Probably the best video you trio have done - it's like Top Gear - only better and now that you've set the standard and to thank your subscribers Alex, rory and alex, you need to make of these types of videos. do the same of more everyday accessible cars. Looking forward to the next comparison line up. The Senna looks like something out of Transformers (and that's not a compliment). The car that stood out was the Ford. Wicked! This is the spiritual successor of Ford's GT90 concept car which never saw production but was a fantastic looking car. Can't wait for the next 30min video. Cars guys are also watch guys. Question to Rory, what watch were you wearing ?
Z4 and GT86! ! If you want a 6-cylinder engine, choose the Z4, and if you want handling and ease of customization, choose the GR86. The two are similar and different, and should not be directly compared, but each has a different customer base. Both are truly great cars.
The Z4 is the best VFM sports car for the street in the group. The lower hp means you can drive it harder without getting into crazy speeds. That said, I'd take Carrera T. There is no substitute.
I've had my GT86 for 10 years. No issues, not ever. Completely stock. Service normally. Taken it drifting. Warm it up then hammer it every time I drive. Can actually use it. Here in Australia it's not worth speeding so what's the point of more power? Bragging? I'm happy. Love what you love.
By the 12th minute I realized I was just here for Alex Kersten, such a good presenter. As far as fun cars go though, very hard to beat the GR86 in this company! Can't argue with Chris Harris' review of it either... That said: the Z4 is a fantastic argument but consumables on the toyota will be constantly cheaper and if you're putting the 200,000+ miles on the car Alex likes... a decade down the line that will definitely matter to the average consumer. Give it a few years and compare the 30,000 car with the (adjusted) 60,000 car for performance for money with common repair costs (if you aren't a youtuber with connections lol)
Cars are like homes they dont always add up but we gotta have them. Personally I drive only Lexus now but recommend Toyota also for the most reliable cars made. However these companies may not have the greatest sports cars.
Rory is without doubt in the top 5 car journalists of all time, his passion and the way he relays this passion and exactly how the car feels reminds me of the early days of EVO magazine, the other two are great too and you all make a great team.

I paid £900 for a black Audi TT 225. I did 30,000 miles on it in two years until the clutch master or slave cylinder failed. I still have the car. I don't mind spending money on a car after 30,000 miles of trouble free motoring. It's not the sportiest thing i've ever driven but good value for money😊.
Congrats on 1 million. You 3 work well together Best car, Senna I mean how could it not be, Best Value BMW as Alex said Values going up - That alone is value for money.

I think it's a rare find, that Golf. I envy you, mate. Loved the Velocity. In a world of electronics/gadgets with windscreens & tyres, such analogue cars are a thrill.
I'm in 'murrica and right now 4th generation Mustangs are close to free and an excellent platform to build anything you like. This channel seems to be based on looking at only new cars but... a great segment could be on used sports/supercars in a similar format to this video. I feel like there is a huge market around cars above 50-75k. For example, if I could I'd get a used 991.2 over a new 992 any day, the Porsche dealerships are full of approved used cars. I'm sure there's a vast range of choice for older super cars in that price range too. The 992 Carrera T was a terrible choice in my opinion for the price. Honestly, the under 30k range is still very strong anyway. The Z4 seems so cool and hasn't been anything I've considered before. My head is spinning for the amount of options that could be considered for in between the Z4 and 911, but sadly this video didn't show that.

I wasn't going to click on the video. Then I spotted Alex . What was he doing with any of the 10k+ motors? Way too good and pricey for him 😂 I'm glad I did watch . Much better than I expected 🍻
Uhhh that TT is like perfect collector car spec, it matches the press car at the time, it's even missing the rear spoiler which is ludicrously rare, that's gotta be at least £5k!
The Ford GT is Ferrari-esque in most aspects. La F, to be more specific. Looks, Exclusivity, Rarity, Price, Value, Interior ergonomics, the whole shebang. And for that, I love it. By the way, more of these whole Autotrader Gang reviews please 🙏🏾
FINALLY got around to this video! On one hand, I applaud you for not falling for the cliche of introducing the MX-5 as the bargain basement option, but on the other hand, I'm disappointed not to see its inclusion - yes, it is a sportscar, don't @ me 😅. Great video, though, and easily a lot more watchable than most recent offerings from Top Gear. On another note, I echo Rory's thoughts on the GR86 - great car to drive, and I think it's considerably better than the GT86.
After the Z4 and the 86 it’s kind of a case of diminished returns. Those cars are just allot of fun and all the driving feels you need. Everything beyond them is kinda bragging ammo. Now I’d love a Porsche but could not justify the cost. Then ownership costs as well.
Amidst the quest for the ultimate bargain TT and the debate over the joy of driving 'analog' sports cars vs. the luxury of high-end supercars, it's refreshing to see the passion for automotive adventures alive and well! It's not just about the price tag or the brand; it's the thrill of the drive, the stories behind each scratch, and the laughter over the quirks that make our rides uniquely ours.
All depends on what makes you smile. 86 for me for tail happy fun and a bike or two. Have to pay me a grand to drive a TT again. Fun video thanks very much.
Great video. Keep them coming! Only criticism..... at £100k, the 911 is best value for money? Yikes, I need a pay rise and a reset. I just don't see that £100k 911T is value for money. There are plenty of cheaper options (even other 911s) that deliver better value for money. I agree with the Z4 being the best value for money.
The Z4 gets my vote... Nearly bought one on a number of occasions, but plumped for a Cayman S and also CLS Shooting Brake AMG 63 later... Z4 for value, but hands down the Ford GT if funds allowed... 911?... Methinks not... Rather go back to a Cayman... Far better handling car... Senna? Awesome just that I prefer the Ford GT... Ferrari?... I'll take a C8 Corvette Z07 or latest NSX any day...
I believe the best sports car is the one that makes you happiest, regardless of the price tag. Ultimately, it's all about finding the perfect balance between performance and personal preference. 🚗💸
Even IF i had the funds spending more than double the price of my 1st car on garish stripes for a Ferrari would seriously have me asking questions about my life and taste 😂
In the real world I have to go with the Toyota. If I was wealthy I would go with the Ford. Congrats on million subscribers. I hope to reach the same amount someday. I have a long way to go.
I’m with Kirsten, the Ferrari is worth the extra, you comparing a sports car with a low end supercar. But for me the king at the top is the gt, my favourite though is the z4 as you can get it closer to the limits and your less worried about the price tag.
It's the law of diminishing returns ....the further up the scale you go you're paying disproportionality more for slight improvements... the Senna is amazing but only if you're ridiculously wealthy and let's face it when Rory was adding up all the extra costs he forgot to mention having another car because no one is going to use a Senna as their daily driver
12:52 woah that surprised me, I did not expect to hear the Unturned menu music in a RUclips video! Is it actually just a royalty-free track? I thought it was made specifically for the game!

I wasn't going to click on the video. Then I spotted Alex . What was he doing with any of the 10k+ motors? Way too good and pricey for him 😂
I'm glad I did watch . Much better than I expected 🍻
Senna is beautiful but can you do your weekly shop, avoiding potholes and speed bumps
Top gear vibes, this was nice to watch, very refreshing 👌
Glad you enjoyed!
I still would struggle to call a TT a sports car, a small coupe my be. It is just a mk4 Golf really in a frock.
Same terrible chassis
nice! love it! close to what Top Gear was in older Days! keep up the good job!
I always love it when they say, "30K is like nothing for a brand new car!" 🤣 Great vid guys 👏
After the Z4 and the 86 it’s kind of a case of diminished returns. Those cars are just allot of fun and all the driving feels you need. Everything beyond them is kinda bragging ammo. Now I’d love a Porsche but could not justify the cost. Then ownership costs as well.
£ for £, that Z4 is the winner of the video
Amidst the quest for the ultimate bargain TT and the debate over the joy of driving 'analog' sports cars vs. the luxury of high-end supercars, it's refreshing to see the passion for automotive adventures alive and well! It's not just about the price tag or the brand; it's the thrill of the drive, the stories behind each scratch, and the laughter over the quirks that make our rides uniquely ours.
Z4 is just a timeless beauty!
Interesting to see another take on The Price of Fun so soon after the Everyday Driver guys did it! Excited for this!
@26.05 he absolutely is fearing for his bank account 😂, the laugh after was his cheeky childish I got away with that one haha
By the order of driving Alex Legouix was supposed to drive the McLaren 23:48 🤷🏿♂️. Great Videos Team!!!🤙🏿🔥🔥
Love this episode! And a very well deserved 1M!
I love the fact that Ford GT has the same infotainment screen as my Mondeo!
My SEAT has the same one as a Urus 😂
The Z4 gets my vote... Nearly bought one on a number of occasions, but plumped for a Cayman S and also CLS Shooting Brake AMG 63 later...
Z4 for value, but hands down the Ford GT if funds allowed...
911?... Methinks not... Rather go back to a Cayman... Far better handling car...
Senna? Awesome just that I prefer the Ford GT...
Ferrari?... I'll take a C8 Corvette Z07 or latest NSX any day...
Love these kind of comparisons. Always puts things in perspective!
Very nice mix of 5th gear and top gear.
Great video
I like the TT and the Porsche !!!
Both cars you can use in daily use !!!
I dig the vibes of the group. Maybe just keep Alex away from the BMWs, he fanbois enough on his own chancels hahahahaha congrats on the milli subs
Congrats on reaching 1 million, love your work, so keep it up, and greetings from Slovenia ;)
Autoalex said Si Coupe I went "ooof" quality video from Autotrader
I believe the best sports car is the one that makes you happiest, regardless of the price tag. Ultimately, it's all about finding the perfect balance between performance and personal preference. 🚗💸
Please do more videos like this with the 3 of u. Reminds me of old top gear.
Even IF i had the funds spending more than double the price of my 1st car on garish stripes for a Ferrari would seriously have me asking questions about my life and taste 😂
The £1,000 sports car may lack the glamour of its pricier counterparts, but its value lies in the raw, unfiltered driving experience it offers 🚗💨.
Damn was waiting to see the Corvette C8 take the value for money category
I’d stick a boot spoiler on that TT if I were you - it will help with the twitching…..
Any TT for a grand will be a heap or a project, even a 2 grand one will be a money pit.
In the real world I have to go with the Toyota. If I was wealthy I would go with the Ford. Congrats on million subscribers. I hope to reach the same amount someday. I have a long way to go.
I have the TT and the gr86. If my TT wasn't such a beater I'd choose it every day.
If not everyone drove every car it's hard to have a fair opinion.
Great video and great selection of cars, although I would have swapped the Carrera T for an Emira
I’m with Kirsten, the Ferrari is worth the extra, you comparing a sports car with a low end supercar. But for me the king at the top is the gt, my favourite though is the z4 as you can get it closer to the limits and your less worried about the price tag.
Given the choice out of all of them, I'd go for a £1,000 TT.
Value for money, I'd go with the GR86 myself. This coming from a 911 owner.
Ok - found another series with AutoAlex in it…. Time to subscribe.
Did the cars have isofix on the driver's seat, so Alex K could safely drive them? 😉😂
Insane video production
The trio is good entertainment.
I Love All Those "Audi A3", "BMW Z4", "Porsche 911"...
22:31 rock paper scissors 😂😂😂
Z4 as value for money, GR86 as a new daily, 911 if you have the spare cash and want a nice weekend car.
Great to see Alex on the show...
I love mclaren senna i don't know when but i will buy that car it's perfection ❤
12:52 woah that surprised me, I did not expect to hear the Unturned menu music in a RUclips video! Is it actually just a royalty-free track? I thought it was made specifically for the game!
On looks, hands down the Ford GT. But I wish for the price it also had some of the technologies and trickeries that Senna has.
23:42 track limits violation, lap time deleted, 5 second time penalty to Ocon.
