I respect these 911s. In the era of 600Hp BMW M5s and 200 mph SUVs, 911 still manages to excite and feel special having "only" 500 and something HP... And it still looks stunning.. And by the way this is the stunning looking car.. I love it.
I love the smile on rory's face whenever he enjoys the car. Makes me think of my childhood when I was this happy to sit next to my dad in the 911 back in the 90's
What are you doing day to day to strive towards this goal? I'm making my way up the Mercedes ladder, started with a 20 year old SLK R170, swapped that for a 2016 SLK last year and 2022 I plan to pickup an SL 400. Just working my ass off as a hotel manager.
Rory has truly found his space again. Not sure if TopGear stifled his style but he seems so much more comfortable back on RUclips where he’s back to his very best! And a big shout out to Oil Kosbab, the cinematography and editing is second to none! 👏

Rory an absolute perfect review. I'm a bit like that. Always flies a bit under the radar. At my age 65, that's the best place to be. Love Porsches. You can buy nicer cars but better, tougher, more reliable, more enjoyable, more versatile? NEVER! Not in a million years. From Africa with love.

It's a car that you'd wanna drive everyday and can drive everyday, flying under the radar that too not at an exorbitant price. This is the perfect sports car for our daily roads. Loved your review. Finally you did a real Porsche. Waiting for you to drive the turbo version.

Great driving review but would like more detail on practicalities of touring in this ‘Touring’ version eg. luggage options for front storage (frunk), how accessible is the rear storage with fixed back seats etc? Maybe you can do a multi day tour video.
What Rory didn’t mention was that both the new GT3 and Touring are available with six speed manual gearboxes. Matt Farah has recently driven a manual Touring on his One Take show.

I hope everyone buying the GT3 with the ridiculous wing knows that for street driving the wing is actually slowing them down (by adding a ton of unnecessary drag). Not to mention reducing their driving range.
