing they'd put something new out and was amazed and pleased. Travis is a very fantastic drummer and really brings something special to the songs making them more interesting, technical and dynamic.

Hey I’m a 15 year old drummer and Travis has been my role model since I was 5 to realize how to start playing and I have all of blinks autographs and 2 sticks he’s played with love you man ❤️
I always thought he was pretty good and very good for a modern rock band..... But he's definitely been practicing over the past 10 years... Not just riding on his own coattails which most successful musicians do. Very impressed. Love to see him show up at a New York / Long Island open jam session one day
yep he has shown a lot of improvement on the last 10-15 years, see lars ulrich, 30ish years playing the same , and he cant even play the old metallica stuff like he used to do , its all bout money for some musicians

Karlo Kupres Doesn't mean his technique could be better. He's broken bones over the way he plays, and yet doesn't correct his habits. The guy is super creative and the reason I got into playing, but he definitely lacks in some areas.
He is obviously doing something right if hes playing in one of the biggest pop punk bands in the world
I think there's no better drummer in this specific genre. He has been playing all his life, if he wouldn't have technique... his wrists would be crushed, so I don't think that he's technique bad at all, he has a style, that's it. Excellent drummer, please don't compare travis to like a world class jazz drummer or something like that, those comparisons are useless, a jazz player probably couldn't play punk rock as well, so...leave it at that.

Traviss is just the most natural and versatile drummer in my mind I play a lot of his music for fun on my kit and it’s the most fun and challenging for me I’m decent but an amateur player who if the energy and mood is there I’ll play 15 songs
