the thing that kept me from clicking off was the keyboard, then the villain appeared, i became hyped and tense when you battled it out and won, that editing was off the charts top quality and entertaining!
Why tf does this keyboard video has better editing, storytelling, bg music, and climax than most big budget action movies being churned out these days. Also now I really want to try that keyboard. Your soothing voice made a great case.
The short answer is “setup and payoff.” One of the most basic requirements of a good story is detailed introduction, maybe even details that appear irrelevant… but that become much more important later in the story. Making the audience feel rewarded for recognizing a pattern, using their memory and developing their intuition for what might happen next? That’s where all the dopamine is in storytelling. That’s the “wait a minute, we saw this guy before!” that makes people happy. Partly surprised, partly satisfied, and proud of themselves for “getting it.” You don’t even have to pay a writer that much, so the fact that big-budget studios have sunk themselves neck-deep in VFX with zero basic story elements is frankly a human injustice. People deserve to know that they’re not dumb. That they can get something out of a real narrative. That when they have the thought of “but why would that character ever do that? That’s too different from what they did in the past!” THEY ARE RIGHT to ask those questions. Hope this helps!
The real answer is movies now a days only get greenlit because they already have an audience as a book or comic or etc. So many young filmmakers and screenwriters come up with good written original ideas but get blocked by these old men who only wanna make money.
I have never been so invested in a keyboard type off. That rematch with Kunaistorms had me on the edge of my seat, especially after getting emotionally invested in the beginning when he comes off super rude! Great video!!

This video calms me down from trillions of attention grabbing short-form videos on the Internet. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication. Love the fight.

RUclips videos ideos like this are in a category all on their own; they aren't made, they're *crafted* . Skillfully crafted. The editing, the original music, the cinematography, the scriptwriting, the storyline, your narration-- I can't believe that what I w̶a̶t̶c̶h̶e̶d̶ experienced just now was a 20 minute RUclips video and not a short, award-winning documentary. This is a masterpiece.
THANK YOU PENGUEFY FOR THIS MASTERPIECE OF A VIDEO, I CAME BACK TO THIS AFTER TWO YEARS AND REMEMBERED ALMOST EVERYTHING AND IT MADE ME APPRECIATE HOW MUCH EFFORT YOU PUT INTO THIS I LOVE YOU (no homo).

You've actually got me interested in typing as a hobby now, that bomb party bit was so intense and incredibly well edited. This video deserves all the views it has, and even more! 👍

Great job my dude, keep doing what you're doing, earned a new subscriber. That villain battle editing was absurdly good too, you've killed it for real.

I didn't even catch this the first time I watched it, but the villain? From the boss battle? That's the same person who insulted pingu. God, defeating them must've felt exhilarating. Amazing video. I genuinely can't stop thinking about it, and I don't even know why. The editing, the way you speak, the messages you offer. This video has stirred much in me, and I really can't think of anything to say in order to adequately describe the gratitude I feel. Thank you.

This is something I never would have expected to find so compelling. I mean, I'm a nerd who has tried and failed to use Dvorak before, but particularly the typing games - I HATED learning to touch-type and had no idea that typing games were a thing people do - you opened my eyes!
I’m currently learning to use workman much more intuitive than Dvorak. Dvorak is great if you can get the hang of it but the key places don’t make intuitive sense so it’s much harder to get proficient with. For reference i was able to type at ~15 wpm right from the start with workman and after just a day if practice i was getting between 20-30. My normal typing speed is only around 70wpm. I think i’ll surpass my QWERTY speed in just a month or two as i’m already able to use workman for everyday task(after about 3 days) without to much struggle. It is slower and can be frustrating at times but most daily typing task go pretty smoothly.

i once used an incredible 'disabled' keyboard. It had two handles. and that was it The left selected the letter group, 8 positions. the right selected the letter, 8 positions, so together there were 64 separate options. very fast once you got used to it. letters arranges so you could roll one control through common letter sequences.

First time I’ve heard of BombParty and some keyboard terminology. It looks really fun and interesting That “boss fight” really was well-edited. The soundtrack was a bop. 🔥

this is the video that taught me what workmans layout is and inspired me to learn a new typing format for the first time since middle school so....thanks
6:09 this is actually happened to me as well. I know QWERTY and learned Colemak and I was trying to type in Hungarian with both of them, and I found I was actually able to do it faster in colemak (despite me being faster with QWERTY in English). I think it has something to do with the fact that for the second keyboard layout you learn, you’re much better at consciously switching to it so whenever you’re trying to type in say, another language, you’re better at finding the exact letter you see on screen.
for 240K subscribers you are genuinely so underrated, like i cannot begin to express how underrated you are. From the editing skills, and goals you can acheive, to the amount of talent you have. I am honestly astonished for the absolute masterpeice that you have created here. Hammer away.

the thing that kept me from clicking off was the keyboard, then the villain appeared, i became hyped and tense when you battled it out and won, that editing was off the charts top quality and entertaining!
Partly surprised, partly satisfied, and proud of themselves for “getting it.”
You don’t even have to pay a writer that much, so the fact that big-budget studios have sunk themselves neck-deep in VFX with zero basic story elements is frankly a human injustice. People deserve to know that they’re not dumb. That they can get something out of a real narrative. That when they have the thought of “but why would that character ever do that? That’s too different from what they did in the past!” THEY ARE RIGHT to ask those questions.
Hope this helps!
I KNOW RIGHT
@@emilysmith2965 thanks for this, it actually makes a lot of sense
@@emilysmith2965 this is an amazing explanation wtf i feel like I just took a college course on storyboarding
Great video!!
just wanted to stop by and say that the production quality in this is crazy. You normally pay for content of this quality. Thanks for taking the time and for the great amount of information.
I cant believe it, this mad lad combined two of the most satisfying things to bless ears: The click of keyboards typing and excellent editing syncing up to music. Didn't know i needed that in my life. -
I can't tell you how many times I have repeated the part that starts from 11:56 until your opponent left the game... It is so good IDK why
I never thought watching a high level game of Bomb Party would be incredibly captivating, but I've been proven wrong.
They should make an anime about this
This is so relaxing. I love videos like this where there is a voice telling a story calmly, sometimes there is an intense moment, but then it comes back to being calm. This video calms me down from trillions of attention grabbing short-form videos on the Internet. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication. Love the fight.
Mans came in as a new anime protagonist, got his ass handed to him by the main antagonist, went through a whole training arc/montage, and chanced upon the main antagonist only to come out on top in the end. Love it!

The editing on this was so unexpectedly incredible I had to comment about it. Didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did.
As a keyboard normie who's always stuck with shitty old office keyboards because I've never even considered that there could be alternative options for them, thank you (and RUclips's recommendations lol) so much for this video. You've actually got me interested in typing as a hobby now, that bomb party bit was so intense and incredibly well edited. This video deserves all the views it has, and even more! 👍
I got into keyboards since I will use them for the rest of my life, presumably. I really just wanted not to use clicky and garbage keyboards for the rest of my life lol (-300 bucks wasted for me lol)
Man, I did not expect a keyboard review to be as hype as this ended up being. I'm not even really interested in different keyboard types if I'm going to be honest, but you really hooked me for the whole video. Great job my dude, keep doing what you're doing, earned a new subscriber. That villain battle editing was absurdly good too, you've killed it for real.
That music edit at 11:57 is just too cool
The whole video screams passion. The editing, thoughtfulness, and openness really shows. You managed to take an analytical video about a keyboard and add emotion into it. Very well done
I need it as a remix
this video got me into keyboards and typing, and now I have an urge to actually learn how to type well. Thank you. Also, that bomb party at 10:56 was incredible to watch, the song, editing, everything was amazing. I've gone back to this video multiple times just to watch that part.

The editing in the last battle was beautiful

Never thought an ergo keyboard video would have a villain arc appear in it. And I never thought I'd be this invested

i once used an incredible 'disabled' keyboard. It had two handles. and that was it The left selected the letter group, 8 positions. the right selected the letter, 8 positions, so together there were 64 separate options.
very fast once you got used to it. letters arranges so you could roll one control through common letter sequences.

this is the video that taught me what workmans layout is and inspired me to learn a new typing format for the first time since middle school so....thanks
This is so well done and just incredible. I love seeing people talk about things they like. Thank you so much for sharing :)
