A couple of my friends who have put deposit down for the GT4 RS 2 years ago just got an email saying they won't get theirs and they will be refunding their deposits. I went with a Cayman GTS 4.0 order, and hopefully to see delivery summer next year. As much as I want a "RS", I have to be honestly with myself - how often am I going to take it to a track and push that hard.
Rory always does a great job of translating all his emotions thru the camera to us. I literally felt how enjoyable this ride was! Porsche knocked this one outta the park as usual. WHAT A MACHINE!
the new gt3rs is probably the greatest car built in the last 25 years. the downforce is absolutely mind boggling. it just sticks to the ground and goes.
at 225 mph the downfoce would be equal to the weight of the car............ lol. i want to see a 1500hp 911 turbo kitted out in the gt3rs aero package do some 1 mile runway pulls.

It reminds me of back in the day of the fire breathing sport bikes. I used to ride a ninja zx-10 back in 2004. I bought it new in 2004 and it was a monster. My friends had Honda cbr liter bikes which were much easier to ride, handle, and gave you confidence. I wanted the lightest bike with the most horsepower that could handle a curve like no other. A 720S looks and “sounds” great on paper but in reality a 992S turbo in the hands of most drivers will take the 720S to school

no one thought you could get 500hp out of a road legal na 4 litre 6 cylinder engine, and so after that it looked like there was no where else to go, then they change the game once again with 800kg downforce. consistently astonishing.

This only has 500hp because Porsche knows there is a celling for usable power, Porsche is just the best! I love Ferraris and Lamborghinis but let's be honest, if Porsche has close to a perfect mix of a great sports car those brands just add more desirability to the mix 🧐💕

The 992 GT3 RS is faster around the Nordschleife than the 991 GT2 RS and is infinitely more exciting even if it were slower. I know I'm comparing across generations here but I'm comparing a 700 hp car to a 525 hp car that is still faster so I guess that can be disregarded.
I have to say the 997 GT3 RS is my favorite, but from driving the 992 GT3 RS on the simulator (assetto corsa) for about a month now, it's exactly what they say it is, Porsche always find away to out do themselves, I agree the 992 GT3 RS is the best car ever. I want one 👍🏾💯

Far more race car than road car I’d say, for normal driving duties I’d probably prefer a 911 turbo, but for the track this thing is king of the road legal cars.

You could track this car every week for the rest of its life and it would still drive as good as it did the first time around. You wouldn't feel guilty either for ragging its arse off!
Problem with these high performance cars are actually low performance drivers that can afford them. Mere mortals such as myself could never afford one let alone being able to push it to limit. The higher the limit unfortunately the higher the speed it'll humble you.
The only thing I wish it had… was a manual. Other than that, it’s absolutely incredible. The last car with that kind of track performance was the Dodge Viper ACR-E, which went out of production 5 years ago.

I drive a 992.1 GT3 RS - Same color as this review ! *non weissach* . I sold my ‘13 997.2 manual TTS to buy it. Its a MONSTER. Revs out to 9,000 RPM W/ 7 GEARS, It NEVER wants to STOP accelerating. Foot to floor going, I am already at ~145MPH when I’m leaving 4th gear into 5th gear, with all of 5th, 6th, and 7th to GO.. I’ve driven/been in a lot. Not this. BUT If you respect her, she won’t kill you. I agree, it ONLY wants to FLY. But I’ve been enjoying it being my Daily Driver. Would I pick up a first date in it? No 😂
The ceramic brakes don't make you stop any faster, they just dissipate heat better. Braking distance is entirely based on tires for any car with brakes strong enough to wheel lock.
Petition to let Ben Collins take this exact GT3 RS around Dunsfold Aerodrome's old Top Gear Test Track as fast as possible and reveal the time
