Hey, thanks for the comment! If you're looking to optimize your desktop setup and keep it dust-free, I'd recommend checking out the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It's a compact device that combines vacuuming and blowing capabilities, perfect for cleaning keyboards and reaching tight spaces. It's a great tool for maintaining a spotless environment. Hope this helps! 👍
@powuhh you may want to check out my last video comparing the Q1 Mac and V1 Mac sounds - I include a sample of the Q1 V2 vs the Q1Max and it’s a pretty different sound. The Max has a lot of attention paid to the foam on the interior, but also has taller KSA keycaps…
Hey there! If you're looking to optimize your desktop setup, I recently came across the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It's a compact device with both vacuuming and blowing capabilities, perfect for keeping your desk clean. It's also versatile and portable, which is great for road trips and outdoor activities. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Thanks for the video! Just got mine. I see that you have the wooden wrist rest. It costs $30, but is it enough if a quality of life boost to be worth it? Please let me know what you think!
Hey there! As a fellow tech enthusiast, I can tell you that having a good wrist rest can make a noticeable difference in comfort during long typing sessions. While I haven't tried the Keychron Q1 V2 specifically, investing in a quality wrist rest is generally worth it for the added support and ergonomic benefits. It's definitely a nice addition to consider for your setup. Happy computing!
I agree - you’ll probably want some kind of wrist rest with the Q1. I was fine using it without one, but the moment I got one I it was hard to go back to not using it… check out my recent video where I designed and 3D printed my own for the Q1 ✌️
Pro added Bluetooth, 4000mAh battery, PC plate, KSA double shot keycaps and a new white colour theme 👍 Most notable is that because of the first two things, Pro supports wireless
The gasket mounted system is designed to allow a good amount of plate flex. They do include additional gaskets that you can add to the PCB if you want to make it stiffer, but it’s a feel thing - some people prefer the comfort of typing on a more flexible keyboard. This has more flex than any of my others and I quite like it 👍
Check out the updated Q1 Pro and Q1 Max - they have different keycap profiles among other variations (wireless, foam, etc) but worth checking out because they will have more colours available, if not now, over time.
Great video! Thanks for the awesome review.
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it. I’d love to know what other content you’d like to see from me as well if you have any suggestions ✌️

I just built a pc with all brown Noctua fans and cooler, I think I'm gonna pair this keyboard with it if it's overall worth it!
The new V1 Max is also worth a look - not an aluminum case, but otherwise really good and less expensive.
@@JakeReevesVideo if I just want to use wired, the Q1 V2 is fine right?

Got one thanks 🙏🏼
I'm glad you liked the video 👍 How are you enjoying the Q1?

Great video but I couldn't help but notice the spacebar is not level at 0:15
wait there is a brown q1 v2?!
Champagne Gold
tayping? where?
how does this differ from the Q1 Pro?

@@JakeReevesVideo oh I see. So this one doesn't do wireless?
@vznquest correct, Pro is wireless + wired, Q1 V2 is wired only.
2:15 when you press the first keys it looks like the whole plate and pcb is being pushed down through the top case, looks very flimsy

It is called gasket flex
Commodore 64
only seems to come in one colour now sadly and that is the only thing that puts my off because I think the colour scheme looks very ugly
