    I love this one because its simple than the previous one I did from this channel that called for insul brite and batting and I had a time sewing the bulk of all the layers. Beautiful fabrics, thanks so much.

    I have one a friend made foe me years ago in the USA. They are not for taking things out of the oven. But work great for serving dishes.

    Thank You I have always wanted one and found Gingerbread fabric and will make one or two. I finish making the Soft Books for my house for little ones when they come. Like the way you did them, had some many people give me different information on how to do it that I was not happy with what they said so just waited to find a way I like, and you were the one. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your staff. Stay Safe till the next time.

    I woul recommend to use cotton batting as well as the insulbright. I have made many of these and have found that the extra layer of cotton batting works well.

    • @jhwilliams6550
      @jhwilliams6550 4 года назад

      Do you use two layers of cotton batting with insulbright in the middle?

    • @yvonnesiler9846
      @yvonnesiler9846 4 года назад

      @@jhwilliams6550 , just the one layer is sufficient, including the mitt (where your hands go). Two layers of cotton batting makes the sandwich too thick to sew.

    Cindy - Thank you for the great tutorial. Now to call my local quilt shop tomorrow and find out if they carry the fabric and insulation fabric. If not a quick call to The Fat Quarter Shop. Going to make one for each of my children for Christmas and of course one for me so I stop burning the insides of my arms. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
