Keychron stabs are very hit or miss. My V1 boards had perfectly fine stabs, my Q1 V2 needed work, my Q11 probably had ok stabs but got swapped out immediately for Durock V2s that matched the Durock Shrimps, and my V6 stabs were just unsalvageable poop.

Going off the reviews I’ve read, yeah it seems like Keychron needs better quality control and consistency on that front. For many they say their stand turned out fine, but mine definitely were not sadly. Good to know your experience there, thanks man
That IBM board you’ve got on your channel looks amazing, will give that a watch after work.

I had a very similar experience with Ducky One 3 TKL where I was left feeling I overpaid for something that's doesn't match its reputation.
Funnily, the Ducky is all plastic so opposite of Keychron and has case ping still and the case feels well, plastic

I hear you man, good points. Lately I've been hearing good things about the Nuphy Halo 75 V2s, not so much because they're the best boards around, but rather because the price point is lower and people like the Ghostbar. I'm curious to try Melgeek's boards eventually.
I really don't understand why it's so hard to get a prebuilt board that nails its stabilizers/lubes them properly from the get go. Seems like we've been dealing with "ticking" and "rattle" for years and years and unless you deal with it yourself (often it's quite a pain if you go for the holee mod full shebang) you'll be dealing with it some degree or another with most of these prebuilts, even the expensive ones. Seems like by now one of these companies should've designed/incorporated a stabilizer set that's manufactured with a built-in holee mod type solution and proper lubricant -- something in that vein to solve ticking and rattle comprehensively.
I see you've got a GMMK2 vid on your channel! Will check that out tomorrow after work. Have a great week man
