the new gt3rs is probably the greatest car built in the last 25 years. the downforce is absolutely mind boggling. it just sticks to the ground and goes.
at 225 mph the downfoce would be equal to the weight of the car............ lol. i want to see a 1500hp 911 turbo kitted out in the gt3rs aero package do some 1 mile runway pulls.

A couple of my friends who have put deposit down for the GT4 RS 2 years ago just got an email saying they won't get theirs and they will be refunding their deposits. I went with a Cayman GTS 4.0 order, and hopefully to see delivery summer next year. As much as I want a "RS", I have to be honestly with myself - how often am I going to take it to a track and push that hard.
Love the videos, presentation and cinematography are really great. But how Rory just makes it feel like we are actually experiencing it with him and how you can see the joy in his face riding this beast. Love it!

It reminds me of back in the day of the fire breathing sport bikes. I used to ride a ninja zx-10 back in 2004. I bought it new in 2004 and it was a monster. My friends had Honda cbr liter bikes which were much easier to ride, handle, and gave you confidence. I wanted the lightest bike with the most horsepower that could handle a curve like no other. A 720S looks and “sounds” great on paper but in reality a 992S turbo in the hands of most drivers will take the 720S to school

The 992 GT3 RS is faster around the Nordschleife than the 991 GT2 RS and is infinitely more exciting even if it were slower. I know I'm comparing across generations here but I'm comparing a 700 hp car to a 525 hp car that is still faster so I guess that can be disregarded.
The ceramic brakes don't make you stop any faster, they just dissipate heat better. Braking distance is entirely based on tires for any car with brakes strong enough to wheel lock.
no one thought you could get 500hp out of a road legal na 4 litre 6 cylinder engine, and so after that it looked like there was no where else to go, then they change the game once again with 800kg downforce. consistently astonishing.

This only has 500hp because Porsche knows there is a celling for usable power, Porsche is just the best! I love Ferraris and Lamborghinis but let's be honest, if Porsche has close to a perfect mix of a great sports car those brands just add more desirability to the mix 🧐💕
I have to say the 997 GT3 RS is my favorite, but from driving the 992 GT3 RS on the simulator (assetto corsa) for about a month now, it's exactly what they say it is, Porsche always find away to out do themselves, I agree the 992 GT3 RS is the best car ever. I want one 👍🏾💯

Both the new GT3 and GT3RS are a huge step up from the previous generation. And that generation was a huge step up from the previous one. Starting to get why some people are so obsessed with Porsche
Don't like to complain but the volume on this video was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too low, especially since it's an engine & exhaust that we'd all like to hear. Good review as always from Rory tho.
Funny enough, Forza Horizon was what got me into cars. But i didnt start getting into it until I tried out the 918 Spyder. I absolutely loved the way it handled and sounded, but it looked too.. "super". But when I saw the GT3 RS, it was like love at first site. Tried it out, instantly became a Porsche fan. Now my future wish is to get in one, whether driving it or being passenger.
I drive a 992.1 GT3 RS - Same color as this review ! *non weissach* . I sold my ‘13 997.2 manual TTS to buy it. Its a MONSTER. Revs out to 9,000 RPM W/ 7 GEARS, It NEVER wants to STOP accelerating. Foot to floor going, I am already at ~145MPH when I’m leaving 4th gear into 5th gear, with all of 5th, 6th, and 7th to GO.. I’ve driven/been in a lot. Not this. BUT If you respect her, she won’t kill you. I agree, it ONLY wants to FLY. But I’ve been enjoying it being my Daily Driver. Would I pick up a first date in it? No 😂

actually the downforce on the Senna is 800KG rated at 250KPH, the GT3RS generates the same downforce at its top speed of 285 KPH

wider tyre doesnt necessary mean more grip. clearly downforce is high and wider tyre reduces pressure on that rubber
