If I thought I could get an allocation without giving my arm and leg over sticker to own one I would sale my 911 turbo immediately. Never thought I would be in love with a Cayman. The Gt4Rs is one Hell of an entry into the Gt world!
I just love the Cayman style. Don't get me wrong, the 911 is right there too, but the Cayman just talks differently to me. A couple of buddies have GT3 RS's, and another has the GT3 so I get to see those regularly. Amazing pieces of artwork and masterpiece.
Even if by some miracle you’re able to find an allocation, dealers are marking up 100-150k for this and I don’t care how epic this car is you have to be mad to pay that and more importantly subsidize their greed. I wish Porsche would do something about how their gt models are sold
they wont and they cant cuz its the free market after all and it slipery slope for car manafacture to get involve with how there car are traded after there sold from the factory and even if they convince the dealer to not do mark up you will have some joe with conection with the dealers buying up all the stock and reselling it at a profit with the dealer taking bribe for giving him all the booking allocation like the old saying goes if there a will there a way all it takes for mark up to go away is for people to stop fighting each other like savages for this car and mark ups are amazing for company reputation i dont think prosche would want it any other way.
Is it terrible of me to say that I might prefer this to a 992 GT3? 😬 Looks so mega, this is one special machine, will sit alongside the 997 GT2RS, 996 GT3RS, 991 GT2RS, 991.2 GT3 and 911R as among Porsche Motorsport’s best work.

No doubt it's a great machine but too full track focused for a regular use...as a daily the 4 cyl 2.5 L Turbo (2019) is a much better choice ,max torque for the 4.0 comes at 5000 rpm..!!..where the 2.5 gives it as soon as 1900 rpm..and with a manual trans I made my choice already....
The 4 cylinder turbo sounds horrendous though. So much so that it barely sold and fans demanded Porsche revert back to the 6 N/A and Porsche did just that.

Everything was perfect in this video. You could really feel Rory’s passion for this car. Only thing I felt was missing was for him to give us a price tag at what the car he was driving was priced at and approximately how much these cars retail for. Other than that thought the video was great!
I’m sure they will, they have to be. I truly believe brands like Porsche and Lotus will lose customers and die, if they don’t manage to make EVs fun. Porsche delivered with the Taycan, Lotus has yet to bring out their EV model built in collaboration with Alpine, will have to watch that space. One positive to look forward to is without the engine and gearbox, there’s gonna be a renewed focus towards driving feel and handling.
Actually prefer this to the latest GT3. The 992 is such a big car now and almost GT-R sized and too unwieldy on the road. In the same way that an M2C is a better car than the M3. In my opinion the GT4 RS is the best Porsche to have and I mean just listen to it! Can only imagine how loud that induction intake howl is inches from your ears as it climbs towards 9000 revs. Pure motorsport! Great video Rory!

There is no performance deficit in terms of acceleration. GT4RS and GT3 have IDENTICAL 0-100kmph, and standing quarter mile times. And GT$RS is a FULL second quicker 0-200kmph. GT3 has better front end suspension.
