Why waste time on someone who's not even aware of your existence. When it comes down to it, it's still a form of fitness that burns fat and builds muscle.
Powerlifters criticize too. I think everyone has there favorite brand and makes fun of different brands. I used to powerlift and it just burned me out and took SO MUCH time and I was tired of being strong but having no endurance. I started Crossfit and I love it! It helps maintain a decent amount of strength, while building endurance and burning fat and all in a short amount of time! Although, I must admit I'm confused, because although it isn't easy, and it's hard work, a lot people say it's extreme. I don't think it's extreme, I think it's hard work, but doable by anyone in good health.

Crossfit was originally designed as a Special Forces workout for our troops, so it is obviously legitimate. That aside, it has helped hundreds of thousands of people get into much better shape than they previously had been. I love watching obese people come into the gym that I attend and after six months of eating well and exercising via this program (which creates a fun and intense atmosphere for people to workout together), they are in better shape than ever before in their lives. Crossfit's not all about getting big and strong and having big biceps to show off to your friends, it's about exercising and meeting new friends in the Crossfit community.

Well, doing strict pull ups with a 45 pound barbell gets probably grueling after 20 reps. I guess once they start to get really tired they scale the workout in order to keep up the pace and not to stop too often.
Guys take me in im very over weight and I think if I could do cross fit it would change the mind of the world.... plus how much weight do they use during the games for snatches... overhead lunges... squats and stuff

Hallur91 theres two different kinds of grip. true grip-thumbs around the bar. and false grip-no thumbs(what rich is doing here). personally i prefer false grip because i dont feel as much strain on my wrists when doing thrusters as opposed to true grip.
CrossFit's "routine" is about NOT having a routine. Fran is a benchmark workout meaning you do it at random times throughout your fitness journey to track your progress.

Yeah some feel its better for pressing,i use it now and again for Bench press,Push press etc but find it hard to change grip mid clean..

I would have used a weight belt instead of holding the dumbbell between my thighs or holding it with my feet.
It's a suggestion for them not a promotion of myself stop trolling.
Putting the belt on and removing it wastes time. They used dumbbells because it's quicker.
They use Dumbbells cause it a proper weighted pull up ( gymnastic ) . It a lot harder with dumbbell
