I buy Rams for business (high highway mileage) every few years since 06, and my gut says aside from Rams being overpriced...that Hurricane engine will be a "just out of warranty" nightmare now that they lowered the Powertrain Warranty down to 60K from 100K. That engine looks like an engineers wet dream and a mechanics worst nightmare to work on ($$$). Hemi Crate engines are still plentiful as well as rebuilts (one of my trucks with 5.7 has 345K miles on it and still running good)
I have a 2019 tradesman the 3.6 which I love because I put about 800 miles a week on. I was looking at new one but I’m gonna press pause, Don’t know why these companies are hell bent on giving us superchargers
Smaller engines to satisfy the government control freaks and forced air induction to give back the horse power numbers. I tend to follow the belief that natural aspirated larger engines tend to last longer in a work environment. Smaller engines even forced induction engines need more RPM to get the HP numbers besides torque is king with a truck. That is if you are using it for what they should be designed for. An example is the diesel engine. Not real high HP numbers do to relatively low RPM but very high torque. Same goes for most piston aircraft engines.
The **2025 RAM 1500 Tradesman** does not come with Remote Start as a standard feature. The **Big Horn/Lone Star** trim is the lowest trim level where Remote Start is available as an option. Starting from this trim, you can either get it as part of a package or included with certain configurations.
The Laramie trim is the lowest trim level in the 2025 RAM 1500 lineup that includes built-in navigation as a standard feature. Lower trims like the Tradesman and Big Horn/Lone Star do not include navigation as a standard feature, though they offer connectivity options like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which allow you to use navigation from your smartphone.

Just bought my Tradesman a few hous ago. Hoping to toy around with it forreal tomorrow
Nice :) congrats!
Hey can I ask how it is now? What is the speed like when you aren’t towing with the regular V6?
@livefortheweekend420 haven't towed anything yet but it does have some zip. I live in Atlanta so I'm in traffic too much to fully enjoy it lmao
I still think towing has suffered!! I was hoping a bit more paying load to my 5.7 but it dwindled down! Sad and to pricey to upgrade eng. 😢
Does it have cavitation
👍Where I am, one of those huge rear view mirrors would touch something, sooner or later. Like the truck. Price is a bit high.
Does it have remote start

Sorry about your low fuel mileage. 2016 Ram, 1500, 5.7L, 4WD, auto no load general and highway driving. 20-23 MPG.
Fantastic but man these trucks are getting so big!
They really are! For better or worse 🤷♂️
I’ll be sure to not get white. I’d hate for someone to assume I’m using my truck for work. 😂
Ram, please just fix these ugly rims.
Looks good to me
